about the music video you reblogged (with the retouching)? i don't think it's meant to be detrimental to the image of women or raise our expectations to an unrealistic level or anything like that. i think the point is to show how even in video, people can be made to look like something other than what they are; it's not saying "look at how great this is!". It sort of feels more to me like it's trying to tell us to be careful what we believe.

Oh, I more meant the practice of video retouching, not the video itself. c: I shall go elaborate on that.
