After a phone call with her distant brother (who is now a porn producer) Leonard, everything ends up coming together. Videos from "Fire Island", and other discoveries that the two siblings made after reuniting is unearthed, which not only causes them to bond closer, but it puts a permanent end to Hawk's relationship and ties to the Smiths.

🔥 Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps It’s Real [NR, 35K] 💠 by drabbleswabbles And then it happened. The metallic screech of the gate, the shuffle of men stepping out beyond the prison walls. And suddenly there he was. His hair was shorter than he’d ever seen it. And his glasses were different. But it was him. Their eyes met. Tim stared at him in wide-eyed shock before recognition melted his features into a confused outrage.

Basically a fix-it in which Hawk finds himself back in the early 70s.

Underground Railroad Station 36 Lispenard Street On September 3, 1838, human-rights activist Frederic Douglass escaped slavery in Maryland by disguising himself as a sailor and traveling north by carriage, train, and boat. A few days later he arrived 36 Lispenard Street, then a small brick building and a "station" of the underground railroad, a network of secret "conductors" and safe-houses for fugitive slaves. Here, African-American abolitionist David Ruggles kept a reading room and operated a printing press where he published anti-slavery material, including Mirror of Liberty, an abolitionist newspaper. The site also served as headquarters of the New York Vigilance Committee, one of the nation's most active anti-slavery campaigns, which aided more than 1,000 freedom-seeking men, women, and children. 🧁 Of course, June 6 was our most beloved Catholic boy from Staten Island’s birthday, and there were a few fics to mark the occasion! 🎄 Mary and Tim celebrate Christmas in the 1950s, while 1980s Hawk makes good on a special wish Tim made long ago. ✍️Hawk breaks his promise not to write… While Tim breaks his vow not to give into unholy temptation. 🙏 ☀️ Kenny and Leonard forge a summertime bond before the war ... While Jackson reconnects with dad’s special friend from the cabin, out in San Francisco. 🚗

Hawk flashed Tim the look that he understood meant “Meet me around the back,” so Tim dawdled for a few moments more, trying in vain to wipe off as much dirt and muck as he could from his shirt before oh-so-casually strolling to behind the stables, where it met the treeline and provided just the right amount of cover.

🏝️ I know this fic isn’t shiny and new, or been posted in the last month as is my general rule for FOTM. But, seeing as how this fandom is only six months old, I can’t really call this an ‘old fic’. Either way, this is my blog, I do what I want… Also, this fic has been on my mind and deserved a reread and once again did not disappoint. If anything, was better the second time around. Dare I say, it’s my favorite take of Tim and Hawk in this era and just such a well done, beautifully written work.
