is it acceptable to message your boss "sorry when you sent this mild-phrased task through our project management system and didn't frantically bust into my office like DO THIS RIGHT NOW!!! i didn't realize you needed it done before I left. in my defence im so tired I forgot what side of the steering wheel my signal lights were on and kept turning on my windshield wipers first by accident."

#literally everyone when they have an urgent task will bust into our developer office at full speed #but not my boss i guess!#so i had to do work when i got home and im going to get bitched at tomorrow #in my defence the PMs have ZERO definition of 'urgent'#i will get tasks with URGENT in the title and then the PM says 'oh just have it done by the end of the week #so when this guy said it was urgent at 4:40 i assumed i could start it tomorrow at least #4:40 is too late to start any task unless you BUST INTO MY OFFICE AND TELL ME YOU NEED IT DONE AND I WILL BE STAYING LATE
