Erst "Playboy", dann Eiskanal Olympionikinnen Buckwitz und Flock zeigen alles 03.02.2022, 13:47 Uhr Als Wintersportlerinnen haben Bob-Fahrerin Lisa Buckwitz und Skeleton-Pilotin Janine Flock sicher nichts gegen frostige Temperaturen einzuwenden. Bevor es für sie zu den Olympischen Spielen geht, heizen sie jedoch noch einmal kräftig ein. Wo? Im "Playboy" natürlich. Auf den ersten Blick haben Lisa Buckwitz und Janine Flock mehr Unterschiede als Gemeinsamkeiten. Die eine ist Deutsche, blond, 27 Jahre alt und Bob-Sportlerin (Buckwitz). Die andere stammt aus Österreich, ist dunkelhaarig, 32-jährig und Skeleton-Pilotin (Flock). Doch tatsächlich gibt es auch so einiges, das die beiden verbindet. Beide sind es schließlich gewohnt, mit irrer Geschwindigkeit den Eiskanal hinunter zu rasen. Beide haben bereits eine erfolgreiche Karriere hinter sich und wollen nun bei den Olympischen Spielen nach den Medaillen greifen. Und beide können sich jetzt ins Stammbuch schreiben, auch schon mal im "Playboy" blank gezogen zu haben. So erscheint das Herrenmagazin im März in Deutschland mit zwei unterschiedlichen Covern. Na klar, dass sie sich für eine positive Einstellung von Frauen zu ihren Körpern einsetzen und dies mit ihren "Playboy"-Aufnahmen unterstreichen wollen. Sie wolle dafür einstehen, "dass sich jede Frau nackt zeigen darf und sich keine für ihren Körper schämen sollte", erklärt etwa Buckwitz und ergänzt: "Ich zum Beispiel habe ein paar mehr Muskeln - na und? Ich wollte zeigen, dass auch das der Körper einer Frau ist. Ich muss mich als Leistungssportlerin nicht verstecken. Keine Frau muss sich verstecken." "Muskeln - na und?" (Foto: Sacha Tassilo Höchstetter für PLAYBOY Deutschland März 2022) Wenn es um diese Botschaft geht, will auch Flock nicht hinter den Berg halten: "Ich möchte zeigen, dass auch ein natürlicher Körper schön sein kann. Einer, an dem nichts gemacht ist. Ich habe keine Schönheits-OPs hinter mir und stehe zu dem, was ich habe. Jede Frau kann stolz auf ihren Körper sein." Für das Fotoshooting alle Hüllen fallen zu lassen, sei für sie "definitiv ein Adrenalin-Kick" gewesen, weiß Buckwitz im "Playboy"-Gespräch zu berichten. Das passe natürlich gut zu ihrem Sport, bei dem sie mit mehr als 100 Stundenkilometern durch den Eiskanal flitzt. Flock hingegen erklärt sogar, die Bilder hätten sie noch mehr Mut gekostet als eine Skeleton-Fahrt. An Janine Flock ist alles echt. Schließlich hatte die Welt- und Europa-Vizemeisterin von 2017 und 2018 schon vor vier Jahren als Anschieberin im Zweierbob mit Pilotin Mariama Jamanka die Goldmedaille in Pyeongchang geholt. Eigentlich würde sie gerne als Pilotin antreten, sagt die 27-Jährige. Derzeit schule sie aber noch um. Deshalb gehe sie nun an der Seite von Pilotin Kim Kalicki zunächst erneut als Anschieberin an den Start. Flock war unterdessen bereits zwei Mal Siegerin im Gesamtweltcup ihrer Sportart. Vor wenigen Wochen gewann sie ihre zehnte EM-Medaille in Folge. Bei den Olympischen Winterspielen in Pyeongchang 2018 war sie nur knapp am Siegertreppchen vorbei geschlittert. Das soll in Peking anders werden. Vielleicht hat sie die Konkurrenz mit ihren "Playboy"-Fotos ja schon ein wenig eingeschüchtert. (Olympics) S. Korea finishes 15th in women's bobsleigh

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea, Feb. 21 (Yonhap) — South Korea finished 15th in the women’s bobsleigh competition at the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang on Wednesday.

The bobsleigh duo of Kim Yoo-ran and Kim Min-seong posted a combined time of 3 minutes, 25.31 seconds after their four heats at Olympic Sliding Centre in PyeongChang, Gangwon Province, coming in 15th place among a total of 20 teams.

Germany’s Mariama Jamanka and Lisa Buckwitz won gold at 3:22:45, while Elana Meyers Taylor and Lauren Gibbs of the United States took silver, posting a time of 3:22:52. Canada’s Kaillie Humphries and Phylicia George won bronze at 3:22:89.

At the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, bobsleigh events consist of four heats over two consecutive days, with two heats per day. The team with the shortest aggregate time gets the gold medal.

The South Korean women won bronze at the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation’s North American Bobsled and Skeleton Cup in January at Lake Placid, New York. The women’s goal in their first Olympic competition here in PyeongChang was to crack the top 10.

PyeongChang is the second Olympics in which South Korea has competed in the women’s bobsleigh event. Their male counterparts, Won Yun-jong and Seo Young-woo, finished sixth in the two-man bobsleigh competition on Monday.

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea, Feb. 20 (Yonhap) — South Korea was in 13th place in the women’s bobsleigh competition at the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games following their first two heats on Tuesday.

The bobsleigh duo of Kim Yoo-ran and Kim Min-seong posted a combined time of 1 minute, 42.44 seconds after their first two runs at Olympic Sliding Centre in PyeongChang, Gangwon Province, ranking 15th among a total of 20 teams. Germany’s Mariama Jamanka and Lisa Buckwitz were in first place.

At the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, bobsleigh events consist of four heats over two consecutive days, with two heats per day. The team with the shortest aggregate time gets the gold medal. The third and fourth heats will be staged on Wednesday.

The South Korean women won bronze at the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation’s North American Bobsled and Skeleton Cup in January at Lake Placid, New York. The women’s goal in their first Olympic competition here in PyeongChang is to crack the top 10.
