i really need to get a copy of both the epic of gilgamesh + wolverine: top secret for my bday this year
#gay story about bestfriends and weird dreams#i would argue the wolvie one is also about soulmates just as much as gilgamesh. but thats may just be a me thing.#like..wolvertooth is just if enkidu came back to life but was cursed to hate gilgamesh#cursed to see gilgamesh as the evil man he was before enkidu saved him#would that not be fucked up. to have the One Guy who actually made u feel like life was good suddenly want u dead. huh.#like the whole ending of gilgamesh is gilgamesh just being so soooo sad over his one equal in life being gone...and trying to get him back#i was gonna say we need a comic that really shows that side of sabes but we DID and it was wolverine max AND HE CALLS THEM SOULMATES#ok now do that again but make it in the canon timeline(and make it funny)
