Found a guy who’s whole Instagram career is shitting on other peoples art while he produces shitty art himself (but obviously he thinks his own art is good).
#and when I mean shitting on other peoples art it doesn’t matter if you’re a casual artist who’s painting for fun - an artist trying to make#a career for themselves - of an artist that headed an artistic movement youre shit to him#and his criticisms aren’t even good which is what’s making me annoyed#like they’re either complete misunderstandings of the artists intentions or saying something is ‘not art’ because it’s not revolutionary#literally saying all surrealist paintings ‘are funny idea paintings’ and therefore are bad paintings#like literally calling Margritte a bad artist because you don’t understand surrealism#idk I get super frustrated at people who’s whole personality is just shutting on art that isn’t their own
