nct 2021 album is out!! i couldn't help but jot all my thoughts on here haha-- they're a little bit disjointed but i hope you can understand them<3

new axis: oof this shit slaps. esp yangyang's part-- i cant move on to the next song smn help. this is also the first song like i need help.

universe (let's play ball): after listening to new axis like 5 times, we've finally reached the second track! again, wtf yangyang??! i love the pre chorus and im so proud of my babies. i just love it when haechan gets to sing the end of the chorus-- like have you seen that nasty little smirk on his face at the end of the first chorus??!?

earthquake: like every nct 127 title track, i'm gonna need a couple more listens to fully process the song and my feelings towards it. i particularly like the post chorus and the pre chorus so far. okay i take everything ive said so far back-- the bridge and last chorus is :insert mark's "seize the opportunity" emote here:

ok!: the chorus is so catchy wha-- im gonna be singing this in the shower. also pop off taeyong!! also yuta?! excuse me-- sir the audacity??

birthday party: okay ngl i lowkey thought this was the sequel or follow up song to make a wish cause you blow out the candles, make a wish and then celebrate, amirite?? hendery's part has me dumbfounded. i lowkey spilled water-- uhm whatwhyhowwhichwherehuh-- the ooehoehoeho part is so good omg yk what im saying??

know now: *melts* im so happy to see all my bias and bias wreckers in one track-- this is gonna be the end of me but like let me live my 3 mins okay? the track is cute. im gonna be careful with what i say cause idk what the lyrics mean and last time i called a song really good, it was make a wish and the lyrics had me flustered asf cause i had recommended it to my 6 year old cousins. yeah...

dreaming: this is the one out of all the track videos that i was the most excited for. especially jisung's part. it was weird hearing renjun sing instead of jeno rapping lmaoo-- i was like "huh??" yeah i definitely need a couple more listens to get used to renjun singing instead of jeno rapping but other than that, i really really like it!

round & round: ooooo interesting... it's not completely my type of song but i can see myself swaying to this on a warm afternoon. how are nct's pre choruses so fucking good every single time?? also this is my favourite bridge from them ever.

miracle: wayv's english tracks neverrr disapointtt!! yangyang's "okay" slapsss and hendery's rap is elite-- omg do i have to say more? wayv never disappoints.

vroom: this track is again not my favourite but i know a few people who listen to this sorta songs so 😏 yk what i'll be doing after this 😏😏

sweet dream: this is going on my "can't sleep" playlist omg-- kun and haechan's voice are such a pretty blend of colours omgg-- jaehyun blessing us with that beautiful voice of his. ohmygod taeil and chenle are so amazing too :omg:

goodnight: this is also going on my "it's 3am and im staring at the sky" playlist. aah it feels like a warm sip of coffee on a cold day. also it feels like they chose the perfect voices for this kind of song like i know im gonna bawl like a baby listening to this at 3 am.

universe: i didnt expect myself to like this track tbh and im very pleasantly surprised. i adore the lyrics and though this isnt my favourite title track of nct, i'm grateful for it's existence.
