It makes me laugh how Cellbit and Roier, despite being really good friends, if they are playing something together like for example among us, THEY STILL CALL THEMSELVES WITH THE SAME NICKNAMES THEY HAVE ON THE QSMP.
And also rp as a married couple even out of the server.

Year End Wrap Up 12signs
Happy New Year✨✨✨
My new year resolution is to live every day of this year with love and hope.
I will get distracted in the way for sure but I’ll make sure to be kind to myself.
This is the thank you post for every sign.(or maybe a little shady lol)
Ofc I don’t have 12 best friends but some of the strangers that I got to know online were so kind to me even though we had never talked.
So here I am being so grateful for the unconditional encounter of my life.
Happy Jupiter in Pisces though Im a little late. ❤
To Virgo
You are the go-to person when I get lost in my hometown.
This Scorpio doesn’t remember something they’re not interested in.
Also thank you for scolding and guiding me at the same time.
Maybe because you rule 6H of routine, you remember all the street names and the alternate routes in case there’s a traffic jam.
I only remember the names of the places I like to go.
To Leo
You always scare me when you talk.
Please give me a waring before you yell out a fact.
Also if possible, don’t get drunk.
It feels so weird to see a lion twerking.
I sometimes think I could blackmail you with those picture you took of yourself with my phone when u were drunk.
To Cancer
How can you treat people like u r their mother and cry like a baby at the same time?
How can you still be a water sign if you cannot tell if im mad at you or not?
And also don’t say things like “YOU WERE MAD AT ME???” with that innocent face only after we have made up.
Again please don’t give a second or third chance to those motherfuckers without telling me.
You are literally torturing me when you says “oh! that girl? I told her it was only 100 bucks and I even lent her another 20.”
To Aries
Every time you go out without planning anything, it freaks me out.
Your normal voice is literally a scream for me
I get scared when you get angry and also stop cursing random people online.
But in the end you are the one who would shamelessly argue with a 10 year old for queue-jumping when I was just standing still processing what happened.
You are also a go-to guy for making appointments for this Pisces Mars.
To Gemini
First of all, stop showing off your knowledge.
Reduce your speed of talking as well. Im a bit deaf.
Everybody judges you being a talking-all-the-time person but they don’t know you are also a very good listener.
Thank you for listening to me patiently when Im having an existential crisis.
You know what? if you are a party host, I’ll be the one who would be standing in a corner somewhere.
Thank you for introducing me to new people when Im overthinking to start a conversation.
To Aquarius
Why does it seem normal for you to say yes to everything I request?
Drop me off at the cafe if you are going out somewhere.
Give this to my friend if you meet them.
Pick my packages if you get the chance.
I mean do you even understand the word “IF”?
You don’t have to necessarily do that.
Although sometimes, you bluntly give me weird excuses like you are having a date with your newly-bought electronic device or learning some weird subjects that nobody has ever heard of.
I feel so weird when you are trying to act cool.
To Sagittarius
Please act like you don’t know me in public places.
Your 9H energy freaks me out whenever you laugh.
How can you be out all night and still keeping that crazy energy?
Also don’t you have ears? Because whenever you r up to something, you go deaf mode.  You can’t hear me yelling “THAT’S A CRAZY IDEA!!!”.
How can you flirt with every guy you meet?
You terrified me when you told your mom you were going out with me but in reality I had to third-wheel your date.
And this is the last time I tell you, stop sending me memes at 2 am every night.
To Taurus
You are everything I want to be.
My ideal person is you.
You are so down-to-earth and stable all the time.
To me, you are nicer than a Cancer.
Even though you don’t effing say how you feel, you’re still a human.
Stop fucking suppressing your emotions.
Don’t say things like “IT’S OK, EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN LIFE GOING ON, IM JUST FEELING A BIT........”
A BIT??????
Stop trying to solve everything on your own, you idiot.
I think I will win the lottery the day you say “I NEED YOUR HELP”.
To Pisces
You also need help, you little kind-to-everyone fish.
You tell me you get bullied.
I tell you to call me next time when they come to you.
The next time, you call me only after you get bullied again.
Are you that dumb or do you just want to drive me crazy?
I go nuts every time you tell me about your day.
You might be so happy to let everyone take granted for your kindness.
But I don’t. Thank god I only have Pisces Mars n my other placements r mean.
YOU stop that kindness to wrong people right away.
To Libra
Here we go again talking about how to think for yourselves.
I wish you get married to an Aries and get your freaking scales destroyed.
You are diplomatic and beautiful at the same time. Congratulations.
But you know sometimes, you have to be the first one to choose something.
Don’t say “I’LL TAKE THE LAST ONE LEFT”
I also hate the fact that you look good in everything u wear and the way you can talk like a Miss Universe.
To Capricorn
You act like you don’t feel any kind of emotions but I know for a fact that you just don’t like to express it.
Your way of telling ppl that you care is helping them achieving what they want in their life.
But people ask you to say those clingy words that you are not comfortable to say, don’t they?
I understand. You can show your love in your own way.
I know it’s hard when there are ppl appreciating Cancer’s way of showing affection.
Still, thank you for being yourself.
See? I understand you.
So stop telling yourself, you would rather be alone with millions of dollars in ur bank account than getting to know people deeply.
To Scorpio
You are doing great.
Thank you for being yourself.
This is short cuz Im writing this to myself.

