First fic ever, and I'm going balls to the wall and staring with a multi-part series that will eventually lead to smut, because why not? This hasn't really been proofread, just can't sleep and writing this out on my phone. Also shameless self insert ideals into the storyline but, write what you know i guess. I hope it's okay, give it some feedback if you want. You won't hurt my feelings.

It had only been a few weeks back since everything happened. You saw your friend fight for months injured and in pain, finally convinced him to get the surgery he desperately needed. (After basically getting the whole company to back you up on the matter, but none the less, it happened) Just to watch him struggle through the physical and mental tolls of the recovery period. But what hurt you more than you would ever admit, is that you stood there by his side.... as a friend.

You've been with the company since the beginning, and sure you started out as friends. Kenny, of course, one of the main talents and you as one of Tony's pick to make sure the brand succeeded. Your area was on talent/public relations, so basically making sure no one says anything stupid on to the press. Which some people made a more difficult job to have than needed.

Over the past few years you built your way up into a higher position but still kept your relationships with most of the wrestlers. One in particular being Kenny. To be fair, even before you were hired you loved the industry and Kenny in particular. You had openly admitted to having a crush on him and Devitt in the past. To which Kenny thought was "cute, interesting... but cute" a reaction that always lingered in your mind but you never investigated.

When Kenny was out, you went by his Florida apartment and brought him groceries every week. He always tried to pay you back and tell you didn't have to but you would always brush it off. The two of you hung out a lot more than usual during that time. Watching movies, playing video games, and talking about what's next for the Elite. At this point in your career, Tony had asked you a few times to weigh in on storylines for a 'fans perspective ', a dream job you had mentioned to Kenny once and then came to fruition soon after.

There had been a few moments here and there where you thought you felt tension between the two of you, hoping that maybe, just maybe, he would make a move. A few times you had stayed late and too tired to drive home. Refusing to let you sleep on the couch, you ending up sleeping in his bed, once waking up in his arms, you replayed that morning multiple times over.

However, nothing ever came of it, but after that night you did notice that he started to refer to you as beautiful and lovely. Words that made you smile like a kid overwhelmed with happiness.

Soon, Kenny was back. Set to win the trios titles with Matt and Nick, the two other people just as excited to have him back at work as you.

The stage was set, the promos you had set played and it was time. A few moments before he went out, kenny pulled you to the side "i just wanted to say thank you. I know I've said it a million times by now but you really have done so much for me. I can't tell you what it means to me. He hugged you close, pulled back for a second and kissed you gently.

It was only a brief second, but it felt like hours, it took everything you had not giggle with excitement, cry, or fall to your knees all at the same time. You were stunned and all you could do was blush smile like an idiot.

"You're amazing, I mean it" he walked away to his mark, jogging in place to get himself ready again. You look over, face red as can be to see Matt standing to the side smiling, trying to act like he didn't see you two. "What?" You say trying your best to stop blushing.

"Nothing, it's just- I didn't know he finally asked you out. He talks about you all the time. It's sweet"

"Well, he hasn't actually that just came out of nowhere and thats why I'm freaking out" you replied, Matt looked confused.

"ELITE ENTRANCE IN TWO"

Matt looked like he was going to say something but ran to get in place.

So, there you are, confused and left to wonder. Was Matt fucking with me? Did Kenny actually feelings for me? It wasn't necessarily a romantic kiss, just a quick peck... maybe you're blowing it out of proportion?? What the fuck do you do now? Do you kiss him back after the match? Is this a dating vibe? Or did he just give you a simple kiss and thought nothing of it...

Before the match was over you had to get the media conference set up. Watching his match from the monitors you were so proud of him. Confused but proud. As they return backstage, you can't even get close to them as basically the whole crew surrounds them. You decided to move on and talk to Kenny afterward.

Press conference is set, you gave Tony his talking points, Punk is by the side ready to go. He looks a little pissed off, but what else is new, you weren't going to let him ruin your night.

Cameras turn on, everything is fine. Your phone dings, KENNY: hey do you want to get dinner with us tonight?

