Linzin family picnic what are they eating, what is baby most excited to see/do(falling leaves, eating apple pie, things like that). Give us a cute play by play-🧐🔎

I'm so late answering this, so in honor of Halloween, this is for you 🧡🖤🎃

Linzin has decided to do a beautiful family autumn picnic in the garden, under the tree. The leaves have turned into the orange, golds,and reds and have fallen to the ground. Tenzin swirls some air to clear a spot for them.

Lin spent some hours preparing food for them because it's a special holiday and time. She has a small roast duck prepared for herself since her husband is a vegetarian. Tenzin did help her prepare some mooncakes for dessert and baby got to help by pressing them in the mold. He held a couple of mooncakes up to their cheeks bc his baby's cheeks are also round, squishy, and sweet 🥰 Other things Lin prepared were some sliced fruits (pears, apples, melon), rice cake soup, potato pancakes, and fried veggies.

Tenzin and Lin together baked some pies for the whole family and the acolytes (Lin doesn't really feel like it, but she doesn't hate them all and they do work hard when they're not trying to flirt with her airhead).

Baby is excited to be with Tenzin and see all the leaves falling. Some of them fall and touch their face, and they're giggling and reaching to grab them. Daddy has this wonderful talent of blowing the air and making the leaves swirl around like a tornado above them, and baby loooves to watch from below. Then with Lin by his side and baby in his arms, he makes the leaves swirl around his family.

Most importantly, baby is excited to eat the yummy food. But since they're still small, they can't eat everything yet. It's still nice to try some of the soups and softer foods tho

It's a very weird thought not having Su as a possible Tokka-kid (though I know here are other theories x"D) but that's why AUs are nice. You can have as many as you want *cough*

And Su being a Kanto-bby as well... after Kanto and Toph are married. The whole station celebrating the wedding and sometime later the second baby :"D (And Lao and Poppy would be so happy about an actual wedding and no possible 'bastard drama') Even the engagement would be such a huge thing... i like to imagine Kanto planing smth big (perhaps at the station...) though he would perhaps keep it private to not pressure Toph, so I'm a bit on the fence here...

And I really love the possibility of Su and Lin not fighting for attention like that or Kanto doing more against Su acting up. So no triad, no scars, no family falling apart. Normal fights, yes, regular family stuff, but not that heartbreaking, over the top... whatever it is (I love angst, but also happy fluffy feel-good stuff :"D). Suyin can visit/live with her grandparents because she wants to, she can travel because she feels like it.. they can even have more siblings.

When Toph doesn't retire this early and there is Kanto and Lin doesn't get betrayed over and over by loved ones, but actually is protected (and Suyin as well...)... my very self-indulgent Linzin-kids can happen. After Tenzin had to get past an (over-)protective father :"D

I imagine Kanto isn't in any way unreasonable while doing so, but so much more exhausting for any possible boyfriend. Ever got dragged out of your girlfriend's bedroom by cables from the deputy chief of the police? :"D

Thanks to the convos from @stitch1830 and @mudbend I'm now in an AU hell with Kantoph where Kanto doesn't die.

Toph deserves not to stay alone, have somebody by her side who is with her outside the Gaang, (Insert a rant about how LoK writes women, their choices e.g. for being single, single-parenting etc. this post would become too long...) And I got attached to that Kanto now. (There is also that gifset how Toph tells the story about the final big fight against the Fire Nation and it all sounds lame, also how she talks about Kanto and in comparison and there is the conclusion that her relationship to Kanto must have been such a big deal then.)

And Lin gets a better life with a bit overprotective dad and a sister who doesn't give her scars and trauma. And Kanto will be proud AND worried when Lin joins the police, but they teached her everything they know, so she will be fine.

And Kanto will tell Tenzin if he breaks his little girl's heart Aang will soon be the last airbender again.

I know I'm very focused on Lin (Linzin), but Lin growing up with a loving father and Toph having a better life because KANTO and not a family falling apart... gimme ;-;

Hi I wanna say first of all that I really love your Linzin drabbles and HC, like you should've been one of the writers for LOK.

Anyhow, I wanna ask what would be the first word of Linzin's kids in your au? is it "Mama", is it "dada" or is it anything that babies would get from their grandparents?

I would love to be a writer for LOK and rewrite it to make Linzin endgame from the beginning.

Here are their first words!

Areum - "pwease"

A polite bby and she also connected that "pwease" made it easier to receive food. Katara and Aang were the ones she caught this from.

Kang - "more!"

He wanted more fruits and jook. Any and all the food. Sokka and Toph influenced him, and it seemed to stick.

Jin - "Mama"

Lin is the entire world to this tiny bby boi. When she was going through the darkest part of PPD, Tenzin talked about Lin a lot to him. That combo together easily made "mama" his first word ❤️

Mei - "Ay-hed"

Lin doesn't stop calling Tenzin an "airhead" even after kids. And their baby caught up with it quick. Tenzin tried to fix this by saying "Papa. I'm your papa." It never worked and Mei just called him "ay-head"