Trish put the last dish away and wiped her forehead with the back of her hand, her long brown hair done in a bun to keep out of the way of her job. With the last customers out the door and the dishes all done, her shift was ended. Her blue eyes went to the clock and she noted how late it was. Maybe after she got home and showered, she would read a book until she fell asleep. Someone patted her shoulder making her look. Her friend and coworker, Stephanie, gave her a smirk. Stephanie had blonde hair done in a pixie cut. Her green eyes sparkled as she smiled at her friend.
“Hey! So, any plans tonight? Me and the guys are going to go get drinks over at Lucky’s Tavern, want to come?” Stephanie asked this of Trish every time they worked together and Trish had yet to agree. After the first couple times, she had gone with the blonde, but after that, she felt like a third wheel and quit going.
“Sorry, no, I have some chores at home to get done.” Trish replied, drying her hands. Stephanie pouted at her answer and Trish knew what was coming next. It wasn’t that she didn’t like Stephanie’s company, it was just every time she went out, she felt out of place.
“Come on. You’ll have a lot of fun. You always say ‘no’ but this time, I’m MAKING you come with me! Maybe you’ll meet a nice guy and hit it off? Come on, Trish, you’re in that apartment all by yourself and it’s just sad you aren’t enjoying life like the rest of us!” Stephanie argued. Trish sighed, knowing the other girl had a point. Maybe one drink wouldn’t hurt.
“Fine. One drink.” Stephanie cheered and hugged her.
“Yes! You’re the best! Hurry! Let’s go get ready!” Stephanie said and tugged Trish after her. Trish followed the blonde to the bathroom where she used a paper towel to wipe her face off. She had never been one for make-up and times like these, she was grateful for it. Maybe tonight she could forget everything else going on. Maybe tonight would be a turning point.
After everything was finished and locked up, Trish followed Stephanie to a cab. At the tavern, Trish followed her friend to the bar and watched her flirt with their male coworkers. Trish really didn’t care though. None of them were her type anyway. She finished her drink and watched as Stephanie and the boys talked, feeling like it wouldn’t have mattered if she came or not. The other patrons of the bar seemed fixated on their companions and Trish felt very out of place.
A small part of her wondered if Stephanie invited her out of guilt. Because Trish didn’t fit in very well, she distanced herself from everyone else. Stephanie had made it her goal to include Trish in other things, but Trish couldn’t help but feel as though it was forced. Trish knew that the blonde would deny it if she asked, but deep down, she knew Stephanie was only being kind to her.
Once her drink was paid for, Trish quietly slipped away and called a cab to go home, not noticing the man with two different colored eyes watching her. As the city passed by the window, she couldn’t help but feel like she didn’t belong. The world had been against her from day one and no matter how hard she tried to fight it, she was losing the battle. After her accident a year ago, she felt even more cut off. All the dreams she had for herself had gone up in smoke since she moved here. Her confidence shattered, she had taken a job as a waitress at the local restaurant. Sometimes, however, her job needed her to do the dishes since the manager refused to hire a dishwasher. All the waitresses took shifts washing them, but it cut into their tips.
Once she was home, Trish paid the cab and went upstairs to her apartment. Her empty apartment. She had been engaged at one time, but after Trish caught him cheating with a coworker, she had kicked him out and ended the engagement. After her accident, she hadn’t had much interest in finding someone new. For a time, she thought of getting a pet of some kind, but with all the hours she put in at work, she didn’t have time to care for it.
“It was definitely a mistake going out.” She muttered as she kicked off her shoes. As if she didn’t already feel awful enough, the thoughts of jealousy crept in. Stephanie had guys fawning over her hand and foot while Trish was just there. Even though she didn’t want to find anyone, she still missed being flirted with. Her life was insignificant compared to those around her and anymore she was starting to accept it. She felt as though she were a burden on those around her so she did everything she could to avoid contact. Letting out a heavy sigh, she went to her bathroom to clean up. She showered and redressed in a t-shirt and gray sweatpants before grabbing her depression meds and heading to the kitchen.
“Just great.” She muttered as she gazed at her expired milk. Now how was she going to take her meds? The tap water was too metallic to her. She could skip, but this would be the second day she hadn’t taken them. Giving a sigh of defeat, she grabbed her wallet, changed to a long-sleeved shirt, and slipped her shoes back on. Her hand reached for the knob, but she stopped, getting the sense that she was no longer alone. The hair on her neck raised and instantly she knew something was wrong. Before she had time to turn around however, she was grabbed from behind and knocked out, her wallet and keys dropping on the floor.

Vergil stood on the top of Temen-ni-gru, Yamato clutched tightly in his hands. Arkham was late and he was losing patience. They had almost everything they needed, but Arkham had said he needed to retrieve one more key before they could unleash the power of Sparda, Vergil’s father.
Arkham had come to him several weeks ago when Vergil had been in the library looking through old legends. Vergil hadn’t trusted the man then, but his insight into gaining the power of his father intrigued him. Perhaps Arkham could be useful to him, at least that’s what Vergil hoped. So far, everything he had said had been true and if it all went well, Vergil would have more power than he could imagine. Footsteps met his ears and Vergil looked over his shoulder.
“Arkham, did you get what we needed?” Vergil asked.
“Indeed, I did.” Arkham replied, tossing Trish onto the ground. Trish came to and held her throbbing head as Vergil turned and raised an eyebrow.
