how would you feel about a headcanon of din and reader making the crest more homey and cozy? i can just imagine it with fairy lights and stuff 🥺 x

din’s not one for decorating or being fancy. he’s not messy, but he isn’t a stickler for keeping every little thing in check

in short, he’s no neat freak but he does clean the razor crest when he needs to

but when you came along you were like

sir,,, how do you ,,,,this place looks so PLAIN

and din just goes ??? what do you mean?? “i think the ship is fine. it’s not broken, there’s nothing wrong with it”

“no, not that. it needs to be spiced up a bit.” “what do you mean spiced u—” “decorated!” 

he doesn’t care about decorations at all but seeing your face light up at the idea makes him want to do it 🥺

so you make a quick rest stop and spend the entire afternoon tidying up and decorating the place 

the child keeps getting tangled up in the fairy lights and a good twenty minutes of your time is spent keeping him away from the supplies

but poor thing just wants to help out : ‘) so you lift him up and let him help hang part of it 

and he just smiles and your heart explodes 

(din’s doing more staring at you rather than helping you but you’re too busy focusing on what you’re doing to notice LOL)

"din, stop standing around and do something!”

“i was. doing something.”

LMFAO poor guy

so he finally gets to work right

until he feels something hit his back

and he turns around to see you giggling, and looks down to see a giant fluffy pillow by his boots (feet? boots? booted feet? asdfoiasdf)

din would normally get upset

but like it’s YOU and how could he get mad at his little angel 🥺

so he just sighs and chuckles, tosses the pillow back at you and continues what he’s doing

now it’s your turn to sit down in a beanbag chair and stare at him as he finished decorating (mainly the places you were unable to reach) bc mans is secsy asf when he works

grogu watches you watch him and he’s giving you this Look this entire time that seems to say i See you staring at his ass

and it just goes like that until he’s finally finished an hour or two later

finally you turn on all the lights and smile widely, spreading your arms out 

“see! that wasn’t too difficult, was it?” 

“you worked for barely an hour and left me to do the rest of the work...but yes”

“and i got a fantastic view of your backside! that alone was a lot to take in”

after finishing up you had to take off—the ride ahead was going to take about half a day

& you were exhausted from going place to place and decorating and whatnot so you passed out cold in the passenger’s seat 

din noticed you were shivering slightly so he reached back for the blanket that had been tossed on the floor while you were working and carefully pulled that over your body : ‘) 

i think you drifted off dreaming about his backside. yet again. but like who could blame you i mean look at that Man

that’s all

can i decorate the razor crest with mando pls itd b my dream azcxljfgorw

also i’m not ashamed of that last line at all