Before you can even answer you see another text from Tony, "get him out of here" you look up and Punk is going off on a tanget. Exhausted, you exclaim "What the fuck is happening now?"

okay that was my answer,, but i have some built up emotions regarding this ship so a fresh, VERY LONG rant coming up 😭—

Okay so as I had said before, Riven x Musa was actually first ship i ever actually "shipped". i hadn't really known anything about fandom or shipping back then, all i knew was that they looked good together and they should kiss (dudes i was a baby, spare me this one) **also remember that i only watched like the first two (2) seasons that too the episodes were not in order so then, when i'd answered the ask a few days back, i was like huh, i haven't watched winx club in ages maybe i should binge it?? but as a classic me move, ofc after the first four episodes i gave up and started reading a book (💀) but when i was aimlessly watching videos on youtube the other day, i came across the official Winx club yt channel aaaannd, they had done something really amazing. they'd made compilation vidoes of all the ships, like "Flora and Helia Love Story [Season 2 to S7]" that was so amazing!?! so obviously i watched Musa and Riven's story. I'd remembered that they had a lot, and i mean A LOT, of conflicts throughout the seasons, but yknow, i was still really happy to see them. Before, to have a relationship in shows, all i knew was that the people have to be pretty, and if they look good together, they're a good couple (1 like = 1 braincell for younger me 😭) But now that i know that that isn't the formula to a good relationship, i could see some many red flags in their relationship. like my mind was constantly like: 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🥰🥰🥰🥰🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🚩🥰🚩🚩🚩🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🚩🚩 you get the gist but you know what, even though, as it is a show literally about fairies and MaGic, i had hope for them. because even through all those bad moments and fights, they always came back to each other. BUT THEN. You know in a series finalé how everything comes together. worlds are conquered, wars are won, love is saved and all that shit. WELL GUESS WHAT. FOR MY FIRST EVER SHIP, INSTEAD OF HAVING A LOVELY—IT WAS ALWAYS YOU—YOU WERE ALWAYS THE ONE—I HOPE WE CAN START OVER—I FUCKING LOVE YOU—CONFESSION, THE MAIN SHOWSTOPPER OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP IN THE  FINALÉ WAS A FREAKIN BREAK UP 😭😭😭😭😭 I just cannot believe how i ended up shipping the ONLY doomed ship in the whole show. 😭😭 But you know what, even tho the series is finished, this only gives me more hope for them. Riven, throughout the show was overly possessive and kinda controlling but cold at the same time, (for the 1st or 2nd season, he was also like the terra of the show 👀) but he went through some MAJOR character development, and in the end, HE was the one who called the break up. He knew he wasn't the best partner, and that Musa deserved someone so much better than him, and he let her go. and the break up wasn't nasty or anything. even though i was really sad, the break up was almost refreshing. both of them knew they weren't ready to be in a relationship with each other yet, so they let each other go. (the character development was truly *chef's kissss*) what I'm saying is, they're almost, imo, the perfect definition of "right person, wrong time." and i believe one day in the  future, they will have a bright future. together. (on that note, any fic recs please? 😭) and if you've reached here, omg i can't believe you're still reading!! honestly this was basically a therapy session for me 😭 Here have a cookie for being so wonderful ( ꈍᴗꈍ)//🍪

hello! firstly, a few things to say, 1: seeing your posts and general thoughts on the negan haters (that just sounds some immature in some way just because of how they act) made me think just how crude some anti-fans can be in general (not just twd). I mean, look at how some fans acted when Pedro Pascal was announced as joel! dont get me wrong, I'll excited for the role and will still watch BUT I think there could've been better options for sure (not just JDM but he was an option for me too) however, the way some fans have treated pascal or they said online about it is so horrible and crude! like fine, u can dislike something or someone but do you really have to cuss out and say bad and unnecessary shit out loud for people who dont want to hear anything about the horrible things u say?? it's just immature and horrible really.

and 2, I know in the past you've asked some of us or have even thought about movie away from TWD's plot for sake one of your series' ( I think it was the one with OC Joel but not 100% or maybe a different series or fic/multiple ones) anddd...I agree! I think what the writers of that show did with the series as IMMENSELY gone downhill and many many fans can tell, especially after negan was introduced. at first I really loved the direction they were taking negan, he always fascinated me in some within the comics too but, now seeing how things have slightly worsened kinda sucks because I truly LOVE TWD but it's gone downhill in recent years. so yeah, seeing your fics or series' moving away from the plot of TWD would be interesting and fun cause you wouldn't have to rely on certain events and just take the writing elsewhere with your own doing and choosing.

