i foRGOT TO POST THIS EEE
Fun little thing I did earlier this month. With the 2nd one, I experimented with the sharpening effect!

okay sooo i was messing with filters and stuff since i had the idea of using the "sharpen" filter for more of an aesthetic use. Sharpen makes the image grainy, but make the colors/lines look slightly sharper. i find it most commonly being used in memes to give it a more hellish feeling as well as with blurry images so its easier to see. Though if the sharpen filter is used too much, it can really muddy up the image with a lot of fuzz. Normally it wouldn't be welcome outside of shitposts, but i thought it could be used to my advantage. This here kinda shows the whole graininess that the sharpen filter can have: sta.sh/0wv1c057etc Pretty much what i did is that i had my base image merged down to one layer, duplicated it, and scribbled all over the new layer. I then sharpened the heck out of it like some dull pencil and it will result in the whole image being fuzzy. Change the blending option for the layer to something like overlay or add and boom, image be fuzzy in a cool way. With this, I took it a step further by having the blending option be divide. From how i understand it, at least in clip studio paint, it makes the colors on the layer change to whats on the opposite of the color wheel (I find it makes the colors look quite vibrant as well). I changed the hue of the layer to be yellow so it will display as blue. I then cranked up the saturation to maximum so now its nice and bright. How i made some areas look darker with shading is by taking a brush with the background color and scribbling. With the faded shading where it sort of feathers out is by using a large blending tool. When blending together the graininess, it will form back to its original state with its original colors. Idk if that made sense at all but ye. You can really have fun with this kind of thing. I hope to apply this idea in the future of Haunted Hearts somewhere
