Do you know why Carmen doesn't get the same amount of ''hate'' as Alex? Because she is irrelevant, George Russell's fans are not as obsessed with her as Charles' fans are obsessed with Alexandra. (also, George is not as famous);

Are we really comparing Lily posing for a video on the paddock....to what Alex does? Lily doesn't hide from the cameras, she lets Oscar post her, she is not hiding away, but she doesn't have such an annoying fanbase that praises every little thing she does; Alexa has many more videos, and photos of her taken than Lily and Carmen combined. I don't have any ill feelings for Alexandra, but I think Charles & Alexa's fans are annoying which influences people to get annoyed by them.

I never got the love for WAGs, especially the ones that don't make any real content of their own. Alexandra posts random paintings (sometimes, not knowing who even painted it... one of her last posts, having the ''fans'' tell her in the comments - yikes!), and even the captions on the posts aren't written by her, but copied from somewhere else or just filming undisclosed ads on TikTok;

Y/n knew she was crazy. It was actually sociopathic what she was doing. She was stalking her boyfriend’s ex girlfriend.

And not stalking stalking. She was not following her in real life… just on social media.

She was just going through the girls instagram photos, looking up everything about her, wanting to know everything that there is about the girl.

Beside that she was also looking at old Twitter threads, shortly after the break up was leaking by a gossip account F1 Twitter went crazy, they loved the couple. They made comments upon comments expressing their hard break at the news, they also still make post dedicated to Lilly and her achievements. And it tore the singer apart.

And she has to admit; lily is perfect.

And that was the worst ever.

Lilly was sweet, good with kids, talented, smart, funny, gorgeous and genuine. And maybe even far better than herself.

She now knew almost everything about her: her star sign, her blood type, her family, hot what school she goes to and on what class she was in. She knows that she slept on her side of Oscar’s bed (which didn’t make her feel good). And other things that Oscar had told her, with them knowing each other and being friends while they were dating and him finding comfort in her after the break up.

And she knows it was crazy; they broke up. They don’t even speak anymore! But still, every time he says her name, Y/n can’t help but think that he mistakes herself for his ex.

So she has to admit, she is jealous.

She always knew she had some kind of a problem, but this?

She thought about Lilly 24/7. If you knew how much she thought about the girl, you’d think she was in love.

And if you’d know how much she looked at her pictures, you’d think that they were best friends.

And that was the moment she realised: she was Obsessed with Lilly Zneimer, her boyfriend’s ex.

And not obsessed in a normal way, she wasn’t just jealous of the amazing girl, no.

She had a had a whole white board dedicated to her: all the things she liked, the things she did, the clothes she white (thanks to the fan accounts), the people she hangs out with, her hobby’s, her go to food places, everything.

She was really going crazy.

Not that Oscar knew, of course he didn’t. If he did he would break up with her for her sociopathic behaviour.

After realising that, she knew there were few things she could do.

So she walked through the house to her music room, she sat down, and begin writing.

She needed to stop with the obsession, and the only way for that was music.

I think being “private” does not mean being hidden away or being kept as a secret. Alexander gets shit on because she is an influencer. Yes , she is. She works with Meshki and has a public tiktok. Imfluencer wags will always get the “she’s using him for fame/clout” accusations. I’m not saying it’s fair but I’m just saying that’s how it is. Audiences are sick of influencers and so that “job” does not tend to get as much respect/ taken seriously. I know this sounds very snobbish and I’m not saying it’s acceptable. I’m just saying how two wags get perceived differently by an audience. Influencers (esp fashion/lifestyle content) tend to have negative feedback because the audience feel like these people live in a different world than them, they are “elites” and out of touch. They flaunt their wealth. They are materialistic. They are shallow beings. Compare that to Lily Z who is not an influencer. She is an engineering student in university. Yes, she poses for the photogs because it’s the polite thing to do. The difference is, whatever “clout” she gets from posing/being associated with Oscar is useless because it’s not like havinv a social media clout does anything for her chosen career. On the contrary, being known as a wag or the gf of Oscar tend to do more harm for her reputation as a woman in STEM. She risks not being taken as a serious engineer. She risks being looked at by her colleagues as the “silly gf” of a driver. ST hates femininity. Being feminine in STEM is seen as shallow, not serious, incompetence, etc. And I genuinely think this is one of the main reasons why Oscar and Lily are private. Like imagine having a degree in aeronautical engineering and all people talk about is your clothes and your bf. NOT your work.

I do agree that Alexandra gets over analyzed and criticized for everything she does. Also, remember that her bf is Charles. That’s a whole level of attention and scrutiny. Lily Z’s bf is Oscar. That’s a mild level of attention.

In short:

Alex: influencer = materialistic = shallow + Charle’s level of popularity

Lily Z: engineering student = intellectual + Oscar’s mild popularity

I think in general, the audience are just sick of influencers and lifestyle content. Alexandra embodies all that which makes her unrelatable. On the other hand, Lily Z has a “useful and respectable” career and appears more modest which makes her relatable.

After seeing Oscar’s adorable photo dump with Lily (best couple on the grid fr along with Alex and Lily) I do have to say it’s hilarious how Carlos never posts Rebecca or how Alex never shows up in anything besides Charles’ stories and I know that their Instagram feeds are way more PR curated but I feel like it’s still interesting because their relationships are arguably way more public than Oscar’s and Lily’s so it’s not like the lack of posts can really be explained by a desire for privacy

previous asker not doing much to counter the "alexandra girlies are unhinged" stereotype here. Anyone who tries to pretend she's the same as Lily is kidding themselves. Lily was with Oscar when he was racing in far less glamourous paddocks, when F1 was a million years away. She stays quiet and private. No modelling gigs. No sponsored clothing or accessories. Just practical clothing. No management deals. Her insta isn't even public. The reason everyone reacts differently is because we get so few glimpses into their love and it's all so genuine. Meanwhile Alexandra is just the latest in a string of lookie-likey girls who magically get modelling deals and have zero life or personality outside of being Charles' girlfriend. I don't get the criticism of Oscar mentioning Lily so much. The biggest smile I've seen on his face wasn't when he won in Hungary, it was when he saw Lily after Silverstone qualifying last year. He blushes in a very specific way when Norris teases him about her.

Maybe this is some kind of toxic mindset where it's not "cool" to love your girlfriend, but I think Oscar mentions Lily a perfectly normal amount. Why wouldn't he talk about someone so important to him?

Is that really a problem though? When Oscar mentions lily, it doesn't feel forced. Charles usually mentions Alex when is taking any his dog or family as a whole. And the few times I have heard max mention his gf, it's been as a part of a joke. Oscar and lily probably have the most normal relationship of anyone in the whole grid expect some other less popular drivers. They have a young love aura around them and lily genuinely seems proud of Oscar whenever we see her.

I love the way Lily Z dresses because it says "girl who has been with her boy since he was in much smaller, less glamourous paddocks further from the action". The only proof you need to know that f1 fans who follow/participate in gossip site is this: if it was charles posting a photodump with 2 photos of alexandra the way oscar did, fans and gossip sites would be working overtime dissecting the post. You guys would be theorizing why he posted her, that it’s definitely a PR move, that alexandra forced him to post her, that it’s for ads and likes. Yall would be discussing, debating, and dissecting Charles’ post like it’s an agenda. Yall would never just accept that maybe it’s just a normal post a bf make.
