you can tell i think theyre actually interesting tho because i have things to say about them other than heehee cowboy funny evil lady sexy. like woahhhh an overwatch character thats actually a memorable person with interesting traits and lore? that im invested in seeing more of? that feels like there was effort snd creativity put into more than checking boxes on a flowchart? wow...

#red.txt #sorry i rewatched the sojurn and baptiste origin videos and its like such a bummer to me #baptiste at least is a very funny and charming character to be around and is sexy but sojurn feels so sad #her origin is very nothing her lore and gameplay feel very cookie cutter and its a SHAME because she COULDVE been cool #but like even characters i personally really like like cassidy and moira and reaper and orisa #are just honestly truly not that interesting as people. their powers are cool but lorewise its very nothing #the lore in ovw is so weak that its an active detriment to most characters; placing artificial limits on who and what they can be #and making a lot of them much more stale than neccessary for the sake of Involving Them In The Lore Of Over Watch #so like you get a character like brig who is really only defined by her relationship to other characters #even cool ones like ana. its still like. most of her stuff is about how she relates to 76 or gabriel and its like. siiiiighhhs idk #i just wish they were less concerned with an Interconnected Universe and more concerned with cool stuff #like. i dont want another ninja just because she Knows hanzo and genji i want her to be her own personnnnnnnn
