#so the guy who screwed me over a few months ago turned up to the work Christmas party with his new whoever#someone tall and blonde and skinny called Alyssa#but here's the thing the entire night i completely ignored him and instead had an awesome time singing Queen with my other colleagues#and going to different bars and shit#and suddenly the entire thing is easier to bear because it's clearer than ever to me that he's actually kind of a dick#helps having several negative accounts from others who've dated him recently#now i just feel stupid that i allowed myself to be vulnerable with him#and gave him the power to hurt me#you live and you learn#also PS i looked fucking hot at the party#which no one will ever hear me admit out loud but#it meant there was a certain satisfaction in not paying him any attention whatsoever#personal#literally nobody cares I'm sorry but i needed to rant into the void today
