thinking about laura lee, jackie, and akilah and how they all are all so caught up in the vestiges of so called civilized society and the very different ways that manifests particularly when it comes to faith
#like. laura lee chose to see a light at the end of the tunnel but that light can be blinding. she did everything right but its not enough#she wanted to do something right so badly it doomed her#and jackie is caught up in the past in a preemptively mourning kind of way. light at the end is a train type mindset.#she couldnt bring herself to do anything#and then akilah still holds on to memories and im going to do this when we get back type hope because shes one of the youngest! she hopes!#and that kid is sewing her friend's mauled face back together and hallucinating something to love so we'll see where that goes#lu rambles
