My son is savage

In a taxi, when he climbed onto my lap, I kissed him and said : my baby!

Him (looking around): I don't see anybody else's baby around.

My son, the Cat. 🐈

I need a dog, or at least a cat.

My kiddo lives animals n he needs a pet. He will kill n fry a goldfish. So, that's out.

It's gotta b a cat or a dog. If it's a bird, my hubby will fry n eat it Wen I'm not looking.

Our apartment is smol. So dog's out. Lil baahu can still pet the neighborhood dogs. All of them comes n plays wid him anyways.

Now, we need a strategy to steal one of the million n half cats tht belong to my neighbor, the cat lady. 🐈 🐈 🐈

She has so many. She won't miss one..

Normal days

Me: wake up ammu, u have school.

Him (burrowing inside covers, screaming bloody murder) : I DON'T WANNA GO. U will jus leave me there n go for ice cream..

Chennai is drowning in rains.

Kid(wakes at 7, wants bath, eats breakfast wid zero fuss, gets dressed- is basically Tigger) : TAKE ME TO SCHOOL, TAKE ME TO SCHOOL

Me: I should jus send u to school in Kerala. (we have more rains there)

While visiting my hometown, we went to my aunt's place. Her grand kids range from 3- 16 years old. When my son met those kids, he was understandably shy. He had not met them in a long time. My aunt chided him saying 'boys should not be shy!'

The reaction from the kids-

16 yr old girl : why can't boys be shy?

12 yr old girl: he is only 3. He can feel however he wants.

7 yr old boy: I'm shy. I WILL BE SHY WITH YOU.. (went and hid behind his mother like my kid was doing)

Then they started singing songs they knew he liked ( Dheerane from Baahubali. 😀) and slowly coaxed him into playing with them.

This generation gives me so much hope.

Kid removed the wrapper around the crayon..

Me: what are you doing?

Him: it's going to the bathroom..

My son is hopping around the house claiming he is a 'kungura'. Then he dumped a shopping bag in my lap and started climbing into it. That's when we realised..

Oh.. He s a Kangaroo..

Going on a bike, sitting behind his dad

Him: Dad, if you fart now, will you go up into the sky like a rocket? Hope not. Coz, I don't know how to ride a bike.
