hm uhm not sure if this counts as a hc but benatar has definitely rethought why he's still in this band in gen 1.5 like don't get me wrong, he loves his friendships (they're like his only friends, i swear deejay is the only one there who has other friendships other from the band) but sometimes he just goes "okay why the hell am i here." he didn't really think of it at first but then after puff insulted benatar heavily once (puff was drunk because he drinks to well cope and this time, it didn't really work. in fact he got more memories of his terrible childhood, so deejay advised everyone to leave him alone in the bus since he wants some alone time and it would be better for him (even though deejay knows he doesn't know shit about this type of stuff) but guess who didn't listen/forgot). deejay said that puff was just at his worst so his insults were explainable but then he started to ask benatar if he truly wants to be in this band since the fucking midget treats him like shit everyday and benatar has the skill and talent to go solo. (deejay does say/admit that he will miss benatar though) (obviously) (lmfao) deejay's question hit benatar like a truck so yeah, he has questioned it. but he found puff's once in a blue moon niceness like really nice and sweet ( like puff once made benatar's favorite dessert for his birthday) ( oh and that's when the band realized that holy shit is puff actually good at cooking, he's just lazy), and he enjoys his time in the band alot, they're his only friends and he has alot of fun even if puff treats him like shit regularly. speaking about puff again, benatar also finds puff rude ass kinda .. funny? cute? he doesn't really know the word for it (so do I LMFAO) but he actually finds it endearing sometimes. (keyword: SOMETIMES) sorry if this sounds out of character i am genuinely so sorry if it does i dont mean it i swear i havekrgejrgkegjgjejgkjket ?!?!??!?!?!????? the story potential in gen 1.5 is real and it will haunt me to death - ❄️🎀

• when or if I started shipping it.: before their episode even aired lmfao all i had to hear was “skeet ulrich and luke perry have scenes together” and i was like “welp, guess im watching riverdale now”• my thoughts: so many.... im just really emotional about these two cuz the history is so rich and deep but the writers aint gonna do shit with it and theres so much potential just being wasted so instead i gotta sit here and cry about headcanons. they deserve better, im so upset• What makes me happy about them: that fp is so ride or die for fred still to this day. like homeboy was straight up like “i heard your construction company was in trouble so i gathered up a bunch of my boys and we’re here to help you out”. what an icon. and like can you imagine how happy they mustve been in high school? fp literally saying it was the best time of his life??? im so emo• What makes me sad about them: WHAT DOESNT MAKE ME SAD !!!!
