Lisa Lloyd

When I initially read through the project brief I had several ideas that came to mind; all in which consisted of paper craft designs. Based on the technique of constructing designs with paper I started my research into designers who already use this method. Lisa Lloyd was recommended to me as an initial starting point and I have to admit her style suits my way of working to a T. Lisa intrigues with the way she constructs her designs and how her idea process can become an extravagant masterpiece. Whilst researching I’m keen to see how each designer includes a deeper meaning and possible story telling to each design. The whale design created by Lisa in particular is one to take note of as it links to my project the most; it was done for a charity, giving the audience food for thought but managing to give something which usually has negative denotations or often misunderstood a positive spin.