“A woman?” Vergil asked and Arkham nodded. Trish heard the voice and sat up, trying to remember everything that happened. Slowly piecing it all together through the cobwebs in her brain
“We will require quite a bit of human blood to unlock the seal so I brought a sacrifice.” Arkham responded. A sacrifice? Everything clicked together and Trish’s eyes widened. That’s right! She had been taken, but how had he gotten in? Her blue eyes looked up into the silver eyes of Vergil and she felt her heart skip a beat.
“She won’t be missed. I’ve watched her all day, she has little to no connection to those around her.” Trish felt fury at his words, but also pain as she knew they were true.
“It won’t matter if she had connections or not. Anyone who came looking for her would only end up dead.” Trish felt a cold chill rush through her. What was going on? Where was she? A demon sprang up behind Vergil and howled. It’s face and hands were skeletal, one of the sockets was empty, but the other glowed with a blue light. Its black robes flowed about it and Trish was reminded of a grim reaper. The demon seemed to be groveling to Vergil, but he wasn’t paying attention to it. Instead, his eyes were focused on the woman kneeling before him.
“What is your name, woman?” He asked.
“Trish. Trish Uesugi.” Trish answered and the demon behind Vergil groaned. Quick as a flash, Vergil had drawn his sword, twirled it, then sliced it down. The demon behind him jerked and quit making any noise as Vergil slowly sheathed his sword once more. Once it clicked into place, the demon fell apart behind him. Trish’s eyes widened as she watched the pieces fall off the tower, Vergil’s eyes never leaving her. He used the end of Yamato to turn her head towards him again, his eyes locked with hers.
“Trish, you are going to be our sacrifice. I need the power of my father, Sparda, and I need your blood to do it. As you can see, I have no reservations of killing. Don’t try to run away, you won’t get very far. I need your blood, I don’t need you in pristine condition to make that happen.” Vergil warned. He expected fear or sadness at his words, maybe even resignation, but was surprised when he saw none. Instead, he saw relief and this piqued his curiosity.
“I understand. I won’t run.” Trish said and Vergil nodded.
“Now, we wait. There is one final piece I need to unlock the seal and my brother is bringing it. Relish in these last few hours, they will be your last.” Vergil said and turned to overlook the city once more. Trish slowly got to her feet and looked out, not recognizing the city at all. Just how far had she come? It must’ve been quite a ways since the sun was just starting to set and the lights of the city were coming on. But despite the view and the many questions she had, she couldn’t help but smile. Finally. Finally, the pain would end.
Finally, she could die.

sweet lies // gang fic pt. 1
"i can't believe im going to be the third wheel, again!" hwayoung complained as she slipped her heels on and threw a light coat on her bare shoulders, untucking her hair out from under it and huffing.
"hey technically you won't be a third wheel the entire time, jisung said he'd introduce you to his friend who's throwing the party if you're interested." soomin replied, putting her masquerade mask on.
"how do i look?"
"sexy." hwayoung purred, making soomin crack up.
hwayoung then put her masquerade mask on and struck a pose, making eye contact with soomin.
"how about me?"
"eh." soomin shrugged, acting indifferent.
hwayoung gasped dramatically.
"i'm only kidding, you're a big dad." soomin joked.
hwayoung smiled and wiggled her eyebrows.
"now that's what i like to hear."
before the two could crack any more jokes the doorbell rang, signaling that soomin's boyfriend was here to pick them up and drive them over to the masquerade party his friend was throwing at a fancy hotel, seemingly for no other reason than he could.
soomin answered the door and flashed her boyfriend a big smile.
"you're here!" she said enthusiastically, eyeing him up and down before speaking again. "right on time."
jisung flashed hwayoung a friendly smile before smiling lovingly at his longtime girlfriend soomin.
"i sure am," he said before taking his masquerade mask out of his pocket and putting it on.
"now," he said, adjusting his watch, "should we get going?" he asked.
soomin nodded and walked out of the front door, linking arms with jisung before beginning to walk down the steps of her and hwayoung's apartment to where jisung's car was parked.
hwayoung sighed and followed after them, being sure to turn the lights off and lock the door.
once she reached the car the two lovebirds were already inside so she climbed into the backseat and mentally prepared herself for what was about to unfold.
for nearly twenty minutes hwayoung endured hearing soomin and jisung aggressively flirt with each other, as well as soomin freaking out about jisung putting his hand on her thigh, which made hwayoung laugh a bit.
they were quite a cute couple, at least that's what hwayoung thought.
"finally we're here," hwayoung said, almost as if she were out of breath as she climbed out of the back of jisung's car, taking in the sight of the fancy hotel not far from where they were currently parked.
"oh please it wasn't even that long of a drive." soomin replied, getting out of the passenger's side of the car as jisung held the door open for her.
"maybe for you." hwayoung joked, causing soomin and jisung to chuckle.
as soon as the three of them walked into the party room of the hotel, soomin and jisung hand in hand and hwayoung walking slightly behind them, their noses were filled with the scent of heavy alcohol.
"hell yeah!" soomin exclaimed excitedly, pumping her fists up into the air as she took in the atmosphere, causing jisung to laugh and pump his fists into the air.
