Hope was pretty sure everyone at school was mad at her, or at least everyone in any sort of leadership position. Because they had sent her home. Back to New Orleans. Honestly it wasn’t that big of a deal for Hope. She didn’t particularly care for the school these days. It kept her from her family. Or at least her mom and aunt Freya. The rest of her family were doing a perfect job of keeping their distance from her, which she hated. She’d been trying for what seemed like years to find a way to be able to bring them back together, but she was having no luck. She sat in  Rousseau's with a Coke because her mom could walk in at any moment and she didn’t really want to push her buttons right now by being caught with alcohol. One of her aunt’s spell books was laid out in front of her, the pages worn from centuries of use. “All I did was turn a kid. He asked for it,” Hope complained.

                      DAY ONE AT THIS GODFORSAKEN CAMP, and Rebekah was already thoroughly over everything.  It was about a thousand and five degrees outside ( with no central air ), she couldn’t get service on her cell, and there were BUNKBEDS.  Bloody bunkbeds, in the cabin.  Honestly this was her worst nightmare.  Send help.  SOS.  She set her things on the top bunk closest to the counselor’s quarters, and tried her best to come to terms with her awful fate.  Perhaps Lillian would take pity on her, and let her share the more private space -  with the better beds.    ❛  Give it to me straight love, am I going to have a sore back for the next month sleeping here?  ❜  //  @lillianbeck​

                      Rebekah listened as the rest of the country did, to the announcement that cut into her episode of the Bachelor.  It was on every channel.  Every radio station.  An emergency alert blaring from every phone.  There was some EVENT in California.  A massive earthquake --- or several?  Apparently it had only just happened because she couldn’t find any definitive details.  And it made her go into something of a panic.  WHY she chose to reach out to her ex before anyone else was really beyond her, but she didn’t really stop to think about it.
