Your ending words struck somewhat of a chord in him, they echoing his own thoughts on life most days and reverberating the pain in his own existence as a Liminat, an Abyssal separated from their Draculine. His face softened but for a flit of a moment, the glow in his hellish eyes ebbing barely long enough to be perceived.

"you have more to lose than you realize", he growled, regaining his fierce, dreaded demeanor, the windows to his nightmarish core once more lighting up like beacons from the pits of the abyss, "fail me and I shall SHOW you just how much worse death can be than life", he warned emphatically, tongue trilling across his fangs, "I warn you, the pain shall be unrelenting, both in success and folley, the end, however, shall be worth it as you reach heights of ability untouched by any else of your kind."

Thunder cracked and lightning boomed as Sevatan worked an ancient Abyssal spell. “te’um deralas, luminari tes unum sephatare!” the imposing killer incanted, his voice as dark as the heat within his chest, hands moving in eerily slow motions over the alter before him, one made of broken bone shards drenched in gore “tilum encant miarandus Ecipha moro kepht CYRTA!” he shouted, a brilliant arc of red lighting splitting the sky in time with his words; its terminus inside the very room in which he was performing this spell. The heat was intense, burning the air as if a thousand demons had clawed their way from hell,  the smell acrid, iron and rot mixing with traces of something unusual, otherworldly and the deep billow of dense black smoke blinding, its seemingly infinite blackness covering whatever lay beyond.
