Literally everything I hear about Sarah j maas makes me want to read her books less
#i have utterly no faith in her to be able to write about Certain Things the way they need to#and when i complain abt it ppl say 'everything should be allowed in fiction!' yes but that doesnt mean it shouldnt be handled w discretion#like.... her books are equivalent of marvel movies in terms of entertainment vs art#so i do not trust her use of a thinly veiled comparison in her books to be done with fucking grace rather than just lazy writing 😒#ranting
