Yukino was well aware that it was perfectly okay for twins to not tell each other every little thing.  It was perfectly acceptable for them to keep secrets from each other, and Yusaku was under no obligation to relay all the information about his events since their separation of several months.

But a boyfriend?  A boyfriend, aka someone whom his brother is having romantic ( and possibly more ) relations with?  How could Yusaku not tell him about this?! Yukino was shocked when he found out; his brother had been in another room when his phone buzzed, and the younger twin just so happened to glance down at the screen.

Whoever the hell this ❛ Ryoken ❜ person was, that was a lot of flirty text symbols with the promise of a date to be just a simple friend.  So Yukino never mentioned to his brother that he was aware of the follow day’s date, and decided to slip out that morning to wait at some hole-in-the-wall diner that was the location of the meet up.

When a tall ( and rather handsome ) man slips into the booth across from Yukino, the twin simply takes a long sip of the coffee he ordered as he gives him a glance-over.  

Yusaku definitely knows how to land the hotties.

who hogs the duvetThey definitely switch off, when one steals it and the other wakes up because they’re cold and then they steal it back. However, they never speak of it in the morning and would never admit to anyone that it happens.

who texts/rings to check how their day is goingYuzu definitely, but Masumi always appreciates it and thinks its adorable, even if she teases her about being needy and unable to be apart from her.

who’s the most creative when it comes to giftsAgain, Yuzu. Masumi mostly just gives her gems with special meaning in relation to everything to do with Yuzu and their relationship, but that’s about as creative as she gets.

who gets up first in the morningMasumi, and she usually has breakfast ready if not in bed for Yuzu when she finally gets up. 

who suggests new things in bedMasumi. She may not be creative with gifts, but she is extremely creative and adventurous in the bedroom, though she’s always respectful of the fact Yuzu might not want to quite try everything, and never pushes her to do anything she’s uncomfortable with.

who cries at moviesYuzu, and Masumi adores comforting her and snuggling her when she does.

who gives unprompted massagesMasumi. She’s very touchy feely with the right person, and she doesn’t feel everything needs to be sexual. If Yuzu seems stiff at all, Masumi is there to rub out the knots and try and help her feel better.

who fusses over the other when they’re sickThey both do. Yuzu enjoys it when Masumi does, Masumi get’s annoyed.

who gets jealous easiestMasumi. As someone who doesn’t surround herself with many people, and knowing she’s not always the easiest to be around, she worries eventually Yuzu will grow tired of her and find someone better suited to her bright and cheery personality. She does not want to lose her.

who has the most embarrassing taste in musicI don’t think either do, and I think they’d both be into trying new things musically, just to explore it.

who collects something unusualI’m not sure gemstones are unusual? But between gifting them to Yuzu all the time and having a collection of her own, their house would practically be covered in them.

who takes the longest to get readyYuzu, and Masumi hates it. Sometimes, she lies and tells her they need to be places earlier than they do so Yuzu will be ready for the actual time which is later than Masumi told her. It sometimes starts fights between them.

who is the most tidy and organisedMasumi. She is extremely concerned with being sure everything is in its proper place at all times.

who gets most excited about the holidaysYuzu, and Masumi enjoys watching her get adorably excited over the smallest things.

who is the big spoon/little spoonGenerally Masumi is the big spoon and Yuzu the little, but they do switch off every once in a while. 

who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sportsBoth. As duelists, they can get very into competitions even with each other, and they usually put some sort of bet in place to heighten the stakes.

who starts the most argumentsMasumi. Hands down. Do I even need to explain this?

who suggests that they buy a petYuzu, and Masumi is extremely hesitant and forces Yuzu to do all sorts of research before she agrees.

what couple traditions they haveThough its unconventional, they duel every year on the same day they first dueled each other, the day they met, at Masumi’s insistence. 

what tv shows they watch togetherUsually whatever Yuzu wants. Masumi doesn’t really care for tv, but she does sometimes get invested in things Yuzu will, especially if its some sort of thriller, though she’d never admit she actually likes and wants to watch the show. But she’s always upset when Yuzu watches those ones without her...

what other couple they hang out withHm, this one is actually kind of tough? I’m not sure what other couples would be around, but I do suppose they’d want to hang out with their respective friends and whoever their partners might be. 

how they spend time together as a coupleThey’re very in sync and affectionate towards each other. They love to go out for dinner or to museums and musicals and other such entertainment. Masumi loves to teach Yuzu about things in museums she knows about that the other doesn’t, and it can be completely adorable.

who made the first moveMasumi, and cannonly too. I will never forget the Crystal Rose scene and no one will ever convince me that was not at least somewhat romantic.

who brings flowers homeYuzu.

who is the best cookThey mostly enjoy cooking together, I’m not sure I’d say one is a better cook than the other.

“—Hey! Playmaker!” The action’s not enough to fluster him, but it is enough to catch his attention as Soulburner whips around, quick to turn that ‘hole’ away from the other and his curious poking.

“Don’t you pay attention!? If my scarf’s small when it’s not flickering behind me, then where else do you think it stays? But it’s not something to just go poking your fingers in either!” Embarrassing? Maybe a little.

TickTockStuck in 2020: Looking Forward

Next year is going to be a big year for both TickTockStuck and for me personally. Without inundating you with the full details, there’s going to be a lot of changes for the better happening around here on the real world side of things. The end goal of what’s going on is to getting me back to a place physically and mentally where I can update TTS as regularly as we used to.

Our to-do list heading into next year is pretty extensive, and I’ll say for the record that I’m not making a hard promise that I’ll get everything on this list done by the time 2021 comes. With that in mind I’ve been doing a much better job lately of managing my ambitions with what I’m actually capable of, so you can expect a lot of items to get crossed off.

