Tell me more, tell me more, about those Star Trek OCs Are 2 human and 1 Vulcan? What are their divisions? What type of ship do they fly? and what TV captain do they most identify with?

hiii did you know you're a gift my friend, because you are. 

Yus, they're two humans and a vulcan, existing on a ship together in a beautiful trifecta of energy. I stuck a bit with the original trifecta grouping: leader, medical and science??? at least where they could cover the ship's needs and I could tell stories from different perspectives lol. Asier started as a science division, Eira is engineering and Lamb is medical. 

their ship is uhhh, idk in the OST era??, so one of their nice Enterprise style ships?? I imagine the Enterprise logs are fascinating for the group to read 'cause that ship is Out Exploring the far reaches, whereas the Hephaestus is closer to their home in the galaxy. 

Lamb is a fun mix to the duo as well 'cause she's serious and tells it how it is so she talks with Asier and it's just DRY WIT everywhere and Eira is Suffering as the only one with a soul apparently. But Eira would (and has) throw down for anyone who treats Asier poorly for being a Vulcan captain, knowing just how much her friend cares. 

I think after the mission where Asier ends up captain, she aggressively cares for her crew??? and people know Vulcans have a careful lid balanced on their emotions but Asier was barely chief science officer before she inherited the entire ship and its remaining crew. And people know how important life is to a Vulcan, coming from a planet of dust and few days of rainfall. So it became the logical step to preserve all of their lives with all of her Being.

uhH it terms of TV captains, maybe Janeway??? Janeway is  Tough, she loves her crew and wants desperately to get back. But she's fair too yknow?? Asier loves her crew, loves their commitment to exploration (as a science NERD she gets excited when they find new planets and no one comments on how she like, almost smiles and moves Faster which is already hilarious because Asier is Tall and Fast so like, good luck catching up to this excited vulcan my friends) and just like, loves them all lots.

Eira hosts Lamb and Asier in her room often, as she has the best couches and Lamb brings her soft heirloom blankets and Asier brings vulcan tea and they all sprawl out and chill. Eira is the only one who can lean against Asier without being pushed off or subtly stared at with disgust. They've known each other for like, fuck, 15 years??? and can finish each others sentences if they're not careful.

I wanna say like, canon-wise, we're in the Hephaestus' fifth year in space since its first year and subsequence attack that switched around the entire crew?? they've explored, had some time off on random fun planets, and it's a good time

Hello! I'm back out of the blue with another knitting question if you don't mind ^^; Would you know of any good websites to order yarn from? Michael's has been my go-to, but I need a light yarn for a project and they don't seem to have a very large collection

oh!! hello!! I don’t mind at all!!

My top two choices are [yarn.com] and [knitpicks]!! I love yarn.com because it is so varied, there are hand-dyed and machine dyed and there are usually reviews which are fairly accurate on what you’re getting. They’re also very quick to get your order to you. Knitpicks is good if you want more solid colors and cheaply priced but fantastic quality yarn. They have a type called swish that is probably the softest machine washable wool I’ve ever touched. They also sell really splendid needles to work with!! Another bonus is you can click on colors you want to look at and compare them all next to each other super easily. The windows just drag around your screen. I’m a perfectionist with my color schemes and will spend hours dragging colors around haha. 

 [Loveknitting] is also a good option because they have a fantastic search engine like yarn.com, and they also send your yarn in adorable project bags!! The ties tend to break out of the casing quickly, but even with that flaw, they’re perfect for holding your project! I recently discovered them though so I don’t have as much experience buying from them. I’ve bought twice from them, and it shipped surprisingly quickly for coming from the UK. I live on the West coast of the USA too so that really surprised me. 

Also if you want to spend a bit more, etsy is a fantastic choice for hand-dyed beauties. I have a couple shops that are super lovely and their stuff is just incredible but it’s a bit of a splurge for me since I’m a student and I really should save the money for school/rent/food/etc. The plus side of etsy shops is the owners are always really excited that you’re buying their yarn and 8 times out of 10 I’ve gotten gifts alongside the yarn. It is such a delight haha! Etsy shops also tend to be fingering weight, which is a thinner weight yarn if that’s what you mean by “light”. But all the shops I gave you have smaller weights so have fun exploring!!

