i think the reason i love labels so much and love putting a metaphorical holographic glittery sticker on everything i feel is because i love categorising things and stringing on terms that are just shorter ways to abbreviate the wider definitions of how i feel. they're like little shorthands for things i can elaborate on with either more words or more labels. i love microlabels because my brain CRAVES the specificity and accuracy that comes with explaining just how i feel and microlabels really help me do that. i love making up new labels that are highly specific to me as well because of that love for accuracy and specificity. it feels like such a highly customisable experience for me, it's like collecting trading cards and dolls and figurines and never feels like a set of guidelines for me to squeeze myself into just to fit inside them, but instead they are for me to pick and choose and change however i like. i am not being placed in boxes, the boxes are being placed on me and i am wearing them like a kid wears a cardboard robot costume