One of our big priorities in 2020 is going to be giving our blog some refurbishing. TickTockStuck is a lot to get into for newcomers so I want to make some changes to help make things a little easier to understand, namely:

Finally getting around to writing that Introduction section.

Breaking up the Atlas into 2 pages, one for Tick-Tock Town itself and one for the planets of the Celestial Ring. This would include the two maps carried over from last year’s to-do.

A new subpage for the Verse’s aspect catalogue, split into different aspect pairs to detail both their individual powersets and their relation to each other.

While less of a priority, I’ve also got a subpage in mind for demons of the Verse; both as a catalogue of what’s gone up and to detail the many different types of demon that exist.

My plans for the cast page are still nebulous at this point, but I'm likely going to be splitting shipbeasts off from it at a minimum since less of them are distinct characters and more just “species of monster”. I generally want to upgrade this into something more substantial than just a linkstorm.

The Troll Call’s missing quartet are still on the table. My plans are still to have Remele and Lanque out first and then moving onto Ardata and Marvus, but I could change my mind on this depending on how progress on that goes.

Our 8th anniversary is naturally going to have another shipbeast going up, though ideally I’d like more than just the one.

More demons, likely in concert with the new demons subpage.

As part of the new Aspects subpage, continuing to flesh out the aspect catalogue and ironing out more symbols.

More Versal Biology Lessons; some upcoming features honing in on folks like Gamzee, Bronya and Polypa, Aradia and the other serpenaga, and others.

I won’t go into much detail here but one of my long-term goals for the year involves getting through one of the many behind-the-scenes bigger projects I’ve had in mind for some time now. I’ll be very hush-hush about them until they’ve got some meat behind them but I think you’re really going to like what I have coming up.

Naturally, the TTS Extended Zodiac is going to be a continuing feature, though any upcoming news about that is going to be detailed over there.

Thank you all for sticking with us through 2019, it’s been a wild ride but we’ve got high hopes for the future. After this TickTockStuck is officially on break until January, so happy holidays and have a happy 2020, folks.

She’s given her father chocolates, usually bought by her mother, but that was about it. When asked she likes to say she’s waiting to give chocolate to the person who will be her love. And while that is true it also isn’t. Because there was one time, and only once, she’s ever given any one hand made chocolate of any kind. When she was younger her grandfather, on her father’s side, had come to visit around the time for Valentines. Completely spoiled and loved on by her grandfather, she begged to learn to make chocolate so she could make some for him. In the end the kitchen was a mess and the chocolates burnt but the smile on the old man’s face to be handed an imperfect mess of a chocolate hand made by his most adored granddaughter had been worth it all in the end.

Alternate University is a college au consisting primarily of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V and VRAINS cast

this all started when I went to Kasa and said “5 words: Manjoume and Yuuri being roommates”

it has since grown to include @pendulumrisen​, @incantix​, @soulburnings​ and @linkstorm​ ( with characters such as Yuuya, Yuugo, Yuuto, Dennis, Shun, Kaito, the Bracelet Girls, and most recently, Yusaku and Takeru )

The Cake Incident

Yuuri bakes Manjoume a cake for his birthday. A carrot cake disguised as a red velvet cake. 

Manjoume hates carrots and never trusts Yuuri again.

The Carrot Incident

Yuuri decides to replace all of the food he’s eaten with carrots.

Manjoume finds his cereal box full of diced carrots and marches down to Yuuri’s class just to chuck the box at his face.

“This was full yesterday!”

The Knife Incident

Manjoume complains a lot. Yuuri has a lot of spare keys.

Yuuri ‘leaves’ his main key behind and Manjoume locks him out of their room.

Yuuri gets in with a spare key, gets some fake blood and makes himself out to be a bloody murderer before going to Manjoume’s room and waking him up with the image of some stranger holding a giant kitchen knife, covered in blood.

Manjoume screams like a girl.

Yuuri whispers “don’t ever lock me out again” and goes to take a shower.

The Pizza Incident Part 1

Manjoume orders a pizza, assuming it’ll arrive by the time he gets home.

He arrives home to only one slice of his pizza left.

Manjoume bitches at Yuuri for eating his pizza.

Yuuri plots revenge.

The Pizza Incident Part 2

Manjoume tries to order a pizza again for when he gets home.

He arrives home to no pizza.

There is only a single piece of pepperoni left in the box.

The Pizza Incident Part 3

The dorm has a homemade pizza night.

Yuuri puts carrot shavings in the shredded cheese.

Manjoume does not realize it until it’s too late.

The Hole

Soulburner has a scarf hole. Playmaker is curious.

Soulburner freaks out when Playmaker jams a finger in the hole for curiosity’s sake.

That means revenge…which leads Soulburner to shove three fingers in the little hole on the back of Playmaker’s belt.

The Talk

Not long after The Hole.

Ruri overhears a snippet of Yusaku and Takeru’s conversation about The Hole.

“You started it!”

“I put one finger in, you rammed THREE INSIDE ME!”

Ruri assumes they’re together and need a talk on safe intimacy.

Ruri accidentally starts a rumor about Yusaku and Takeru banging each other.

She buys them “The Guide to Safe BDSM” and several supplies.

Takeru and Yusaku never look at each other again.

tl;dr: this au is insane and I don’t know how Kasa is still friends with me.

‘Yeah, but it’s not like you or the other two are ever not with me now. And since you all are kinda still me in a way, having you help really isn’t that much different than me doing it all by myself either. It’d be like someone talking themselves through a problem, only I’ve got you, Yuuto.’

‘You’re stuck on your homework assignment again, aren’t you?’

‘…Just a little.’

Almost instinctively, Yukino reacts to name usage, and his speech in the next words are cleaner and crisper in delivery.

Yukino continues to T-Pose, however, his deadpan stare never lessening in the slightest.
