another great thing about having a robust understanding of the theology of the body is that if we say the body speaks a language, that means it has the capacity to speak a whole array of different words. some Christians act as if the body (especially the female body) is just speaking about sex all the time. this is wrong! the body is about more than just sex! not everything we do can be reduced down to a sexuality that has to be tamped down and hidden and feared! you genuinely don’t have to be puritanical about kissing and dancing (and modesty), because they are their own words with their own meanings, and they can have their own proper place without us treating them as equivalent to sex. the body has a lot to say.

one thing i really adore about togame is his word choice and how unexpectedly soft his way of phrasing sentences are. it's almost impossible to translate into english because there's no equivalent verb ending, but you can kind of tell the difference in his tone use. when you listen to sakura talk, for example, the ends of his sentences sound a little harsh and abrupt since he uses a typically informal tone; whereas togame's a lot softer (even if we account for his slower speed), and he uses a verb ending that's rather unusually rounded and unexpected of someone with a physical appearance like him. the elongated ends of his sentences exaggerate this, especially during his pre-bofurin fight when he uses that tone as a way to annoy his opponents.

Now I have this Hc of Steve somehow knowing how to read lips and there really isn’t a reason why he just does. Maybe it’s because he’s on the verge of losing his hearing so he might as well learn how to do it right? Eddie notices that whenever someone is mumbling, meaning that what they’re saying is barely audible, Steve always knows exactly what they’re saying. Eddie has caught on to Steve always looking at his lips when he wants to say something under his breath and it’s not the most pleasant thing he can say out loud. Steve finds it cute how flustered Eddie gets when he’s frustrated and he can make out all the faint little rants to himself. One day, Eddie is caught off guard when Steve is basically just staring at his lips even though there really wasn’t a reason to. That give Steve a chance to admit that half the time he’s looking at Eddie’s lips for a different reason leaving Eddie very confused.

Ok so theory time

In the beginning of Frankenstein, Victor says he made the creatures limbs perfectly proportional and that he was perfect, the only thing that was "wrong" with him was his eyes

But now I'm at the end and Walton says that the creature is horribly disproportionate and that his hands resemble a mummy

Could that mean that while Victor did make life, the corpse parts are still decomposing so Adam has become more and more monstrous as the years have passed?

Like.... the creature decays unbelievably fast and Victor just gets worse in health making them weirdly mirror each other with how their mutual hatred is literally consuming them and ruining their respective lives

It's called Acting, actually

An animator is an actor and makes acting choices for the 3D puppet they are controlling

"They should have said x,y,z in dialogue instead of using microexpressions"

I dare you to dunk on a live action actor for immbuing a script with their physical/facial performances to add depth to their actions and choices in the same way