"I'm going to go look for my friend so I can introduce him to hwayoung, then we can get some drinks, sound good princess?" jisung asked soomin.
she nodded and blushed at the nickname, blushing even harder when jisung pecked her lightly on the cheek before disappearing into a crowd of masked people all bumping against each other, drinks in hand.
soomin turned to face hwayoung with the biggest grin imaginable on her face.
"isn't this great?" soomin asked, nearly shouting so hwayoung could hear her over the loud music.
hwayoung nodded and smiled slightly.
"it's been a while since we've gone out together, I've missed it," hwayoung replied.
"it has." soomin said with a tinge of sadness laced in her voice.
"i've been going out with jisung so much lately and you, well, you're not dating sooyoung anymore but when you were we hardly ever saw each other."
"yeah," hwayoung said softly.
"oh sorry, I forgot about the no more mentioning the breakup thing." soomin explained.
"no it's okay, I'm over her."
soomin smiled comfortingly at hwayoung.
"that's good I mean, you can do better than her so."
hwayoung chuckled and smiled back at soomin.
"i guess so huh?" she asked, followed by a nod from soomin.
suddenly jisung appeared out from the huge crowd of people with a taller man following behind him.
once they reached where soomin and hwayoung were standing jisung introduced the man to the two of them, mainly hwayoung since soomin had more of an idea as to who he was since she'd heard about him a few times before.
after everyone had been introduced jisung slung his arm around soomin and whispered something in her ear before disappearing with her to go get drinks- at least that's what hwayoung assumed.
hwayoung sighed and watched the two walk away until they were out of sight, that's when she felt jisung's friend youngho move slightly closer to her and slowly raise his arm, stopping once she turned around to face him.
"could you show me what you look like under that mask?" she asked, squinting her eyes at him.
he had a familiar voice and she was curious as to whether or not she'd seen him before somewhere.
youngho cleared his throat before speaking.
"i suppose i could show you." he said before grabbing a hold of hwayoung's hand and beginning to walk somewhere, taking her with him.
on the way to wherever youngho was taking her, hwayoung spotted soomin sitting with jisung at the bar and as soon as soomin made eye contact with her she winked and shot her finger guns to which hwayoung laughed and shook her head.
"you know you could've just asked me to follow you." hwayoung said once they finally stopped walking. they seemed to be in a closed off corner of the party room where there were very few people.
"if i take off my mask and show you what i look like could you by any chance take of your mask too?" youngho asked, ignoring her previous statement.
"depends." she replied.
"on what?"
"if ive seen you before or not."
"and if you have?"
"then no."
youngho sighed before shrugging his broad shoulder and reaching up to unmask himself.
once his mask was off he ran his fingers through his hair and hwayoung's jaw dropped.
she had definitely seen him somewhere before, but she couldn't pinpoint where.
she squinted her eyes and took a step closer to him, staring at his facial features very intently.
"i definitely do recognize you from somewhere." hwayoung whispered quietly, slowly reaching up to touch his face.
youngho stopped her halfway by reaching up to hold her hand.
hwayoung felt her heart beat quicken and she immediately let go of his hand.
"i need to go use the restroom." she peeped out before ducking into the crowd and running out of the part room.
he stood there in awe for a few seconds until he saw a few men leave the party room as well, walking in the same direction hwayoung was walking in which gave him an odd feeling.
he immediately began to speed walk to the door of the party room to go make sure the men weren't trying to do anything to hwayoung.
as soon as hwayoung left the party room she realized she had no clue as to where the bathrooms were, she just knew she needed to get away from everything for a moment so that waa what she did.
she continued to walk until she reached a dead end, and at that point she realized she had been hearing footsteps behind her for quite some time.
she slowly turned around to see three masked men staring at her.
"uh h-hi?" she stuttered.
silence.
"do you guys know where the bathrooms are?" she asked nervously, backing herself into the corner.
"grab her." the guy in the middle commanded.
"im sorry wha-"
before hwayoung could finish her question the two men lunged at her and she let out a loud scream, only to have her mouth covered immediately after.
she tried to wriggle herself out of the grips of the two men but was unsuccessful and very scared about what they were going to do with her until she heard frantic footsteps approaching her and the men.
she heard the trigger of a gun click and her eyes widened, she began screaming and biting away at the large hand squeezing her mouth.
a shot fired, and another, and another, suddenly the men let go of her and she was on the ground, blood pooling around her.
she looked up to see youngho standing over her with a gun in his hand and immediately passed out from the shock of seeing him as well as having other people's blood touching her.
"shit…" youngho muttered under his breath as soon as he saw hwayoung's head hit the ground.
he quickly concealed his gun in his pocket and whipped out his phone, dialing jisung's phone number and tapping his foot on the ground as he waited for him to pick up while also trying to kick the bodies of the men out of sight.
he didn't know if they were dead and he didn't care, as long as they were out cold for now.
finally, jisung picked up and youngho was quick to speak.
"jisung, we have a problem."

Trust | Montgomery De La Cruz | Part 2
Tumblr media
Summary: Reader was having a normal morning until someone decided to pull a stupid prank
Warning: None
Montgomery De La Cruz x Reader
Its been about 2 months since you broke up with Montgomery and you had no intention on getting back together with him.
Everything seemed so better, you got to wear your favorite perfume that Monty told you sent like shit, and dress, shirt, or shorts you want without him yelling at you about ‘walking about with you ass half out’.