Let's see if I can hit everything up here. I think there are some seriously horrible, negative people in every fandom. Unfortunately you get that on the internet. I don't support anyone attacking any of the actors/actress/etc. or attacking real life people. My problem with the people who hate Negan is that I have seen someone who I consider one of the nicest people be told they should be raped and killed for merely just liking Negan. I've seen people use fiction as an excuse to be racist, homophobic, transphobic, to misgender people on purpose, etc. I'm assuming this is the same anonymous as before??

Pedro Pascal being cast as Joel I think was widely accepted by a lot of people because he is so damn popular. I think some people were upset because he looks nothing like Joel and even me at first I was very unaccepting of him in the role. Jeff, Nikolai, Jackman, Brolin, etc were all very popular choices. I think at first people got really pissed because you had arrogant Pedro Pascal fans (who hadn't even played the game) throwing things in the faces of people who were disappointed that even though Jeff looks EXACTLY like Joel (let's be honest, he does) and that Jeff had the same personality that anyone who though Jeff, Brolin or Jackman should be the role then they were wrong and they didn't know what they were talking about blah blah blah. You know. The shit starters. BUT, I think I've made it clear I like Pedro. He's a handsome guy. He's a decent actor. I don't think he was the best choice for Joel, but anyone being racist or a fucking asshole is...well that. An asshole. I think I've made it clear that Joel in The Guest/Arcadia is made after the video game character and someone asked me once, "Do you see Pedro as the character now?" And I was very anti that idea since in my mind Joel is this very southern, green eyed guy that has a full beard that is muscular, but at this point...if people want to picture Pedro. LET THEM. It's not my choice who people choose to see in the role and PEDRO IS JOEL on the show. They aren't casting The Last of Us according to who looks like the characters at all. So anyone being an asshole, they are just being an asshole.

The story I was actually trying NOT to follow The Walking Dead storyline with was The Mistress. Not the one with Joel. I think I have decided I will not follow The Walking Dead with that story. It may upset people, but I don't like where they are going and I'm fairly certain they are killing Negan. I've followed it long enough and I've put that family through enough torture. I don't know how the final season will go, who knows at this point? But, I'm going to attempt to write as much as I can because if they kill Negan, I'm pretty certain I'm going to stop writing in general because I'll be so disappointed. So it's better for me to get it in now as much as I can.

What's your favorite scene you've written for (sterek or otherwise) and what fic did you learn the most while writing it?

Oh my God those are such good questions!!

Favorite scene... Ii think there are three that stand out to me most, and they were both parts of extremely long passion projects, the first is from an IchiRuki fic I did many, many years ago called "From Ghoulies And Beasties" where Ichigo and Rukia are basically sent monster hunting, they literally went hunting for Bigfoot in the first or second chapter, and I loved writing the scene where they got to the hotel and started unpacking because it was kind of my "I"m really getting the chance to write this" moment because I'd been wanting to write it for a long time, and that series has so many of my personal favorite scenes in it (at one point Ichigo ends up with a baby dragon in a stroller) "From Ghoulies And Beasties" remains my personal favorite fics and so that moment that I had planned so long, wich just felt like such a great point of "This is the start something crazy and awesome" remains one of my favorites, the second that stands out is from "Tourner Dans Le Vide", the scene in one of the later chapters in Wonderland where Stiles and Derek accidentally get high at a feast, if you want a good visual representation, Florence + The Machine's "Rabbit Heart" music video is where the inspiration came from, I love writing Wonderland related things (I actually am working on an anthology series called "Book Of Alice" that are all Wonderland stories) the crazier the better, my guilty pleasure is hallucinatory nonsense writing because I can create so many pretty things without having any reason for them so getting them high in Wonderland was perfect, there wasn't only the spiffy visuals, but also, for one of the only times in Tourner Dans Le Vide, Derek and Stiles were both able to let go and just BE with eachother, TDLV was probably the most intricate, charector-heavy, plot-heavy fic I've ever written so there weren't alot of chances for me to let the two of them bond outside of intense circumstances, that scene was so incredibly light and soft and fun and focused on the romantic relationship wich I loved, and it was also another chance to showcase one of my personal favorite details from that fic- that Derek spent part of his childhood in Wonderland, wich I'm still kind of in love with the idea of, the last one that stands out is actually a scene I've written in two differen fics: Stiles killing Negan, I just... I have so much hatred and bitterness for "Last Day On Earth" and "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" (the season six finale' and season seven premiere of The Walking Dead) I spent all of last summer sick about it and to the premiere was one of the worst things I've ever watched- and one of the only things I legitimately DIDN'T "watch" and had to cover my eyes during, if you guys KNEW what Ii would give for Negan to have never been a thing.... so I've written two different fics where Stiles kills him now, saving Abe and Glenn in one and saving his pack in the other, and they were both very cathardic and releiving to write, to be honest, I still occassionally play with the idea of Stiles killing Negan a third time ;)

