The new Ingurgitating Oblivion album is the wildest thing I've heard on a long while. Lille Gruber is without a doubt one of the best drummers around, and really elevates the material. After hearing this, it makes sense that the new Defeated Sanity is gonna be a bit less technical and strange, I bet that man needs a breather lol

Lille Gruber and company continue to be extremely technical and so brutal. The tempo shifts on this are utterly insane, easily my AOTY. Really excited to see them next year when they're touring the EU

The Encounter címmel  jelent meg a  modern improvizatív jazz / fusion metalban utazó német Intercepting Pattern első lemeze.

A zenekart 2016-ban alapította Marte Auer gitáros-billentyűs és Clemens Engert (ex-Cerebric Turmoil) basszusgitáros. A későbbiekben hozzájuk csatlakozott Lille Gruber (Defeated Sanity) dobos, valamint Daniel Sander (Stone Dust Engine) énekes.

“Természetesen mindannyian metalosok vagyunk, nem is rejthetjük el a gyökereinket. Azonban összességében arra törekszünk, hogy felállítsuk a kellő harmóniát a két stílus között, koncepció és ritmusok tekintetében. Több hónapon keresztül ötletelgettünk egymás között, barátunk és producerünk, Tom ‘Fountainhead’ Geldschläger  társaságában; majd felállítottunk egy “csontvázat”, amit az alapvető ritmusok, akkordok, szólók és improvizációs témák tesznek ki.“
