I wonder what the overlap between people who seem genuinely excited for Bell’s Hells to go to Vasselheim and reveal that they have Predathos in order to chase away the gods, and people who think the Rat Grinders in Fantasy High: Junior Year were done incredibly dirty by the Intrepid Heroes is.

#critical role #dimension 20 #cr spoilers #it’s just occurred to me the language surrounding people who are genuinely jazzed for bell’s hells to go scorched earth #on the gods (or that’s how i see it) is very similar to the people who saw the rat grinders as deeply misunderstood and really the real #protagonists/most deserving heroes in spyre #like. there’s no need to hide behind revolutionary rhetoric. you enjoy watching hurt people bully people #i’d respect people more if that was their honest takeaway rather than this weird ‘just admit you hate the show!’ nonsense #i do genuinely enjoy cr; i’m enjoying flexing the critical muscles this go around #and this campaign is great for criticism because it isn’t great and is a fantastic test case for critical thought!
