CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Flora Parra is based on Flora from Winx Club. She is a 25 year old fairy, florist/yoga instructor, and uses she/her pronouns. She has the power of flight, geokinesis, and nature manipulation. Flora is portrayed by Lisette Olivera and she is taken.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN'T BE SURE

Ever since Flora was young, she knew her duty was to grow up to be the guardian of her home world, Linphea. A nature fairy who welcomed her destiny with open arms, Flora has always been a responsible and calming presence. She spent most of her early life watching over her younger sister, talking to the plants she tended to, and learning more about her abilities. She was always into spellwork and testing her magic on the plants she cultivated with the most humane practices. A pacifist to her core, she was always more interested in using her magic as self-defense more than anything. She was incredibly powerful, more powerful than even she could understand, but she wasn’t ever interested in power like that. When she started attending Alfea for her schooling like most fairies did, it changed her life for the better. She turned her side of her dorm room into her own minature gardenscape and was eager to dive into her studies. Not too long after making Alfea her second home she met her roommate and future lifelong friend Bloom. With Bloom came the rest of her little friend group that they lovingly named the Winx Club and while she and her friends tended to find trouble more often than not, Flora was always there with a calm mind and an eagerness to defend her friends. When Stella went missing, Flora was one of the first to start tracking her down, calling to the trees to see if they had seen any suspicious activity. When the girls discovered she was on Earth of all places they were quick to try and find her. That was the last she really could recall before they all ended up waking up in Evermore. Her memories seemed to be intact better than some of her friends, but she still couldn’t quite figure out why they needed to find Stella and what was at stake. Five years went by before she could even fully process it and with the time, went her urgency to leave Evermore. As always, she remained calm under the stress of her friend's continuous disappearance. She was starting to wonder if she and her friends went to the wrong town. Either way, she very easily discovered that there was no way out. So all she could do was bide her time, learn more about the town, and do her best to keep her friends sane. She makes sure they all attend morning yoga and she continues to dabble with her spells when she is in private. Hopefully they can all find a way to get the answers they need soon. Flora likes her life in Evermore, but she can’t help but feel she is destined for bigger things and that her home world needs her just as badly as her friends do.

I HAD A FEELING SO PECULIAR

❀ Rosetta Fleur: They both work in the same florist shop and while they have so much in common, they couldn’t be more different! Flora likes the fact that they have a common ground and she won’t lie… she gets a little tongue-tied around the redhead. ❀ Taran Zane: There is something about Taran that intrigues Flora. She wants to get to know him better and understand his ways of approaching life. She thinks he is such a kind soul and that she could learn so much from him. ❀ Vitani Kagai: Flora is not the type to get riled up by anyone, but Vitani really knows how to get under her skin. Flora tries to avoid her altogether to avoid the drama and allure that comes with her, and yet she seems to be running into her more and more.
