I have no idea what Alpha was doing or understand what she was trying to explain, but she was interrupted. Surprise kisses are surprising apparently.

I did another drawing with Alpha! And added Crimson, Amber, Serif, and Cinnamon in the background. I wasn't all that happy with the last drawing Alpha was in, so I drew her again. And decided to add in the other girls in the empty space. I actually quite like it, though the colors could've been done a little better.

Its done! Its done! I've wanted to draw my SF Papyrus for a long time now, and once I started drawing him, I knew I had to draw More. So, I decided fan art of my fave girls was in order as well.

Ohhh that ask you posted made me think of an ask of my own, what do the humanswitch girls think of the lilytale girls? UwU ❤

alrighty so after being given the go-ahead to actually answer this, i’ll be doing it in the same format as the question that prompted it! the lilytale girls belong to @nighttimepixels & her fic is another one that people should absolutely check out if they haven’t already! so many Good Good Skeleladies (｡•̀ᴗ•́)✧

vani would understand serif a little better than she does sans - they both had the same issue with arguing their way out of the lodge and getting their own place for various reasons. vani’s fairly certain she and the human girls got off a little easier, though. the fact that serif - and the lilytale girls in general - tend more towards teamwork and talking things out before pointing fingers, is something she appreciates a lot. also, she’d absolutely love addy.

angel, i think, would get along wonderfully with vellum; even if she’s less boisterous than your average papyrus counterpart, she has energy in spades and would definitely appreciate vell’s general approach to most things. a lot of their interests seem to be shared, and angel is fascinated by any and all magic vell uses.

ruby is slightly biased towards crimson simply because she can actually understand her better. both speak spanish, and that’s a huge positive in terms of how ruby would interact with her. namely, she’d be less inclined to skirt around more sensitive topics should crim ever bring them up, considering that ruby would actually be able to properly communicate what she means instead of relying on a second, hastily-learnt language. she also loves that crim can absolutely kill it on guitar, she’s always wanted to try and learn to play.

fell would undoubtedly have a higher opinion of scarlet than she does edge - the fact that, despite going through much the same things as she and a few of the others, scarlet still finds it in herself to be proud, confident, and look out for others’ wellbeing at the same time? that’s everything fell strives to be. she’s outwardly confident, yes, but finding a balance between that and caring for others can be difficult. she absolutely loves her fashion sense, as well.

bubbles would be delighted to hang out with sapphire. like with angel and vell, their general outlooks are similar and bubbles would likely feed off sapphi’s natural energy. both happen to be interested in some form of chemistry, as well as much more active pastimes. between sapphi’s penchant for roller derby’s and bubbles’ extensive experience with martial arts, there’d likely be no stopping them once they get going.

ri would... probably be slightly intimidated by amber. which doesn’t make much sense even to her, but seeing a version of herself be so relaxed and quietly confident makes her want to be the same way - the only issue is she can’t, not genuinely. it’d end up in much the same way ri sees stretch; someone to look up to in terms of behavior, but perhaps feel a little left out considering how similar am and stretch are, when ri is much more inclined to fade into the background.

siren would, at first, stay away from pepper under the assumption that she has the same temperament as black. she’d eventually see that this is not the case, and potentially ease up a bit, but there would still be that underlying apprehension for a long while. should pepper stick around long enough to get siren to open up, i think they’d get along fairly well. exchanging quips back and forth comes easily to the both of them, and even if siren isn’t the most active she’s more than capable of keeping up with pepper’s activities. she’d be very interested in partaking in sparring with her.

similarly to her sister, rus would avoid cinnamon at first. it’s likely that cinn would have to make the first move to start an interaction, although i feel like once they do rus would like her a lot more than mutt. rus is very shenanigan-prone when she’s comfortable with who she’s hanging around, containing a surprising amount of energy for someone so outwardly laid-back - i think cinn might be used to that kind of behavior, but i’m not sure how she’d respond to rus specifically. she’d never mention the LV thing.

zia would likely be on neutral-positive terms with glyph, similar to how she is with g. although, glyph tends to have an advantage when it comes to more wall-flower orientated people, and zia is definitely the type to keep to herself in the background. she’d appreciate glyph’s talent for music and may even share some of her own snippets of lyrics, but for the most part would tend towards observing and offering silent encouragement.

