#like… torpe event/phoenix event/bakuno event all have him doing this

See I’ll never really buy any instance of ppl making tsukasa just throw his hands up at a problem and be like “there’s nothing I can do” relating to him accomplishing his goals because he’s much more likely to ram his head up against an unsolvable problem until he brute forces a solution & he dislikes any quick fix/easy path that doesn’t require genuine effort. Like. That’s kind of the focus of most of his events, no? Him being very determined and very hard working are two of his defining traits.
#tsukasa#mine#I could probably talk abt this more but I’m tired#like… torpe event/phoenix event/bakuno event all have him doing this#he did it in his pandemonium card story too.#ig you could say he gave up in ohe but that’s more of a ‘respecting emu’s choice’ kind of thing#& there are examples that could be pulled from curtain call/wonder halloween/wms etc abt him not wanting to take the easy path

Saw someone say every tsukasa event but WMS is him struggling with a role and ghosting wxs which.
1) Tsukasa’s goal has always been to become a great actor and to do that he has to struggle and overcome a challenge around acting. He’s learning. This has always been what his arc is about in unit events. What else would they focus on if not acting. WMS was the exception to move the plot forward and to show off character growth. It’s the same reason why nene events are about her improving her singing skills with the exception of island panic showcasing character growth/foreshadowing future problems for wxs.
Unlike Rui, who had to overcome his hangups around friendship & realize that he values wxs over the short path to achieving his goals (wonder halloween, RMD, curtain call) before starting to move into the events about improving his directing skills (BLLF), or Emu who had to overcome issues centered around being open/PXL/was kind of the driving force behind the PXL plot (SOAD, PIMH, gleaming stars, OHE) and is only now focusing more on acting (emu5), tsukasa doesn’t really have a major issue unrelated to acting that they can center an entire unit event around.
The only thing I can really think of would just be them going over his childhood which they already did with the torpe event/doll festival. They don’t need to do it again. Or maybe something related to wxs disbanding but this is the first rotation after OHE I think it’s a little early to go back to that. What else would they focus on in a unit event if not struggles with acting. I’m open to colopale surprising me and focusing on something else but I doubt they’re gonna shift like that in tsukasa 5.
2) he doesn’t ghost wxs in Phoenix or tsukasa 4..? He accepts help from wxs in both events?? Especially Phoenix. like. His breakthrough in Phoenix literally happens when everyone is there (Talking with wxs and the vocaloids in the sekai -> going to see amami seiichi with wxs). He calls rui and asks for help in a card story. Emu+nene+rui are there at all the practices. What are u talking abt.
Wxs are also there in tsukasa 4 even if he’s primarily learning from bakuno. This is because he needs to learn from outside sources. emu+nene can’t really help him on the acting front, and while rui can help, he also lacks the experience/specific knowledge an actor would have that Tsukasa needs.
#mine#tsukasa#like what do u want from him. what else would he be doing.#I think it would be interesting to see him learn to cope w failure or something but. again. that’s still acting related.
