aaaaugugh I think the woman with a kid my baby's age I was trying to make friends with is some sort of political weirdo :( she was wearing an ugly ass olive baseball cap with a military-looking patch on it and when I googled it later it's an ID/F thing

my stupid ass left my keffiyeh at home because I was wearing long sleeves if I had not done that we could have either had a face to face confrontation or she could have ignored it and then at least I would know she's not super serious about her politics after googling the patch?? or at least prone to American reticence and avoidance.

I guess I have to text her about it? blegh

#it's too much for me i understand that people have family ties and i do get that #as someone with plenty of different nutcases in my family I get that sometimes you have inherited loyalties it gets tricky #but that is actually different to wearing military patches #literally it's weirder than the 'bring them home' dog tags those are just for dupes and people actually connected to the situation #is it worse to be a propaganda dupe or a zealot? who can say #either way I sort of don't want to hang out with her any more