So, after downloading an app called 'Live Portrait Creator', I decided to make my personal facecanons for @nighttimepixels Lilytale girls! I'll explain my reasoning for each one a bit

First up are Sapphire and Crimson, since they already have a canon face, I did my best to get as close as I could to it

Up next is Scarlet! I wish the app could let me make narrower eyes, but this was what I did:

Honestly, I totally think Scar would love dying her hair, and she'd be great with the hair care regime. I was debating giving her long hair, but then I thought curly short hair might suit her better so it doesn't get in her face. Plus it's fun to run your fingers through

Next is Amber!

Look at this ridiculously chill and attractive lady. Observe her hair, take in her warm and caring eyes. She just wakes up looking like this, somehow

Next up is everybody's sweet summer child, Vellum!

I gave her long hair because I think that the og paps wanting hair to flow in the wind absolutely applies to Vell. The blue eyes are a trait that runs in the family, so both Serif and Vell have blue af eyes

Speaking of Serif, here she is!

(Vell totally got ahold of her hair to add color to match with) Serif doesn't dye her hair so it's normally a dark brown, but she likes the almost space-y effect Vell did with it. If y'all've noticed a theme with the sanses, there totally is one. Every single sans has freckles. All of them.

It's time for the swapfell gals, and I'll admit, I had a bit of trouble with Cinnamon here

I couldn't get any jackets in the app, so she gets a tank top. With swapfell, I do my best to remember that it's a mix of aus. So with Cinnamon, the mix isn't quite as clear, but it's there. I headcanon that both Pepper n Cinnamon have heterochromia, but hers is very subtle. She has longer hair, which she would let down, but Pepper lectured her on tidiness, so she keeps it up in a lazy bun.

Pepper was fun for me to think about, and I honestly had the most fun with her, second only to Twist.

Right off the bat, Pepper's heterochromia is startlingly obvious, and quite stunning if you ask me. Pepper has a skin condition called Vitiligo which has some of her skin loosing pigmentation, and it carries all over her body. She absolutely takes pride in it's uniqueness, and let's it become a statement of it's own.

Lastly, are the HT cuties, Blade and Twist! Blade'll be up first

I did my best to give her the effect of dilated pupils, and in reality her scar would be more spread out. Because of her injury, I see her being blind in one eye, which leads to her being very protective of her left side. Her hearing may also be slightly affected which frustrates her, but Twist talks in a loud and punctuated tone and consistently stays by Blade's left side, so she can be Blade's eye. Blade's hair is a bit choppy, but it's unclear if it's on purpose or if she just doesn't care.

Lastly, is Twist!! I had so much fun with designing her, and it was a total blast

Her hair is, like Blade's, black. She saw Amber n Sapphire dyeing each other's hair, and they invited Twist over. She keeps it long, and finds it relaxing to run her fingers through it and find new and more intricate ways to braid it. Her facial expression tends to fall into a softer look, often when she's gardening, or relaxing with the crew. Unlike the picture, her lips and heavily scarred, and her eyes are sunken in a bit, but she looks amazing anyway and she knows it.

I’m dying, what the heck, Tumblr didn’t alert me to being tagged in this, I literally double-checked! I’m so happy I saw it reblogged so I could catch it, oh my gosh- I love the atmosphere between Sapphire & Pepper here, what a perfect friendship moment sneakily caught ;v; gods literally any of the lilytale girls could be behind this snapchat, for real. At last, finished commission for an absolutely wonderful person who wished to remain anonymous! Feat. Cinnamon saving Reader (and rescued doggos + Alpha), from Chapter 8 (In Which It’s Out of the Frying Bed, and Into the Fire) of Skeleton Sisters and the Architect.

Biggest animation I’ve attempted yet, had to level up and take some time in a lot of things to actually make it happen. Still so honored and delighted to get to have done a scene from the Lilytale fic (≧◡≦) ♡

I honestly don't know how we ended up there. One moment it was just Crimson and I walking, then Cinnamon and Pepper appeared, then we were shopping. I really don't know.

Looking back now, I do think I should have made Crimson and Pepper a little wider and Cinnamon a little thinner, but I still think they look okay. I didn't really know what to do for the background, so it looks pretty bad. I'll have to practice more with that. And I realized I did the wrong kind of stars for Pepper's leggings. Supposed to be four point, not five. My bad.

Overall, I do really like the picture and the skele ladies are wonderful and I love them.
