so i have to keep my mom's big computer (i call it big computer but it's just a monitor with the hard drive in it, but it's a desktop and therefore bigger than my laptop) bc my brother and my's media server is attached to it, and i can't attach it to my laptop bc IT'S A LAPTOP, and the reason he brought it over here in the first place is bc he didn't have room on his desktop for it anymore, so it must! stay with me!

and i was looking at like. well overall i was looking at typewriters, first. it'd be nice to have a typewriter in general, but they're expensive, and so is the upkeep!! ribbons and stuff!! so then i was looking at keyboards, with cute little round circle keys, like a typewriter, bc i was like, well i deserve a treat. sure i've bought lipstick and hair dye and the occasional take out, but like, i do in fact deserve, a silly treat, for me, that i can tangibly see, every day. so i found a cute purple keyboard with little circle keys and a matching mouse and wrist rest and IT'S SO CUTE I LITERALLY LOVE IT SO FUCKING MUCH IT MAKES CUTE LITTLE CLATTERY KEY NOISES AND I HONESTLY WISH IT WAS ATTACHED TO MY LAPTOP BC TYPING ON IT IS SO MUCH FUCKING FUN LOOK AT THIS THING

hi!! I saw you got a new pc bc your old one couldn't handle reka and I have the same issue (with my laptop) so I was wondering if you'd feel like sharing what you got?

omg absolutely!! okay i barely understand the specs myself, but i ended up getting the hp omen 35L desktop (the processor is and AMD ryzen 7 8700g, the RAM is 16 gb, graphics card is the nvidia geforce rtx 4060 ti, and it has a 1 tb ssd). other prebuilt pc's will have intel processors, and the equivalent to what i have is the i7 core. i think the newest models are ryzen 9/ intel i9 but this model works just fine. so far it's been great and the bigger RAM size has made my laptop seem slow as molasses in comparison when running apps lmao

i will say i got it on sale as a previously opened and returned product, and idk if computer bros say it's worth the sticker price of 1500 usd-- i was advised not to pay any more than that for a pc with the specs i listed. mine was about 500 usd cheaper so it felt worth it, and my trusted advisor said this will last me years so it was a good investment for me to make anyways.

i'm pretty sure i ended up turning down reka's graphics a bit even on this pc, but it looks STUNNING still and no lag or loud fans running!!

i created this with the help of @wannabe-icy and all thanks to this ask i hope you enjoy a needy chaeryeong <3

chaeryeong wouldn't call herself needy but rather...she sees the amount of time you spend playing games and wants you to look at her sometimes instead, today was no different. after coming home from getting some lunch she finds you sitting on your gaming chair scrolling on tiktok, hearing her footsteps you turn around and see your lovely girlfriend. getting up to greet chaeryeong almost drops your soda as she sees that you're leggings have a particularly large strap on top of them. 

"i know how much i've been playing my games and chaer don't think i hear you whining earlier. i put it on and have been waiting for you to come home to help you with that little wet patch on your pants and baby i know it's not from my soda you're holding so tightly."

placing the food down in the kitchen chaeryeong immediately strips off her clothes and drags you to the living room for some long-awaited loving. "where did you even get that? i've-" kissing her lips chaeryeong can feel just how needy you have been as you kiss her sloppy. a low moan escapes her lips as she starts to grab your neck pushing you close to her and feeling the strap rub against her slit. you take the hint and position it near her entrance when your computer's discord group chat starts ringing. you ignore it and start kissing down her neck reaching her collarbone when your phone starts ringing three times in a row, annoyed you get up leaving a pouting chaeryeong, and see that the other girls have been calling you to hop on and help them on a game.

"stupid discord giving away what i was doing...chaer baby i'm so sorry i have to help them, just this once and i'll be yours for the rest of the evening." kissing your frowning girlfriend you make your way to your chair and connect to the ongoing call with the girls. "hey guys!"

arms crossed chaeryeong watches you get into the game shouting commands at your friends while she's lying on the couch needy and naked. if you weren't going to do anything then she was going to have to take measures into her own hands. your sad smile turns into a gasp as you see your lover slide herself onto your strap gripping your desk as you wait for the next battle to commence. relief washes through your body when you see that you opted to answer with your video off for the call, you give her a warning look silently telling her to behave and be patient....

but chaeyeong also has been known at times to not behave, and you should’ve known better when she started to quiet down as your screen lights up with the countdown to the match. getting used to the feeling of something so big inside her chaeryeong's small mewls are muffled against your hand as you attempt to cover her mouth but soon stop as she nibbles and sucks on it softly. you call out instructions and shift a little in your seat making her gasp at the sudden movement.

heat building up inside her she tightens her grip on your desk and starts to rock her hips back and forth feeling the strap fill her up nice and good making her gasps get louder and more frequent. the girls in the chat assume it's random background noise in the game as the enemy getting slayed by your latest battle tactic and continue playing while you do your best not to focus on chaeryeong's arched nude back and her ass jiggling against your lap. 