But like everything there was a bad side Monty had been calling and texting you almost nonstop half of which were happening while he was drunk, he ever showed up at your house one night thank god your parents weren’t home, having to sleep alone with no one to cuddle with even though Montgomery was cheating on you he held you so close to him at night that he might have thought you would evaporate if he didn’t.
You also started to notice him getting into more fights at school or coming to school with bruises that weren’t there the day before leaving you to conclude that he had been sleeping at home most nights.
The bell had just rang for third period while you were on your way to ap history when a hand went over you mouth and one around your waist. You start to kick but soon after your feet are restrained as well.
When you finally set down you look around and your surrounded by guys in the middle of the boys locker room.
As you survey the faces of your attackers you realize it none other than the Liberty High baseball team.
“Thanks I’ve alway wanted to know what it felt like to be kidnapped.” You said sarcastically but still with and uneasy feeling as you knew what most of the baseball team were into. “I guess I can also say I know how Natalie Greendale felt at Sheri’s party.” You joked with a small laugh once you realized no one else was laughing you kept quiet....of a while.
“OKAY WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE?!?” You yelled.
“Well explain in a minute just calm down.” Zach said.
“No zach I’m not gonna calm down in a room full of high school male and not a witness in sight.” I sneered.
“What do you think we’re gonna do Y/N?” Bryce asked taking a step closer to you.
“I don’t know Bryce you tell me, but I do know that if you don’t back the fuck up it will be the last think you do.” You replied.
“Alright let’s all calm down here.” You turn at a new voice entering the locker room.
“We’re all calm here coach.” Bryce says taking a few steps back.
“No were not I was just kidnapped.” You interjected.
“Look we’re sorry about that we just needed to talk to you.” Scott explained.
“And ‘hey Y/N.’ Wasn’t gonna workout for you?” You asked rolling your eyes.
“We didnt think you would listen if you knew what it was about.” Zach said making you have him a look to tell him to continue. “Monty.”
“Oh hell no.” You said turning on your heels and heading towards the door, only to find you path blocked by no less than 7 males.
“Hey Y/N, is it? Monty is one of the best guys on this team and as of late it’s been showing in his preformance on the field that something is off with him.” Coach spoke up. “And according to the team this all happened when you guys broke up.”
“Still not seeing what this has to do with me.” You interrupted.
“Look I’ve seen you around school with Monty and at the games in the stands cheering him on and you two seemed like a pretty solid pair and you don’t want one little fight to ruin that do you?” He asked condescendingly.
“Uh coach.” A random member started. “He was cheating on her for almost a month.”
“And that’s awful but everybody makes mistakes.” Bryce replied.
“Yeah and im not putting up with his ‘mistakes’ anymore.” You snapped. “I had to come to school everyday and see the girl my boyfriend was fucking behind my back, see them talking and flirting and act like I didn’t know anything so I don’t look like the crazy jealous girlfriend! For 3 week he looked me in my eye and lied to me and then had the nerve to accuse me of cheating and call me a slut!” You yelled causing half the team to flinch.
“Look no one ever said Monty was smart, but i since you dumped is ass he’s had a hair trigger and if he gets into anymore fights porters gonna bench him for the rest of the season, not that it matters is playing has sucked.” Scott quickly got to the point seeing you were running out of patience.
“I never asked him to be smart Scott I just wanted him to be loyal, or is that too much to ask from you people. You know if the roles were reversed I’d be slut-shamed out of the school, but when a guy does it we’re just expected to forgive him?! Well fuck you! I’d say fuck Monty but I’m sure someone is already on that now either you let me out of this damn room or I’m gonn a start screaming rape at the top of my lungs not that that would be beyond any of you!” You shout. “No offense Zach, Scott.” You said becoming a little calmer.
“All good.” Zach said at the same time Scott replied with a “no problem.”
After you exited the locker loom you went straight to class but you couldn’t focus on anything that was happening your thoughts were only on Montgomery.
Was he really that upset about your break up?
Of course not he wasn’t thinking about you when he was screwing Natalie.
But the team needs him.
So what has the team ever done for you?
Everyone deserves a second chance.
He had a second chance the first time he slept with her, the chance to come clean and never do it again but he wanted to her more than he cared about you.
Thoughts like these were floating though your head the whole day. Finally it was time to go home when you were trying to make your way to the door but a huge crowd was blocking your exit.
“I’m gonna beat your fucking as Adams!” You hear a familiar voice from the core of the mob.
“What the fucks your problem all I’m saying is it not my fault you cheated on your girl and got caught.”someone replied.
As you pushed your way through the crowed you saw just what you expected to see and angry Montgomery. What you didn’t expect was to see the face of the Asshole jock the tried to suck your face.
You felt a presence beside you causing you to look and come face to face with Bryce walker.
“What Walker?” You sighed.
“Nothing just wondering if your gonna let this happen?” He asked gesturing towards Monty.
“I’m not letting anything happen, this has nothing to do with me.” You replied.
“Yeah your probably right. But it’s no secret Monty has been looking for a reason to beat Adams to a pulp, and when he’s does there will be no more baseball he could miss the chance at a scout. Not to mention his dad will hear about it as we both know how that’s gonna end assuming no one presses charges and sends mont straight to jail, but yeah completely out of your hands it’s not like you could stop it or anything.” He went on and on.
Taking off your backpack and trusting to towards him which he takes.
“I hate you.” You say before walking to stand between Monty and Adams.
