So I doubt anyone here remembers one of the first tsams aus I made since I only made one thing for it and that was like…awhile back now-

But since I was struggling with design stuff for death’s keepers au (and I had the strong urge to do this because I’m going horseback riding tomorrow) : centaur au drawings!

Eclipse got a tiny bit of a redesign, his coloration is still based on a seal bay, he’s just fluffier and a lil more interesting looking now lol (ssssh I didn’t color the 2nd one wrong it’s just…perspective…*coughs*)

While trying to get my brain to correctly draw semi-side profiles to my liking, I drew this lil thing with my OC Nikolai yesterday, with a sketch I liked that I made like, a month ago as a base because however many times I try at the moment, I cannot draw his weird semi-snout. :|

I used my more simplified, angular, cartoony style for this one…

I redesigned him ever so slightly… for example, I gave him sort of “bony plates” instead of teeth. This structure is split into three parts for both the upper and lower jaw:

The frontal plates are made to make sure prey doesn’t escape, especially thanks to those long, sharp, canine/fang-like cusps, which pierce and keep the prey in place. They are also used to rip and kill it. The intermediate plates are for tearing and grinding the prey into smaller pieces to swallow. The posterior plates are for crushing and grinding harder tissues.

I also made his colour pallet a bit duller and colder. Some parts of his skin contrasted against the bluish purple of other parts, and I didn’t really like that so… yeah.

He has an interesting shoulder situation going on, as I’m still deciding what will be going on with his clavicles. I’m still going over if I should keep them or remove them- it’s just that he’s semi-bipedal… so I was thinking maybe articulated clavicles or maybe clavicles made out of cartilage or something… hmm I think I should save this part for another post, I could definitely go on a rant about this…

Oh, and the black under his eyes act like tiny malar stripes. (He’s also very sleep deprived though)

Finally, I made his insides a darker bluish-black to match the rest of his genus, which have bluish/greyish/black blood.

Normally, I’m not one to make such… humanoid non-humans, but Niko has a perfect excuse- as him and the rest of his genus are part human.

Pretty much a top reason on why able is so Fatherly towards it and so damn protective (jax,don't you dare even try and prank creato..you don't wanna be on able's bad side trust me...)

Dune/The Veteran

He got a redesign along with lore + some overall changes.

And now that i got it more sorted out i can say in my story - that would be Dune's campain if it was a mod. it won't be a mod because i can't code, and i dont have the time for something like this.

it(his campain,and the story) takes place slightly before Artificer, So he's in-between Spearmaster and Artificer Timeline wise.

We are mainly following him in the story.

Raptor/The Scout

Raptor my girl! She's gonna be in the story and she's pretty important. I don't believe I showed her here before. so here we go, my beloved tiny Armadillo Slugcat that I like to put into situations.

Her campain would happen the earliest, way before Spearmster in the Timeline.

Crusader/The Runner

He's not gonna be in the story since he happens after Dune. I don't have his whole lore sorted out because I made him not that long ago to fill in a lore gap that had in the story. I still like the lil dude tho, he's silly and I like how he turned out.

Timeline wise he happens at the same time as Gourmand.

design notes and lil musings under the cut!

Ash takes a lot from Pokespe in terms of his proportions (at least how the early chapters look in my head) and some cues from the newer movie designs bc i LOVE those, especially the one from Power of Us. So ya I also wanted to give him a big poofy jacket bc of i remember seeing an interpretation of Red's original sprite as a big jacket as well and i think it suits Ash a lot. The style was kinda early One Piece inspired at first, so there's just a big of Luffy in Ash's design, but I think it ended up more Digimon Adventure in the end lmaoo. The nose bandaid's to just elevate that rookie protagonist feel a lil bit + I spent way too long figuring out a new hat symbol lmaoo. He's also 11 in this world to match Red's age in RBY.

Pikachu I just wanted to draw him like Red's Pikachu in Special and give him the lighter coloured tummy from early artwork.

