Dean in 9x10: *explains to Cas how "Ezekiel"/Gadreel blackmailed him with Sam's life into kicking Cas out*

Cas in 9x10: *assures Dean he completely understands, Dean's actions make sense, and Cas doesn't hold it against him*

Cas the rest of the series: *claims a room in the bunker, treats the bunker as a homebase, comes and goes from the bunker as he chooses, plays co-host with Dean and Sam when other people come to the bunker (most notably at Mary's funeral), returns to the bunker in the middle of the divorce arc and acts like he has every right to be there and there is nothing Dean would or could do about it*

The fandom for some reason: "So obviously Cas feels like he's just a guest in the bunker and is constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop and Dean to kick him out again."