“Y/N what are you doing? Move.” Monty said still staring down the boy behind you who once you looked at him realized how scared he was. He knew he fucked up and that once Monty started it would take a lot for him to stop.
“Monty no.” You said holding you hand out keeping him from coming forward. “Think about this, even if you beat him up now what’s gonna happen to you after?” You asked.
“I don’t care.” He gritted out.
“I do Montgomery look at me.” You order but you demand went ignored.
You move closer to him and put your hand on either side of his face and gently guilt it down to the level of your eyes.
“Look at me.” You say softly as he finally submits. “I’m willing to talk about us Monty but you have to prove to me it’s worth it. Please just come with me and walk away. Please.” You quietly beg.
He started into your eyes for what seemed like forever.
“Fine.” Said causing you to let out a sigh of relief. You glance over to Bryce and nod.
“Alright, alright folks nothing to see here clear out!” He said starting to wave people off.
Once the group had dispersed Bryce had returned your bag to you and reminded Monty about having practice before the game tonight.
“Okay let’s go talk.” He said reaching for your wrist. You move slightly out of his reach.
“Not now Montgomery.” You replied.
“But you said.” He started.
“And we will, but you heard Bryce you have practice and a game. We can talk after.” You clarify.
“Your coming to my game?” Monty asked. You didn’t miss the joy fill his eyes as he waited for your answer.
“Yeah I’ll be there.” You say bitting your lips.
“Okay that’s great.” He exclaimed. Before you could stop him he quickly pecked you on your lips. “Oh I’m sorry.” He said once he realized what he didn’t.
“It’s fine, but just because I’m willing to talk doesn’t mean we’re getting back together.” You clarify.
“I know but if you do get back together I promise I’ll treat you like the angel you always were to me.” He said.
“You should go you have a game to win.” You said with a small smile.
“Yeah I’ll see you later.” He said walking backwards as if when he turned around you would disappear.
“I’ll see you later.” You said turning to walk away.
Once you got you your car you sat there staring straight forward.
“What the hell am I gonna do.” You said dropping your head down into the steering wheel a little too hard.
“Ow.” You quietly wined rubbing your forehead.

“Do I look okay?” your sister Jen asked for the 100th time from the backseat of your mother’s car. You rolled your eyes, not even bothering to look at her.
“You look great, Jen,” you replied.
“You didn’t even look!” she cried.
For perhaps the third time you spun yourself around to take a look at your sister who was all dolled up and ready for the Snow ball.
“You look beautiful, now stop asking and stop touching your hair,” you slapped her hand away lightly, she flinched and grumbled. You knew she had a crush on one of the boys there, she just wouldn’t tell you who it was. But by how nervous she was, and how she was acting, you knew what was bothering her.
“Hey...whoever this boy you’re crushing over...he’s gonna think you’re the most beautiful girl in the room okay? And he’s going to ask you to dance,” you said, fixing her hair for her. Jen blushed.
“And if he doesn’t?”
You scoffed, “Then he’s a damn idiot, and you’re too good for him,” Jen let out a laugh. Your mother glanced at you two before pulling up in front of the school, behind another car who was dropping off their kid.
Unfortunately for you, your mother had wanted you to stick around the parking lot all night and wait for the Snow ball to end. Also, it was really, really cold out there. But, you didn’t want your mom to worry over Jen all night, so you agreed to stay. You would find something to do, even if that included freezing to death.
Death. Hah. That word honestly didn’t even faze you that much anymore, not after what had occurred in the past month. Images of alien like dog creatures Dustin had called ‘Demo-dogs’ flashed through your mind, especially of the one he called ‘Dart’ who nearly chewed your face off. And then there was that girl with the slicked back hair who everyone seemed to recognize except for you and Steve. Apparently, she had superpowers and helped close the gate and saved the world or something. You honestly didn’t know what to believe, or even do with all this newfound information.
You guessed life would just go on eventually, and somehow you’d manage to live past it.
You stood next to your sister, both of you waving good-bye to your mother, who yelled, “Have a good time and be safe!” before driving off and out of the drop-off zone. Jen sighed, flattening down her light pink dress.
“Are you really going to stay out here all night?” Jen asked as you both walked towards the entrance, you shrugged.
“It’ll be fun- staying out here all by myself in the freezing cold in order to avoid my past middle school teachers trying to catch up with me,” Jen laughed, stopping in front of the entrance and turning to face you.
“Are you sure I look okay, (y/n)?”
You glared slightly at her, pretty sure she’s just taking in the compliments, but you just smiled and held a thumbs up. Jen was about to speak before her eyes caught something behind you. Her cheeks suddenly turned the same color as her dress. You raised a brow, and turned around, seeing who had made her all flustered.
“Dustin?” you asked, the younger boy was surprised to see you here, but not as surprised as you when you saw how much his hair looked super familiar.
“What are you doing here, (y/n)?” he asked, you tore your eyes from his hair and pointed behind you.
“Just dropping off Jen-” but when you turned around, she was gone and already in the gym. You blinked, huffing slightly as you realized that Dustin was the boy she was so keen on. You laughed lightly, thinking that it was the cutest thing ever.
Your mind went back to Dustin’s hairstyle the moment you looked back at him.
“Okay- tell me right now...is Steve your role model or something?” You asked, jokingly. Dustin gave you an annoyed look before you chuckled, “You look great kiddo, now go in there and for the love of god find Jen and ask her to dance,” you winked. Dustin furrowed his eyebrows.
