today at work i had to listen to my coworkers talk about how they're still feeling so sick and how they've never been so tired in their life after pretending covid is just a cold the other day and then later they started talking about how intensely they hate homeless people as if that's a normal way to act. also (separately) i got bitched at for not operating the washing machine at seamless maximum efficiency. dude i don't even get any benefits besides potentially discounted veterinary services

#well i think i get accrued sick leave or whatever but at the rate of like. barely anything per hour of my life largely wasted #it's insane and evil how people talk about homeless people around here i mean i know that's not just a problem here obviously but they #literally act like Those Crackheads are the root of every problem in our towns it makes me so angry. get over yourself #and for no reason like nobody did anything to the person who was saying this she just had to witness somebody with a pipe. that's it #idk i'm personally acutely aware of how little difference there is between me and any guy on the sidewalk and some people have been lucky #enough to umm lose that perspective #i also do drugs and make weird mental illness noises and motions the only difference is i have a door to keep it mostly behind #and i only have a door because i was lucky enough to have family who could lend me a significant amount of money when i had none and friends #who helped in other ways. idk even if none of that was the case i think it's deranged and deeply cruel to talk that way about random people #who haven't even done anything to you besides exist #cruel and stupid. and myopic #did you have to see a homeless man 😢 maybe even someone doing drugs in public 😰 get the fuck over yourself #ik i said that already but it bears repeating. get the fuck over it asshole #me