"ok we're going to scout the area ahead while you hang back, we'll let you know if anyone else shows up to-"

finally having a gap in the game you throw the headphones to the side and grab your needy little strap warmer heading toward your bedroom watch her body shake in confusion as her head is placed against the pillow. fingertips pressed firmly on her hips you see her shift a little and make eye contact as you give her that one look that causes goosebumps to go down her spine.

"what- b-babe i was just-" screaming out loud with chaeryeog's face pressed against the bed you take this moment and pound into her perked-up ass, her hole and loud moans begging you to stop but you don't. within seconds chaeryeong cums all over your strap and legs making you drip at the fucked-out look she has. her face scrunched up from pleasure chaeryeong's soft slow pants are replaced by the loud noise coming from your headphones.

realizing you forgot to mute yourself when you took her to bed you quickly pull out and rush to the office. leaving the call you rub her back as her legs twitch as she calms down from her high. lifting her up you mumble her sweet words and place her against the couch in the living room, shivering a bit before you grab your blanket and wrap her upper body before heading to the bathroom to get things to clean her up. 

"i'm sorry chaer i'll never let the girls interrupt our time again. i'll break my phone if i have to." a soft chuckle comes from hiding inside your blanket as she pokes her head out to nod at you.

"if it means we can have rough sex like that again i'll allow it, but um... were we muted the whole time? we were... right...??"

chaeryeong wakes up from your evening cuddles, you had gone to take a shower when she reaches for her phone you left it to charge on the table and immediately toss it to the side upon reading the messages of your friends spamming her with thirst memes and messages asking how would she rate your strap skills on a scale of 1-10.

To most people I may seem quiet and reserved but I actually really enjoy talking to people; I'm really insecure about not being funny or interesting enough tho. Around my friends I'm more relaxed but still have moments of self doubt

I can also be quite obsessive. If something really catches my interest I won't stop until I search all there is to know about it. For example I watched bnha, read the manga, the spin offs etc all in less than a month and now I'm indulging in fanart and fanfics because I need m o r e c o n t e n t hsbsb. I'm also that kind of person that listens to a new song they like on repeat until they hate it. Speaking of music, I can't say I have a taste lol. My fave genres are rock, pop and indie but I hear smth I like, I listen to it, whether its "high quality" music, basic or weird. I like expressing myself through writing, singing and dancing but I really can't say I'm talented at either of those, it's all in good fun. I also enjoy reading (fiction, non-fic books bore me like hell; my fave genres are fantasy, sci fi and crime) but I haaate literature in school. I'm actually a bit of a math nerd and this year I'm starting uni, studying computer science!! Oh! I've also taken drama classes for 2 years (despite the fear I loved being on stage and plan on starting again once I'm done w the baccalaureate), I love playing D&D and while I woulnd't quite call myself a gamer, I love role playing video games. I'm also almost always down for any kind of multiplayer video games w friends although I have no experience

I'm not a sportive person, I go on walks or do a few exercises every now and then at home but I'm willing to try stuff out like a new sport or going to the gym w an s/o. I do plan on starting self defense classes soon and maybe taking up sword fighting (I love swords hehe)

Tbh I've never been in a relationship so I'm not really sure how I would act w an s/o, nor what I'm exactly looking for. I best express my affection through physical touch tho and that includes my friends so I'd like someone who isn't bothered or can get used to that (s/o would still receive the most hugs/ cuddles etc). I'm not that comfortable w the other love languages for friends and family, but I think I'd be a lot more eager to express my love through them for s/o. “Hey babe, whatcha reading?” Sero asked sitting next to you on the sofa, he handed you a soda which you gratefully took, not looking up from your laptop screen.

As soon as he was sat down comfortably your hand grabbed his, clasping your fingers together as you managed to tear your gaze away from the Wikipedia page which was still open. You blinked up at him and shook your head.

“Oh just something I learned about today and wanted to do some.. extra reading” you explained.

He nodded his head and drank his soda watching as your face lit up as you started to ramble about the topic, he didn’t really know much about it but the way you told him about everything, the way you happily expressed your interest towards the topic made him happy. He gave you his big grin when you finished.

“Sorry, I rambled..” You felt bad, you always felt nervous when you info dumped on people.

“Nah, it’s cool, I didn’t mind at all” he brought your hand up to his face and gave it a kiss, your face flushed at the gentle gesture which caused Sero to laugh playfully.

“Well, if your sure… I just wanted something to take my mind off chores”.

“It’s the weekend, you don’t have to rush anyway.. and if you don’t feel better by tomorrow I can help, you can wash the dishes and I’ll dry?” he suggested still peppering kisses on the back of your hand before you set your laptop down and crawled closer to him.

You nodded softly, that sounded a lot more manageable, you felt your anxiety settle down from a raging nagging feeling to something easier to tolerate. He was such a good influence on you. Sero set down his drink and wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer to his chest.

“The guys want to come over and say hi later, maybe get pizza… but I can tell them not tonight if you aren’t feeling it… maybe you can play that new game you got? I liked watching you play the other night” He suggested as he nuzzled your head, enjoying how your hair felt on his face.