“Wait- what? really?”
You clicked your tongue before your eyes went to the car Dustin had gotten out of. Your jaw dropped when you instantly recognized it as Steve’s. Dustin noticed your excitement and gave a smug smile.
“He’s staying because he saw you and is hoping you’ll go over there to talk or something,” he said nonchalantly, you side-glanced Dustin, seeing him look at the car and wave. You can just feel Steve’s glare on the kid. You merely laughed it off.
“Don’t you have a ball to attend, kid?” you asked, Dustin cursed softly and walked into the entrance, muttering something about asking Jen to dance, a cheeky grin on his face. You shook your head, crossing your arms against your chest before turning and starting to walk over to Steve’s car.
You leaned down to his open window, a toothy grin and asked, “Is that you Steve? My knight in shining armor?” Steve smiled at the sight of you, and waved your comment off.
“Yeah, the one and only,” he responded, knowing you were referring to when he saved you from losing your face to some demo-dog, “Are you going to head home?”
You shook your head.
“Gotta stay here until it ends and make sure Jen is still alive after or something,” you shrugged, Steve laughed.
“Oh no- that’s not okay,” he said, “As your knight in shining armor, I’m going to save you from freezing to death…” he reached over and opened the car door, his other hand still resting on the wheel. You put your hand over your heart.
“Wow...what a gentlemen,” you commented as you climbed into his car, Steve shrugged, eyes still resting on you. You didn’t notice the way he stared at you, like Dustin had noticed when Steve pulled up and saw you.
“That’s what I am, didn’t you know?”
You just hummed, hugging your arms closer to you. Steve noticed, eying your shivering form before an idea popped in his mind.
“Wanna go get a warm drink or something?” he asked, you tilted your head in thought.
“Warm drink? You mean like coffee?” you asked, a playful glint in your eyes.Steve stared at you for a moment, before realizing how stupid he must sound.
“I said that…” he muttered. You snickered, but nodded.
“Yeah, I could go for a warm drink…” Steve cracked a smile, eyes still lingering on yours before starting his car. When he looked away as he began to drive out of the parking lot, you looked at the side of his face, thinking you saw a shade of pink on his cheeks...but it was too dark.
Since it had been a bit late, the cafe Steve took you to was nearly empty. There had been only one person ahead of you in line, and about 3 people sitting in different tables. Steve held his arm in front of you as you searched for your wallet in your bag.
“I got it…” he said, you squinted your eyes before pulling your hands out of your bag and holding them up in defeat. You stood close behind him and told him close to his ear what you wanted to order, teasing him. You could see him tense up when your hand lightly met his arm, and fight a smile as he continued the order.
He didn’t say anything about your light teasing, which indicated that he didn’t notice or ignored it. That thought made you frown as he carried both of your drinks to a more secluded area of the cafe. It was in a booth towards the back, in front of a large window. What made things more calm and relaxing was how dimmed up the cafe was.
It was really nice to be here, especially with Steve.
He set down your drink in front of you as you removed your coat and gloves.
“Thank you for the drink Steve, but you really didn’t have to do it...I feel bad now,” you admitted, taking the hot in your hand carefully.
“When a handsome guy takes a pretty girl somewhere...he has to pay,” he claimed, you rolled your eyes softly.
“Oh please- you’re words are just making me-” you wiped under your eyes, faking tears.
“Come on, (y/n), don’t mess around with me like that,” he joked back, a smile resting on his thin lips. You sighed, taking a sip of the hot liquid, it burning your tongue only slightly.
There was a comfortable silence between you two as you got warmed up and drank your beverages. You had been kind of staring at Steve, admiring his features as his eyes stared out the window at the streets of Hawkins.
He was a really good looking kid, with thick hair, and an even thicker heart. You wondered just how far you two would take these “dates” and flirting...
He suddenly huffed out a laugh, breaking your thoughts away.
“You know- I wish we got to know each other under better circumstances, like at school on a normal day or something,” he suddenly said, you scrunched up your face, not knowing what he meant. He could see your confusion, “You know with the whole me saving you from the demo-dog before you became it’s next meal,” he reminded.
“Oh yeah,” you suddenly remembered. You had forgotten about it when you were busy admiring the man before you, “That was...really scary- I remember seeing a dead rabbit on the side of the street- then all of a sudden something just starts growling at me,” you said shaking your head, seeing the thing standing on all fours at the other side of the street.
You had honestly thought it was a stray dog gone savage at first, but when it got closer you quickly realized it was anything but a dog. You were a fast enough thinker to quickly run and get your ass away from that thing though.
It chased you down the woods, you had forgotten why you were even out there that late. You gave it your best shot, but the creature got to you. It had tackled you the floor and revealed it’s bloodthirsty intentions.
It’s “face” opened up like some kind of deadly flower, filled with razor sharp teeth that could kill you the moment they sunk into your skin. If Steve hadn’t of been nearby near the abandoned bus, trying to lure the demo-dog, you would of been dead meat.
“God the way you swung that bat and just-bam!” you said too excitedly, “That was...honestly Steve really hot,” you admitted, making him almost spit his drink out.
“Are you serious?” he asked, you nodded sipping your drink, it being warmer this time. Steve smirked, and nodded, feeling content, “In a way, I’m kind of glad you showed up,”
You raised both brows.
