1. rosy sunrises - i have to get up at the asscrack of dawn every morning (and hate every second of it), but it means i get to see the sky in all it beautiful glory, orange and rose and lilac.

2. eating in restaurants - we almost never went out to eat when i was a kid, but i really love it. taking time to enjoy your meal with friends or family. (also trying new food, because i’m a very picky eater, trying to be better about it.)

3. books - holding them, reading them, owning them. (i’m so bad this year with my reading goal, but books still make me happy)

4. travelling / the sea - i love seeing new countries and i really love the sea. it’s a long distance relationship, given that i’m literally landlocked, but still.

5. lipsticks - i own way too many already, but it’s my favourite beauty item. i can’t stop buying them.

OKAY BUT WHO'S WHO IN THIS SCENARIO (re: the impromptu-med-consult-via-text post that you Judd/Brenna'd) (I love reading your tags haha)

I’M GLAD YOU’RE ASKING (i’m also glad you like my tags, bc it’s mostly me screaming into the void and hoping nobody thinks i’m weird)

alright it goes something likes this:

there’s this huge hospital in the city, something along the lines of psy medical hospital. super huge, super clean, super mega everything. and some those doctors there are pretty high ranking and arrogant and shit, but not all of course, but they are the best and well

judd’s coming from a big surgeon family and but it’s just not for him. he didn’t go into med school and he’s still figuring things out. there are a lot of people disappointed in him but what can you do? yet he still volunteers in his brother’s vascular lab.

the text was originally meant for some high class doctor in the hospital (the high class doctor being kaleb krychek)

buuuuut it ends up with brenna.

and brenna is like the librarian of our time. if you give her a question and a computer she’ll write you a thesis on how you are wrong even if you didn’t know it to begin with. and while she should technically be studying at the time, it’s basically a matter of life and death and it would be irresponsible to not respond, right?

so she texts him the answer and doesn’t even expect a response.

(to be fair judd wasn’t even sure he would text back, but then the diagnosis - her right diagnosis - comes in and he just has to.)

anyway, they text more after that.

it starts to be a game. judd sends her hints and brenna diagnoses them with google.

and then one day he sends her a text that says: hey um we’ve got a guy here who is super falling for a girl he met yet but she’s some kind of diagnosis goddess what should i do with him?

her answer is: easy just tell him to ask me out on a date,baby

judd does. of course.
