Lionel and Emile Savignac are twin brothers from the count's family of Savignac. The eldest sons of Count Arno Savignac and Arlette Savignac (Rafiano).
Lionel Savignac is head of the family after the death of his father, the captain of the royal personal guard and the second sword of the kingdom. A friend and a closest associate of the invincible Lord Roque Alva. Smart, observant, secretive, brave. Lionel isn't inclined to feel sorry for anyone, especially himself.
Emile Savignac is the Marshal of Talig. He's short-tempered and impetuous, but never remained angry long. He prefers to say what he thinks, or to challenge to a fair duel, doesn't like intriguers.

Note
Once upon a time there was this kingdom called Talig. Sure, it was the biggest and (in theory) strongest on the continent, but as you might expect not all was well within its borders. See, its nobility was divided into two camps: the evil, grasping, bourgeoisie clique centered around the relatively new Ollar dynasty and of course the noble, selfless and self-sacrificial opposition... Oh, and I'm quoting the opposition.
Anyway, a few years earlier there was this rather significant military uprising against the throne led by Duke Oakdell, which failed pretty badly thanks to a military maverick called Roque Alva. Who is... well... In the book he's this perfect dark and brooding love interest for any teenager's self-insert OC, alright? But done really well? In a Count de la Fere's more kickass cousin way...? However, for various reasons including direct authorial intervention, I doubt that's what we're getting here, so. #notmyAlva
After that pesky uprising some people involved in that whole brouhaha had to go live abroad ASAP, many of them joining the already existing emigration centered around the noble scion of the previous dynasty, our Heir In Exile, Aldo Rakan (curly-haired blond twink) and his badass grandmother Matilda (dark haired pouty lady). Those guys? Well, as you might have already guessed, they're going to try and take Talig back. Which will lead to a shitton of trouble because a) there is no guarantee that your local Aragorn is actually qualified to rule, b) the enemy states never sleep, and also c) there's a small eldritch Apocalypse scheduled for next year, which may or may not happen. Not an ideal situation by any means.
Meanwhile, Duke Oakdell's only son, Richard has been summoned to attend the squire school of Laic as befits any noble youngster. Well, it's less of a school and more of a political statement, but still, as a functional pariah he's not in a position to refuse. At the end of the squire course, there's always ceremony during which noblemen of the land choose their squires for the next three years. Only there's a problem, you see. Cardinal Silvester (who's been doing most of the ruling around these parts) forbade anybody from taking Dick Oakdell as their squire. And what Cardinal says, usually goes... except that Roque Alva is really bad at listening and really good at doing his own thing.
That's the basic setup we start off with, which then becomes this overblown, multifaceted epic saga which can never end and never will as it sprouts new books any time you blink (we're in the second part of third part of third part of fifth book territory and that's not an exaggeration). And which has rapidly gone down the drain after book four (which came out in three parts). First four books though? Just a perfect mix of fantasy and Alexandre Dumas.
Oh, and that blonde guy? That's Lionel Savignac, Roque Alva's best friend and fellow magnificent bastard. Sees nothing wrong with genocide and loves his Mama a lot. I adore him (but from a safe distance).
What's that Eterna film about? It looks cool!
Eterna is actually a TV show, with planned multiple seasons. The trailer is for a TV movie that will start it all and air in January.
The series is a fantasy one, based on a series by Vera Kamsha, a Russian fantasy novelist. Have not read them myself but I know they are quite popular.
The start of the story apparently revolves around an exiled prince and his friend, a son of a dead rebel, who want to bring down the ruling family of their kingdom and goes from there, apparently inverting a lot of tropes on their heads. @orsuliya who I believe read them, can provide more detail.
The TV series has an English language website here:

I know nothing about this character, I just love the look.

Dynasties in the Kingdom of Talig
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Arigos
Title: Count Arigo Motto: Foreshadows a battle! Head of the family: Germont Arigo Main possessions: County of Arigo
The Arigos are blood vassals of the House of Lightning. They inherited the title and the name of the extinct the Parda family, according to legend, descended from the second son of the first Marechiara's Anax - Astrapion, but some 'guardians' of the purity of blood consider the Arigos are half-bloods.
The only representative of the House is Germont Arigo, the son of Pierre-Louis Arigo and Caroline Arigo. At the request of his father, he was disinherited and exiled to Torka, which he never left. In fact, the letter from his father, which deprived Germont of his title, was forged by Master Capotta, the lover, or rather the secret husband, of his mother and the father of his half-brothers and sister: Guy, Joram and Katarina.
Katarina-Leoni Ollar (Arigo) is the Queen of the Talig. Externally, Katarina gives the impression of a weak, fragile and defenseless young woman. No one can fully understand Katarina's desires and motives that drive her. In order to achieve her goals, she is capable of meanness, so skillfully and artfully, that it doesn't look like meanness.
After the death of Queen Magdala Ollar, she was married to King Ferdinand II. She gave birth to three children. Katarina's son, Charles, is the heir to the throne. It is rumored that all of Katarina's children are from her lover Roque Alva.

The Savignacs
Title: Count Savignac Motto: Foreshadows the chase! Head of the family: Lionel Savignac Main possessions: County of Savignac and Old Épinay
The Savignacs are blood vassals of the House of Lightning, according to legend, descended from the third son of the first Marechiara's Anax - Astrapion. It is known for sure that the current Counts of Savignac are direct descendants of the Eory Kerva from the House of Lightning.
After the accession of Francis the First, they took the side of the Ollars and have been the most faithful servants of the Talig for four hundred years.
Lionel isn't inclined to equate all representatives of the old nobility and even all participants in the latest uprisings with Talig's enemies, distinguishing the instigators and organizers of the uprisings from ordinary participants who had no choice. After graduating the Laik, according to family tradition, chose a military career, as did his twin brother Emile and younger brother Arno.

The Colignards
Title: Duke Colignard Motto: Strong. Loyalty. Justice Head of the family: Joan-Erasmus Colignard Main possessions: County of Er Sabve
The founder of the family - Sebastian Colignard - was a foundling left at the gate of a monastery near the town of Colignard in County of Arigo, from where the surname later originated. Sebastian Colignard was a novice, but his love for the miller's daughter forced him to abandon the tonsure. To feed his family, Colignard became a mercenary, going from a rookie to a squad captain. He joined Francis Ollar, showing himself to be a wonderful tactician.
The Colignard family belongs to the so-called "new nobles". Among People of Honor, they are often contemptuously called "dung men".