Misty's the biggest departure obvs but I knew I wanted to give her a crop hoodie and take inspo from Kiana Khansmith's Misty and give her the wetsuit as an undersuit. Then the chunky shoes were carried over from Ash with big scrumpled socks bc I thought it made her look a lil more unkempt. The whole goal was the make her more scrappy looking and focus in on the whole "Tomyboyish Mermaid" thing from the games. Also combined her RBY hair with her GSC do by making it a half-up ponytail that I think is very cute. OH and her shoes are Cerulean Gym branded, bc I imagine in this world there's merch for each Gym that the leader wear, so the wet suit and hoodie would be branded too. The hoodie's just cropped above the logo and the wet suit's logo's covered by clothes. She's about 12, so a lil older than Ash and does not let him forget it.

For Psyduck, I wanted to make him a lil fluffier and ugly-duckling + incorporate the three lil sprout hairs he's got a lil more to suit the style. He also has a neck now, you just can't see it super well here. He's just a fluffy lil duck who hurt a lot. Poor lil guy :((

Brock was pretty straight forward, I kinda wanted to reference his Sygna Suit from Masters with pants and a tank top, but made the pants into cargo pants that can be unzipped into shorts (he's thinks its the coolest thing in the world. He wears hiking boots to go over rougher terrain as a Rock-type Leader and hunt for fossils bc I like that aspect of his game characterization so I carried it over here, and he wears an armband with Pewter Gym branding. His tiny lil facial hairs are all he can grow at the moment bc he's still like 15 as usual, but he thinks it makes him look ~Older, Maturer & More Sophisticated~ so refuses to shave it.

I wanted to incorporate a lil more Geode Dude into Geodude so I changed his colours a bit and added parts where the outer layers of the rock have kinda chipped away in battles to reveal the crystal underneath + added the eyebrows from Alolan Geodude. I imagine it's like, the more outer layer gets chipped away from a Geodude, the closer they get to evolution. I do not at all know what this world's Graveller or Golem would look like but I think I'd canonise the theory of Machoke and Graveller taking aspects of the other when traded and make them kinda like Karrablast and Shelmet in a way.

Broad plot strokes are just these guys would exist in a version of the indigo league w an expanded kanto dex to include all related mons + variants, so stuff like Electivire and Annihilape and Alolan Exeggcutor would exist in there without much fanfare of ~Woahhhh Newly Discovered Pokemon~. Regional variants would be found on the Sevii Islands. Maybe there'd be small type changes too idk. Like pure Rock Geodude that gain Ground on evolution bc Gravel-ler. idk who knows I'm just spitballin. Essentially just a lil more closely following the Game's story, I guess. Less wacky loose adaptation stuff from Indigo League. Not bc I don't like that stuff, just bc it's not what I'd do.

I figure like, there'd be an interlude short arc that takes place in the Sevii Islands just after the Vermillion Gym where Ash would catch a Galarian Farfetch'd and all forms of Paldean Tauros instead of like, 100 Kantonian Tauros, and be introduced to Legendary Pokemon through a quest to track down the Galarian Legendary birds (then find out others can be found back in Kanto). Naturally he'd use the PC system (maybe adapted as some kind of daycare or something, or maybe just a teleporter to Oak's lab like the main anime) and have a couple more than 6 team members to rotate out as needed. Also. Mega Evolution would be a factor bc I think it'd be cool, so Ash gets to Mega Evolve Charizard into Mega Charizard Y.

OH also just for funsies, I'd split the starters across the trio, so Ash gets Charmander, Misty gets Squirtle and Brock gets Bulbasaur.

Basically Ash would end up with more or less the same team from the original series, but with added Annihilape, Sirfetch'd, Paldean Tauros and Mega Charizard Y. I also think I'd add Dragonite from Journeys and make his Gengar the Haunter he befriended that would follow him in secret after helping him beat Sabrina and evolve in the Cinnabar Mansion + officially join his team there.

Squirtle would evolve into Wartortle with Misty and Bulbasaur would stay in the same stage with Brock like Ash's.

I'll come up with and probably draw everyone's main teams at some point later but. ya. that's my piece!