As for what I learned the most during... I think that depends on what definition of "learning" you go with- "learn" as in academically researching, or learn as in growing as a writer, if you go with the former it would be From Ghoulies And Beasties because I did alot of researching on not only cryptids, but on lots of weird little details too, I spent three hours once looking up dinosaurs because I was trying to find a Mossiosaur for ONE. LINE. if that gives you any example ;) As for learning as a writer... probably Tourner Dans Le Vide, I put so much heart and soul and energy into that fic and it was such an exercise in writing a truly expansive story, I don't often write subplots because I tend to keep my fics short but TDLV had subplots on top of subplots and weaving them all together, balancing them all, was a magnificent experience, it was also really a lesson in "Write for myself and not for others"- an ultimate lesson in that- because I wrote it for a Sterek Bing Bang and it ended up being a huge flop in terms of things like kudos and attention and my beta left me a few days before my due date so I had to stay up into the next day's afternoon proofing that fic because there were no pinch hitters for me at that late date, my artist very barely contacted me and to this day I hardly get any attention on it and what little I DO get is usually "I can't read this because it's not formatted :\ " The experience of writing it was AMAZING but once I was done with it it became one of the most upsetting fic related moments of my life because it had so many enormous failures, I had counted on other people to come through for me- and I had counted on people being interested enough to read it despite the formatting- that when I was left hanging I was just utterly devestated, I was angry for a wile over having spent so much time writing something that no one cared about but eventually I had to just... let that go, and it was the last time I wrote anything for anyone other than myself (technically, I had started writing a Reverse Bang called Kill Peter at the same time and it got posted after, but I digress) I love that fic, I love all of the things I put into it even if other people don't, even if other people don't get it or don't like it or think it has plot holes or bad spelling or whatever... I don't care anymore, you can hate it if you want and you can complain if you want but it's *my* fic, and *I* love it (wich is a rare thing for me to say because I generally hate my own writing) so that was the moment that I decided to stop writing in the hopes of getting attention, and I stopped signing up for events too, if I wirte for an event it'll be something like Sterek Week or Sterek Bingo that's just a self-challenge, not a Big Bang or a give away or a contest or anything because those always just make me upset and make me feel bad about my writing, and I decided to never sign up for anything that requires betas again either because I've had experiences with probably a dozen or more betas that are just... not good, I'm almost always left hanging at the last minute without my beta conacting me back and on the RARE occassion I'm not then I've had the issues like I did during this event or at one point had a beta who wanted me to change my story and just... I just stopped with it all, Tourner Dans Le Vide really set me on the writing path that I sincerely ENJOY, both with fics and with my original works, wich is: I wrote it for me, you can either take it as it is or don't take it at all, as someone who's been writing fic for around 12 years now that took a long time for me to learn and it was hard to learn but I've finally learned it and made peace with it, if you love my writing then I am so extremely happy and thankfull that you exist, but if you want to complain about it or try to change it, then I'm not interested, my writing is what it is, and I accept that it has flaws and I'm ok with that, I'd rather write something that I'M happy with than go through hell for someone else, I know that isn't really a popular opinion to have as a writer because everyone has their own ideas about how writers "should" work- in both technical skill as well as artistic choice- and I've just decided to distance myself from all of it, I'll write how I write and if you don't like it then it isn't for you, plain and simple, and that's probably the best lesson I've ever learned because now, as a professional writer who is facing much higher stakes than just publishing something for free on the internet, I really HAVE to be able to make peace with myself, I have to be able to finish something and say "Ok, it's done" and not A. Be a perfectionist about it, and B. Not let my insecurities about what someone else might like force me to change my mind about my work, if I did those two things, I'd never publish anything
