extremely intrigued by the enderdragon/enderman debate here, especially given the weird thing about how/if the dragon reproduces (it has an egg but, like the wither, can be spawned in with materials from *other* mobs, ghast tears in the dragon's case, and also, the egg only shows up when the dragon dies...an immortal jellyfish situation?)

Here's a big project I've been working on for a few weeks: a phylogenetic tree of everything in Minecraft! It would take ages to explain everything here, so if you want an explaination of any inclusions, exclusions, categorisations or Latin names PLEASE PLEASE PUHLEASE ask me I would love to answer any questions :3

#also the endermen are allergic to water. them being interdimensional beings id say they couldve evolved from something else entirely #like. i recall hearing cases of people allergic to water but it really doesnt seem conducive to existence if you need water to live #and are also harmed by it. nether creatures arguably do have access to water #since piglins trade potions which require bottles of water so like. there's that #actually from a gameplay perspective ghasts blazes endermen and the dragon should be somehow related #since the whole ghast tears rebirth the dragon + shooting fire thing + blaze powder with enderpearls (the hell even are those?? are enderme #like. a humanoid mollusk??) anyway they make the eyes to go in the end (terrible connection taxonomically i know) so...#i also raise the fact endermite are born from enderpearls BUT endermen hate their guts #btw sorry if its been asked already but are like. wardens not considered lifeforms or was this pre deep dark #could potentially the enderdragon be considered a golem due to it being possible to spawn in by the player #i want to say its on some weird scale of its own like a tardigrade or idk a platypus #oh yeah. guardians?#are they like. fish #and also phantoms are counted as undead
