she had left management duties up to her trusted concierge. she'd wanted to visit osaka, as -- it's been a long time. & with john wick dead (or so everyone is keen on saying).. it seemed safe enough to venture from her tokyo continental, in order to visit a few dear friends. wishing to attend koji's final ceremony, & wish him well. not to mention check on akira, & ithaca.

face straight, her eyes flicker side to side over the right hand of the concierge. who's still incapacitated, of course. she's curious. "how are you holding up?" she tilts her head whilst lips part in a breath... flicking hair behind her shoulder. "not experiencing too much survivors guilt, are we?"

𝐬𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧, as eyes flicker back & forth across ithaca's face. silently making mental notes, once she becomes aware that the suspected guilt exists. lily was never the most sympathetic of women. she was never trained to be such a way, however she was hardly here as a spy for the high table. lifting china to her mouth for a drink of tea, before placing it with a dainty clack on the saucer below. "if only it were someone other than caine." she murmurs. looking down with her chest inflating, before brown eyes flicker back up. hardened, if anything. "or else there would be naught more than injuries for all of us. especially management." [...] brows furrow, softly. "worried, mostly. concerned. mister wick or no, this has started tension that will not soon pass. under the table, there's unrest. we're divided. & it seems that koji has chosen a side for us."

it’s a question she’s not sure how to answer. sure, she was fine physically. minus some bruising and other injuries she’d suffered whilst escaping the massacre that occurred at the osaka continental. but mentally? questionable. koji was dead, akira barely escaped unscathed (she was now the hotel manager unfortunately due to her fathers death) , and now it was time for the former managers final ceremony. all so little time for her to process what actually happened over the span of a few days. “ i … a little bit. but not enough to set me down the wrong path. i’m doing alright. just a little bit painful to be going through this. you? you doing okay? ” a courtesy to ask, as lily did for her.