I'm doing a tiny lil redesign of Neil rn!!! to make better animations for. him in the game i need a better basis for how his body is shaped, so i am making some different perspectives and stuff, i made him a bit taller and have a more defined body shape, unlike the original (the right most image) that i whipped up and didn't rly delve in, it has no real anatomy and the weird wobble in his stomache always bothered me BUT now i am redoing it!! along with this redesign i'l also be redoing a few of the animations, stuff like the rotations for the slopes!!! and jump and push animations, if i finish those i can continue with grinding animations for the rail-grind, tricks and more!!

i'll put any changes i made under the cut but lmk if you like it or want to see any characters done first cause its really fun to do >:]

i actually didn't do a ton of changes for him ! i like his design a lot but after seeing fanarts of him with a tan/curly hair/freckles i think it altered my dna a tiny bit so i included it :"] also gave him white pupils, red eyeliner (? is it eyeliner?? some kinda makeup i think) along the bottom corners of his eyes and added a fish-scale pattern onto the red side of his haori!! get it. fish scale. water hashira. yeah. i feel like it adds kinda foreshadowing too if u think about who he got it from (iykyk)

2. kanroji mitsuri

as much as i love love love mitsuri i feel like her design didn't do her a ton of justice !!! i really wanted to lean in to her pink color scheme since she's the love hashira so thats why i changed her haori color (and added sakura blossom patterns) but i also made her skirt a little longer/made the unbuttoned part of her uniform a heart shape (theres no way girlie isn't uncomfortable fighting in that), added a gradient/changed the blue on her socks, gave her more moles/heart pupils, made her hair into one big braid tied w/ a ribbon and with flowers woven into it !! also she has a more rosy skin tone now cause i feel like it works better with her palette. + i made her a lil chunky ^__^

3. shinazugawa sanemi

honestly he's one of my favorite designs so didn't change him a ton but i added a cloud pattern to his haori (it might have been too cropped to be one ??) and added more length to the hem, its just tucked under his belt :D also i edited his smile a little for a bit more spook factor (although i also think if he was smiling not-evily that it would make him look sweeter too so . depends on the circumstance??) i also added different types of scar tissue on his arms/face/chest because the way all of his scars were very harsh and jagged and the same color was kinda jarring imo even if im sure it was to make it easier on the animators which is totally cool !! however i did try to add variation :D

4. kocho shinobu

live laugh love shinobu!! i didn't change her a lot either but it was honestly a missed opportunity to not make her haori in the shape of butterfly wings so i edited it with that idea in mind to the best of my ability!! also i got rid of the shine in her eyes because i feel like cloudy eyes suits her character more... also added gold butterfly decals to her belt and changed the pink parts of her outfit to match her color scheme !! i think pink is more mitsuri's thing so i wanted to give her more purples :D also changed the gradient to just the underside of her hair being purple !! i like primarily dark hair on her more to be honest !!

Hey, so I'm bored and decided to do a bit of a minor redesign session for my Bois. My clone bois. I haven't done all of them, I basically just started. Anyway, here's Dante ( Skeleton clone from kindred spirits for the uninitiated) in his human form/half.

The ink stained the paper ( I smudged it ) so I put some blocks of colour behind him. It actually looks good. Anyway, as I was making these, I drew a tiny bow thing by accident and I realised that out of all my designs, he would look the most like Vlad's biological son, even if his colouring is way different ( I imagine he leans towards Maddie in his genes, he looks closer to Jazz than Danny ) so I thought it was a neat idea and wanted to try leaning into it.

The first draft I realised I did his nose wrong ( I love his lil hooked nose, it fits better) and from there it was just experimenting with the outfit and hair messiness.

Personally, I like the two in the middle best - again he looks a bit like Vlad and I realised it's a happy accident I could lean into - but I think any of these work. I could probably just assume he has more than one pair of overalls/jumpsuits but... Eh, I like toying with clothing.

Here are some minor sketches in my own style I did for fun! •^•

A part of me wanted to make it so Dante was actually made using Vlad DNA... But I actually think it'd be more fun if his grandparents on Maddie's side just had those genes, and he looks like Vlad on accident.

He's also basically the one I'd least like to tweak. My boi is beautiful already. But I do want to change something about the other two's designs. I suppose I'll post those when I do that as well.