I’m not sure I could actually fight you Myra, you’re too lovely. But, thinking in terms of minecraft games we’ve had, I think [this is a good option for us]. It’d probably either be a sky battle where Meep has created a thunderstorm for us, or next to a lava lake because we’d be dramatic like that. Lots of strategy involved and underhanded tricks, like flaming swords and throwing potions and/or eggs

Pumpkin Spice Lattes V.S. Chai Tea Lattes

I’ve never had a pumpkin space latte actually! I’ll have to try one this fall. I do like a good chai though. An iced chai with a toasted bagel made for a good afternoon snack while I was working in the design lab 

Beanies V.S. Berets

Beanies! I love the slouchy-ness and how customize-able they are when you make them. I haven’t made a beret yet, but I could try it!

Socks V.S. Mittens

Socks socks socks! I love socks and how colorful and creative they can be. 

Halloween V.S. Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving I guess?? Halloween became hard when we moved to a neighborhood that made tricker-treating hard (lotsa hills, rarely had candy at them) and Thanksgiving is nice ‘cause I get to see my grandparents and/or random family members. 

Ghosts V.S. Wizards

hmm. I think Wizards?? ‘cause there’s more stories with them which is cool and you have a bit more creativity with them, but I really dig the meta/headcanon posts about ghosts. Like the one about ghosts walking through walls because they lived in the house when that wall didn’t exist. That’s a cool idea. 

Reading V.S. Writing

Reading I think. I have read so many incredible stories that are so clever and beautiful and something I could never come up with. Writing is fun though when I get in a good groove

Blankets V.S. Pillows

Blankets forever. I love snuggling up in warm blankets and seeing pretty colorful ones and hell, making them is pretty rad too. I always end up with too many pillows on my bed though... 

Braids V.S. Bows

If we’re speaking in terms of hair, i’m going to say braids. There are some beautiful braids out there, and gosh I wish I could draw them better because they’re a fun trait to give a character. In terms of clothes, bows. Like bow-ties and dressed with little bows on the back. 

Coats V.S. Oversized Sweaters

Sweaters!!! There are a lot of cool coats though and again, like braids, I need to practice drawing them. However, I end up wearing sweaters more than coats due to bulkiness and such. 

Jump In a Pile of Leaves V.S. Swing on a Tire Swing

Swing on a tire swing. I like swings in general, and swinging on a tire swing is no different. Me and my sister had a bad habit of spinning ourselves till we got sick on the playground tire swings pfbb. It was very not good. I prefer normal swings really. Kinda peaceful

 Sweaters V.S. Boots

Sweaters! I end up living in sweaters when it gets colder. They’re always so warm and lovely and I like that I can layer them with t-shirts or wear just a bra underneath and be totally set.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it~ and don't you fret! I will most definitely be continuing my commentary. ((there might even be some little add-ins from other Inquisitors who do different paths of the game)) And if I can, the ending chunk/last boss battle/etc will be recorded! I've been doing that for my assassin creed runs and it seems to be the best way to commentate without pulling myself out of the game c:

Honeyphos, for this meme

Gives nose/forehead kisses: Xeph gives forehead kisses, and nose kisses all the time when they're chilling out, or sitting around somewhere because he's at the level that he's able to do that easily. I imagine Honeydew actually kisses Xephos' hands the most, because they're always in reach and after he kisses Xeph's knuckles, or palm, or thumb pad, Xeph always gives his hand a little squeeze in return.  He also likes to bring Xephos down to his level and do that thing that Michael Jones does, where he kisses Lindsay's nose then her cheek.

Gets jealous the most: Honestly, I couldn't see either of them getting too jealous? They've gone through a lot together, but also understand if they need the space away. Honeydew is probably a big flirt forever, and they've talked about it, while sometimes Xephos gets absolutely buried in work in the sense that would make another person jealous for taking up so much of their time. If we're talking Yoglabs here, I imagine Honeydew's jealousy at the beginning turns into worry over how deep Xephos seems to be in his work.

