The Fairytale of Severus Snape

I made a video based on the song: “Fairytale„ by Alexander Rybak on The Sims 4 featuring the life of Severus Snape, mainly his tumultuous relationship with Lily Evans Potter and how his relationship with mr. Harry Potter is a continuation of that turmoil.

This explores from their childhood friendship, passing through the rough adolescence and bullying, her death, his hard years as the Potions Master in Hogwarts and, finally, his death.

I do believe that his song was perfect for him, only surpassed by “Always„ by Bon Jovi, perhaps.

This video means a lot to me, as it took me about an entire month to finish it. Besides, when I took the decision of making this video I only had I rough idea of what was the Harry Potter saga, so I decided to actually check the source material for a better understanding of what I was doing. During the month I spent doing this project, I watched eight (8) films and read two (2) books. I'm currently reading Prisoner of Azkaban.

I must thank this video for bringing me, definitively, to the Harry Potter fandom.

Pretty good story, it’s excellent for a biography. In the end, it took family to save Kevin from the family curse. Must Watch if you are into pro wrestling or biographies.

I mean... There ARE descriptions in Eldritch horror. Trust me I've read all of Lovecraft's work and he didn't hesitate when it came to dumping six paragraphs to describe a house and the people living in it. Usually to call them inbread pegans with several variations to really get across the horror of a group of Not White people around a bonfire.

The racism of the text aside, there are many descriptions that start with The Thing Being Beyond Description and then discussing the things it looks like but Not Quite. Everything is a twist or misshaping of something more familiar until it's clear that What It Looks Like lives in the Uncanny Valley and should never have been let out.

BIOGRAPHY

Lily is the first child of Lucien and Esther Morningstar. Born in the Early 1900’s in their small family cottage, she spent her young childhood surrounded by nature. She always adored playing in the woodland that surrounded the cottage and as she got older, she cared for both their animals and those who came to them for help. Her compassion for others was strong and it was something that she had from a young age, thanks to her mother. 

She was six years old and playing out in the garden of the cottage whilst her mother tended to housework. All was well and Lily had a small tea party going on with some of her bears. However, the Idyllic day took a turn for the worse as unfamiliar men grabbed her from where she played. Lily screamed at the top of her lungs and kicked and hit as best as she could in an attempt to get free from them but she was not strong enough. Not even her bite as she bit into the hand of the man who had hold of her was enough to make them drop her. She cried out for her Papa over and over again, reaching for her Mother who she could see in front of her. She tried to warn her that others were behind but she had no luck. 

She did not stop with her screaming as she was taken with her Momma. She did not know where they were going but she did not like them at all. The place they ended up was cold and dark. Lily could hardly see anything and the smell was musty and horrid. It was almost a rotten smell. Her relentless screaming had made her tired and with her mother covering her ears, Lily did not hear the men’s voices. Instead, she curled herself into her mother and clung to her for dear life. She did not know what was going to happen but she was quickly alerted by her mother’s agitation and pleas toward the men again. It caused her to cry once more and as the men tried to take her away, she gripped as much as she could on her mother, not wanting to leave her. It seemed to work as Esther ended up carrying Lily to wherever the men wished for them to go.   Seeing her Papa, Lily’s face lit up for a split second but it quickly became filled with fear again. Her mother’s sobs had the young girl looking up at her, confusion and panic filling her features. She did not know what was happening but it was not good. She was passed off to the bad men and that made her scream once again, especially as they carried her away, out of sight of her parents. She screamed for her Papa again. Screamed for her momma, but neither of them came to her cries. Terrified and alone with the men, Lily tried her best to get herself free from their grasp again, writhing and kicking but their grip only tightened and a hand soon covered her mouth and nose.   The hand smelt but her nose was quickly held shut and the palm was pressed firmly against her mouth. She couldn’t breathe; she could barely scream. The last thing she remembered was being forced onto the floor with the weight of the man crushing her small frame. His hand remained over her mouth and nose and his other closed around her throat. His face glaring down at her was the last thing she remembered seeing before she was killed and decapitated, before being fed to her father. 

Opening her eyes, Lily quickly found herself in an unfamiliar place. She was still terrified over what had happened with the bad men and being somewhere completely different, she did not know what had happened. She screamed and looked about frantically before she saw her Momma again. There was a small relief to know that her momma was there too but seeing the look in her Momma’s face, Lily knew that something had happened. Over time, she came to learn that she was in Heaven. She came to learn of the Angels and of God. She was given the chance to grow and age, despite only being a soul. It was as if those around knew something that she did not. 

As she became a young adult, she came to learn of another angel. Only, this angel was her grandfather. She did not know why at first, Lucifer had come to God but it soon became apparent that he was there for her and Esther had given her permission for her to go with him. The resurrection process was odd but Lily went with it. As her soul was placed into her new form, she gasped. Her eyes opened and looked about before looking up at Lucifer and Esther with a swallow passing her throat. It would take time to adjust but she had that with time moving differently within the Silver City.   She got to know her powers and abilities. Got to get used to the fact that she was a mixture of things ( her vampire side would take some getting used to, given her nature. ) and when she was ready, she went with Lucifer to meet her Papa once again. 

It took time for them both to adjust to the new reality; to Lily being back on Earth and to her Papa having her back once again. She quickly became a ‘Papa’s girl’ and spent as much time as she could with him. When her Grandfather then brought her mother back too, Lily was beyond elated. She had both of her parents again and they could be one happy family again like they used to be. However, it was clear that her Papa had changed in the time that they were not around. That apparently did not stop them from trying though, and Lily watched them together and watched as Louie came along. 

Lily studied to become a psychiatrist, wanting to do something with her life now that she was able to live it again and simultaneously helped with her little brother. The longer she was living again, however, the clearer the memories of what happened to her were. She often woke at night, screaming and terrified, feeling like that little girl that was taken again. If things got too much, she shifted into her leopard form and hid under her bed in an attempt to get away ~ She could not even sleep without a light on because sheer darkness was a reminder of the past. 

She was diagnosed with C-PTSD as a result, along with severe anxiety and OCD. She did not want to let it control her, however, and continued to study and then work, becoming a psychiatrist to help others with similar issues to her own. She now lives in A small home, surrounded by nature, and has her own office within the town.