Oh, and maybe I should draw a Danno or two to lure unsuspecting phans into the ' clones had lives actually, and that's a great sort of angst because Vlad's A+ parenting and Danny's lack of awareness of the fact all of them were conscious at some point leaves so much to toy and play with in terms of both fluff and angst ' pit! OwO

oc info dump incoming~~

Shared two oc inspiration boards on twt and some friends wanted to know a bit more but i didn't want to make a long ass thread so here we are :3

Bit of background info, this story is basically a revamp of an older one I had along with a mix and match of various ocs I had throughout the years. At this point in time, I feel this project is the most sound it's been and it starts to form itself. Not that i have written too far but it feels manageable for me, so that's good. Another thing, I haven't drawn all the characters in their most updated form but that's where these boards come in. They're not the most definitive version, more or so for the fun of it and the convenience to make changes.

Regarding the story itself, there is an overarching plot, a murder mystery the main character (Kleo) has been hired to solve, and smaller murders that she also works on and that introduce different characters each time (kinda like ace attorney in a sense, those smaller cases aren't too complicated and are quite short but bring things to the story and the development of the characters).

and lastly, some boards are smaller than others and i may have less things to say about some ocs as well, this is an inroduction basically.

ok so first up Kleo: She works at a detective agency as a detective/investigator that takes on the mysteries of the town. On top of that she is hired by Mia (more on her later) to solve that bigger murder case. She's basically Mia's assistant or agent if you will and runs various errands for her, not just investigating. She's themed after the moon and stars so that's a bit important. I'll leave the character development stuff for the story when i write it eventually or whenever I want to post about that too idk, but basically she's a bit of a loner and that's the starting point of her arc.

Characters that remind me of her are Klavier and Jolyne, her attitude/personality has similar energy to theirs. Also i'm inspired by their arcs to write something in the same vein for her. This part of the boards isn't too deep, I don't intend to mirror those characters but it's fun to see the combinations that'll come up (it's also based mostly simply on vibes tbh)

also she's the one i've redesigned most only to come back to a design i came up with last year

she does mean a lot to me, she's my lil skrunkly🤲

Next, Mia. This lady this lady... I don't want to spoil too much about her so this will be pretty short. She's Kleo's boss and veeeery mysterious. Personality wise she's pretty calm and confident and mysterious and a tiny bit mischevious. just a tiny bit. She has my favorite design and colorscheme so far, she's inspired by the sun and nature, in a "life" sort of sense. Her and Kleo's dynamic is very interesting and complex but also funny and goofy at times.

Fun fact about her she lives alone on her island, good for her. She has the Lisa lisa energy but definitely more mischievous. The other lady in the board is Amalia from a comedy drama series in the early 00's, she's pretty iconic at that and also has a very special role in the show, Mia's role is of the same importance. As I'm writing this I realized I didn't put Minda from Twilight princess on the board who is a huge inspiration :( anyway

one thing about her that I'm excited for is the artistic department. I've thought a lot of cool ways to draw her. that's it for her for now

Agape: She's a costume designer in a film studio where the first case takes place and is a witness/suspect to the crime. Agape is one of Kleo's very very few friends and the closest at that. She doesn't have a very complex character arc in the beginning, mainly bcs of her role in the case, but her relationship with Kleo is a subject present from the very beginning. We will step into wlw territory with those too yes yes :3 She's the only person Kleo lets to get so close with her and Agape knows and appreciates that. They will also be working a lot together the two of them. I would like to talk about their dynamic and their relationship both platonic and romantic more but this is not the post for that so maybe another time.

Design wise, she's themed after hearts duh. There are a lot of red and pink accents as well as designer/seamstress themed details. She went to the Daphne Blake school of serving so there's that.

Leon: He's the hothead, overly confident and cocky yet popular with the civilians and media coworker of kleo. He's Kleo's rival at the agency who constantly gets all the good cases and the positive coverage from the media. He is in fact very good at his job but it has blown up his head. He and Kleo are polar opposites yet have more similarities than they'd might think. Throughout the story we do see his redeeming traits and his development into being a better person.