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: Xephos xephos xephos xephos. Honeydew knows he's not supposed to drive himself home, and he constantly forgets the number to call a cab, and Xeph's number is in his favorites so it's obviously the better option

Takes care of on sick days: They both take care of each other on sick days. I imagine Honeydew gets quite scared when Xephos gets his first Mincraftian illness and frets and worries and paces over how bad it could be if Xephos' system couldn't handle it or something. Xephos ends up just fine in the end, but it was still worrisome. Then on the flipside, Honeydew is a sturdy dwarf who probably doesn't get sick often, thus Xephos turns into mega nurse and makes sure Honeydew is comfortable, and has the right amount of blankets and spends hours trying to recreate chicken noodle soup (and Honeydew doesn't tell him it's just a simple flu, he's had this type of flu before too. Xeph' worry is cute in it's own way)

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: Xephos. I can't see Honeydew liking the beach that much. Too much sand, loud humans playing games and talking down to him and Xeph (strange tall bloke, eh?) but he goes along anyways because Xephos is so excited to be at the beach! with water!! and seashells! and sand castles!!!!! and it's wonderful

Gives unprompted massages: I'm not sure?? Honeydew maybe 'cause words are hard, and Xephos is too buried in his work sometimes to stick around and listen to him talk, so he leaves messages on Xeph's desk, or wrapped around his favorite mug, just dorky little things he was thinking of. Messages Xephos stores in his desk to cheer himself up when the day gets stressful

Drives/rides shotgun: Honeydew is unfortunately too short to drive a typical car, and Xephos barely fits to drive it, so I imagine they actually take the bus, or walk or motorcycle instead.

Brings the other lunch at work: Honeydew b/c Xephos is a workaholic

Has the better parental relationship: neither. Xeph doesn't remember his, and Honeydew left home to pursue other dreams

Tries to start role-playing in bed: pfbf HONEYDEW C'MON. he definitely does and Xephos laughs and laughs at first because it is quite funny but I imagine sometimes they do actually get into it a lot and it's fantastic

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Xephos please of course. He's not a good dancer without being drunk but then add the drink and it's the funniest most embarrassing thing to watch. He sometimes tries to slow dance to club dance music with Honeydew

Still cries watching Titanic: they both do, please. They try to hide it every single time and whoever their guest is that time (sjin, sips?? lalna) always wonders if they're alright and it's a joint "i'M FINE [wipes away gross snotty tears]" response

Firmly believes in couples costumes: Honeydew for sure. Xephos rolls with it only because trying to find their sizes in costumes is the worst and he's going to put it on because Honeydew goes through so much effort

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Xephos forever and always.

Makes the other eat breakfast: they're both pretty bad with remembering breakfast. They always catch it on the run usually, or remember at lunch time "oh yeah, breakfast. we should've eaten that"

Remembers anniversaries: Neither of them. The only reason they remember anniversaries is because someone else mentions it then it's a scramble of "oh shit do I give him a gift???" and "wait fuck dinner. we gotta plan a dinner" and it's awful. They remember very few anniversaries on their own, but the ones they do are incredibly important, and they spend a picnic or something just relaxing, and Just Being for a time

Brings up having kids: Honeydew actually. A quiet conversation spoken half asleep into Xeph's nightshirt, wondering, could we be parents? What would our kids even look like, if we were capable of producing kids from our DNA.

Nose/forehead kisses - SIG.

Keys: Really her kisses are on the tops of heads, but if she must, she’ll give forehead kisses. Her kisses are always really light to the touch, sort of like what the sun feels like on a warm warm day. 

Kyra: I can see both kisses being big. She seems like the sort to give kisses all the time and it's become almost an absent minded habit of hers, like hugs between friends.

Beatrice: Nose kisses all the way. I imagine it’s rare that she’s ever taller than her companions, but when they’re all chilling on the couch or making dinner together, she’ll give them little pecks. I also like the idea of Bea tugging her companions down to her level for kisses because c’mon. 

Meelane: I imagine she gives kisses everywhere, she’s just too excited to pick a single place and think ‘yes, a kiss should go here always.’ Her kisses are a bit sloppy in the sense that she wants to show affection right now and gosh dang you’re going to get affection right now.
