so tired of people acting like all music composed before 19th century is worthless garbage. 'haha look this 1780s comedy about contemporary class issues isn't as dramatic and harmonically complicated as this 1870s epic tragic drama about mythological gods and heroes'. are you perhaps fucking stupid