He's themed after the sun and his signature color is orange-yellow, warm and vivid colors in general

before i named him he was just "the jerk" in my head

some guy with no name yet: This guy ik people would love lmao. He owns a small machanic/repair shop though you will rarely see him *actually working*.Well he just doesn't do the fixing, more managing and running the whole thing is his job. He has mentor figure vibes as well being a bit childish for his age. I don't blame him though silliness has no age. He also seems to know much information about people, more than he lets on, hmm. Mia and him know each other as well.

and finally Max: I've drawn him once but i'm not satisfied with how he looked. Max works at the repair shop I mentioned. That being said he's the only employee there :) it's just Max and the guy above, two silly guys at their pathetic bussiness (affectionate). Their dynamic is basically max doing all the repairing and the guy (i really should name him soon oh lord) doing the management ect ect. Those two are also the main comedic duo, like imagine your boss being absolutely incompetent at the main task of his job so you basically take it on by yourself, leaving him in charge of everything else which also doesn't suit him resulting to the bussiness running on your boss' pure charisma and luck. Anyway, Max is a very sweet lil guy and is always willing to help.

Either way-- try to distract yourself a tiny bit with anything really, like music or just,, anyrhing,, I know it doesn't make you forget but it can help with the anxiety atleast (ps that distract isn't the same as be happy so it's okay to feel sad or cry while you do so /gen)

And don't worry about my work!! I use my phone when I got nothing to do or when I'm at lunch, you won't get me in trouble or anything

Alright so AU huh? Mmh well if you know me you know that I love Deltarune. Guess what AU the deltarune fan base hasn’t made yet, at least to my knowledge. The Borrower AU

SO, guess it’s my job huh? Alright, here it is the Borrower AU for Deltarune aka

Minirune

So the basis of this AU is quoted simple, the darkners and the dark worlds are the borrowers and the world of borrowers within the walls. Darkners are tiny about borrower size (around 4 inches on average but with such size variations it can vary haha!) anyway, the darkners used to help the giant Lightners in the light but one day something happened, and the darkners didn’t dare go back out to the light. Many believe the Lightners left them and Chose to ignore the darkners, others believe the Lightners did something to make darkners want to hide. Who knows the real reason.

The dark worlds mostly remain the same, being in the same buildings as they were in game, the only difference is that they are living in the walls, floors, and ceilings. Here’s the cool bit, the darkners still have their powers but they have one extra one, they can turn into the object that represents them. At least to a certain degree. For example Lancer would turn into his card, the Queen (while yes is probably the computer) would be able to shift into a microchip or even a small mainframe or flash drive. I haven’t really decided on that yet haha.

Anyway, the story would be quite similar with kris and susie discovering this hidden world and exploring it. How? Well of course they get shrunk! They have to travel through the dark world to find the fountain that shrunk them and close it in order to get back to their normal size. However even after the fountain is closed the darkners stay darkners, they just lose the ability to hide in plain sight. So susie and kris can let the darkners decide to stay in their current homes or come with them to a new home where they don’t have to worry about being seen by other Lightners.

Now what about our favorite two lads? I’m talking Jevil and Spamton of course? What makes them, them in this AU? Simple really, they talk to a lightner. They learn and got help from a lightner or the knight (since I’m still not 100% sure the knight is a lightner but eh) Both had contact with a lightner and got different things from them. Jevil learned more about how small he really is and how little of an effect he would have on the larger world around him, to which he responds that since his actions wouldn’t matter, that means he can do anything. He also plays with this lightner a lot and this made the kings upset because his interactions with the lightner was putting everyone in danger. So they locked him up. Meanwhile spamton meets mike (who I’m assuming is another darkner but I’m not 100% sure) and mike introduces him to a lightner who supplies him with all these items and trinkets. He becomes well known as one of the best borrowers in the walls, until the lightner and mike just disappear one day. Then everything goes downhill. He is forced to go borrowering after not actually doing it for awhile and often trips up. Lucky there is a robotic action figure hidden away somewhere that might help him escape this little nightmare he’s found himself in.

Anyway those are just some thoughts of mine about this lil AU haha. Also I tried to design some borrower versions of the lads, might redesign them but I honestly like how they look. I really like Jevil’s big bells lol.