I'm an 02 liner and a virgo. I'm usually a quiet person when it comes to first meeting people, but when you get to know me I can become loud and rowdy while I still have my quiet nature. When it comes to close friends I'm low key abusive (I like to playfully hit people a lot, it's mostly to my guy friends lol) but I am someone who will put your needs and care for you first before myself. Most of my friends tell me that when they first met me I am intimidating or I look very serious. My friend group in general is kinda small, as it's a bit harder for me to keep long lasting friendships.

I am the type of person who is always interested in taking up new information on things I am deeply interested about (i.e. skincare, video games, etc.). Personally I am not a gamer myself but I do like watching others game and my knowledge on games is extensive. If you ask me about information on something I know really well, we could possibly go into a very deep conversation.

I am a writer and a dancer, and I am slowly trying to ease myself more into fashion as well. As a writer, it takes a while for me to finish something as writers block is always common for me. I am also into graphics arts and I like creating new designs on the computer that is influenced by my family's culture.

A downside I would say about me though is that I don't open up about my feelings very much. I keep it to myself a lot and it's hard for me to express to anyone about what I'm feeling at all.

Happy gen 4 remake day anyway y'all go read my fav fanfic ever, a 545k pokemon fic called Pedestal. It's probably up there in my top 10 books of all time just bc of how much it meant to me at a time I really needed it and I would say it still holds up pretty well.

Hey gamers since everyone's talking about security & I fix computers for a living I wanna make a post about PGP encryption, why you should be using it for anything you want private, a bit about how it works, and hopefully a good starting place for using it to encrypt your own stuff.

*To avoid tumblr's hatred of links, I will be reblogging this with a few links after posting that may be mentioned, but you can get through the whole thing without reading any of them if you wanna go back for them later.

Most people think of encryption as a lock and a key; you give someone the key at some point, and then later when you need something unlocked by only them and you you lock it with the key that they use to open it. That's fairly useful for things like WiFi where it isn't really the end of the world if you're a little careless, but for some correspondence it just isn't enough.

Along comes PGP.

See, most encryption is of a type called Symmetric encryption, where one key is shared by the sender and recipient to both encrypt and decrypt data, but PGP works completely differently using something called Asymmetric Public Key encryption.

Asymmetric Public Key encryption is a system in which rather than having one key for every lock, every user has two keys for them: a private one that they never give to anyone else, and a public one that they give to as many other people as they can. Any time they want to lock up a message for someone, they create a new lock that is locked with the recipient's public key.

Through some dark, arcane magic involving prime numbers and algebra that I invite the reader to pursue on their own if they really want to know how it works [1], this process generates a lock that, while locked with these two keys, can crucially only be unlocked using the receiver's private key!

This obviously has a few uses. Number one, you can encrypt a message to someone very easily in such a way that there is no way anyone else (even you or someone who steals your computer) can ever open again, and due to how complicated these private keys are there's next to no chance of a brute force decryption.

Number two, you can sign messages to other users to prove that you are actually the originator of the message, in such a way that it's nigh impossible to fake without actually getting ahold of a user's private key. This can be used to verify nobody is impersonating you in an online space or to verify a message, even unencrypted, is coming from who you need it to come from.

There's always the issue of trust, of course. How do you know you're actually getting the public key of who you need to send things to? Well, for that there is the trust system.

There exist large-scale databases of public keys [2] that can be browsed, fetched, queried, and submitted to that work to help you trust that you are talking to who you need to, and furthermore if you trust a public key you can generate what is effectively a document that says "I trust you are you" with your private key and submit it to one of these databases.

Alternatively, you can always trust a trusted friend of a trusted friend of a trusted colleague of a trusted blah blah blah and so the web of trust is constructed.

Finally, there are a few more minor things I want to add.

i'm saving up to build my own pc (although I'll need to ask my partner to help me bc im paranoid I'll break something 😅) i play a lot of pc games so it's a really powerful computer i'm looking for 💔 the laptop i have at the moment can't run any of my games anymore except from one game 😭😭😭 i have the programs still downloaded. i tried to find other programs to try and make gifs but i was too shy to ask anyone bc I think most cc use the same program 💚

red heeseung has me simping v hard, i woke up to feed the cats, saw the photo and was like 😭😍😭😍😭😍😭😍😭😍 jake really suits the blonde though!!! 💜

i think everyone would say photoshop tbh hsjhds idk if there's any other program for gif coloring that works like ps. though for graphics i used to also use 'gimp' i think it's lighter than ps. i don't suggest making gifs there though ;-; i tried it before and like idk if there's a technique i was missing on but it was so hard i had to like repeat every action one by one for each frame and the quality of the final gif is so bad hshjds.

anyway, i've also been wanting to buy a gaming laptop / pc bc it's heavy duty lol. just want one bc it is heavy duty, i don't usually play games on laptop, i'm more of a phone gamer ;u; (before. i don't play much anymore but like i loved playing shooting games hahaha like battlegrounds and call of duty sjjsjsj now i miss playing ;-;)

ALSO!!! i never thought red heeseung would look so good ,tbh i actually never imagined that kind of red on him. i could imagine like dark red or brown red / mahogany (?) before but like his hair is kinda light / scarlet-ish but like ?!?! he looks so good??! still simping over jake's long blonde though hshhdhsh