“It wasn’t like i planned to ‘show up’,” you scoffed. Steve shook his head.
“No I mean- it felt a bit like fate for us to meet that way,” he explained, “I saved your life- and well- you saved my life…” he trailed off. You instantly remembered what he was talking about.
After he saved you from becoming the demo-dog’s dinner, more of them had showed up. You two had to think quick to get out of the danger zone and into the bus. Steve was struggling to get away with one, and without a second thought you got a hold of a stick and whacked it hard.
Steve had stared at you with some sort of amazement before you two made a run inside of the bus.
“Fate, you say?”
Steve nodded.
You suddenly grew silent, feeling a ghostly feeling go over you. It had only been about a month since it happened, and you couldn’t help but feel so...terrible when it crossed your mind. You felt afraid, and confused.
“(y/n)?” Steve’s voice suddenly pulled you back into reality in the cafe. There was a burning sensation in your hand that caused you to quickly set down the drink you were once clenching. He had both hands on the table, looking at you with concerned eyes, “(y/n)?” he said your name again.
“Does...Does it haunt you?” you asked, talking through the tight knot in your throat at the dark feeling that came over you. Steve raised a brow slightly.
“...the same happened to me you know- not exactly the same...about a year ago now I think- I walked in on Nancy and Jonathan when they were fighting it, the demogorgon,” he explained, you nodded, listening intently, “It was a full grown one too, Nancy and Jonathan lured it into their home to kill and I hadn’t ‘planned to show up” either,” he laughed at the memory, thinking how it was a bit funny now.
You cracked a smile.
“We killed it together...or injured it- whatever...but after that I couldn’t sleep for weeks, if it wasn’t for Nancy I don’t think I would’ve slept well at night at all,”
You looked down.
“How did she help you?”
He shrugged, looking sad for a moment, “She helped me forget because I loved her so much, everytime I looked at her it reminded me of how much I’ve changed and how much the experience had brought us together...I guess she didn’t feel the same way though,” he shrugged.
You leaned forward, resting your hand over his. His eyes flickered back up to yours.
“Well...you honestly helped me out…” you said, Steve furrowed his eyebrows slightly, “I don’t know...I just- when everything happened and I saw you there protecting the kids, especially fighting Billy- it made me think that there actually are good people out there ya’ know? People who aren’t selfish, who’s first instinct is to help others and is really caring, like if there’s something that evil lurking out there, there’s someone who isn’t afraid to fight it...” you felt your cheeks heating up, “Oh god that was too far huh?” you asked, letting out a shaky laugh.
Steve chuckled, holding your hand back.
“No- no not really (y/n),” he responded. He moved his other hand, now holding your one hand with both of his. You stared at your hands, feeling how cold his were. You looked back up at Steve, feeling your heart begin to race.
Without giving it much thought, Steve suddenly released your hands and moved out of the booth. You stood there bewildered for a second, wondering where he was going. He moved next to you, causing you to scoot closer to the wall.
“This might be too soon, but-” he licked his lips, “I want to be the person to help you forget, (y/n),”
You stared at him with wide eyes.
“I like you, a lot, and it’s okay if you don’t feel the same- I won’t be mad, or anything or ask you to repay me for the hot chocolate,” he joked, looking intently in your eyes.
You searched for something in his eyes, something that was saying he wasn’t sure- that he was only doing this to get over Nancy or something- but you saw and felt nothing but sincere honesty. You let out a shaking breath, scooting closer to him.
Of course, after the incident, you and Steve talked fairly a lot. You had always seen him as someone handsome, as a potential lover, but it seemed that there was always something holding you both back from each other.Like you were both aware of your mutual attraction but never let each other meet in the middle.  You both flirted endlessly with each other, calling him your knight in shining armor, and teasing him like in the line. It all seemed harmless, but you knew that your flirtations always meant something more.
Right now, it was time to meet in the middle, to finally let out your love for him. You knew it was time.
So, you leaned forward, taking his cheeks into both of your hands and planted a kiss on his lips.
The kiss had caught him off guard, that it took him a second or two to kiss you back. Your hands moved down from his cheeks to just below his chin, and his hand found it’s way on your side, resting there.
You moved away, opening your eyes and meeting his sparkling brown ones. A large smile rested on his lips, and one found it’s way to yours too.
“Does that mean you feel the same way?” he asked, eyes wandering over your entire flushed face. You laughed.
“I would think so,” you replied. He let out a sigh, like one of relief or something like the kiss wasn’t enough. He wanted to hear you say it.
You snickered, a silly thought coming to your mind, “It feels like you just took off your helmet to reveal that you’re actually a prince,” you teased, pecking him on the lips.
Steve tilted his head, a smirk on his lips.
“Well- at least when I reveal myself as a prince I won’t have a helmet covering my hair,” he bobbed his head looking up, you scoffed.
“It must of been a big helmet,” you joked, Steve faked a frown and looked at you, before he smiled widely, moving in to kiss you once more, this time pushing more into the booth. You squeaked by surprise as his smooth lips crashed into yours.
As much as you joked about him being your knight in shining armor, you really were so thankful for him being there that night or you really wouldn’t be here right now. And now that you were aware of all the evil things that lurked around, you felt safe being with Steve.

missed opportunity - (Thomas Jefferson x reader x Alexander Hamilton)
summary : Alex fucks up his one chance with you and you run into the arms of his v attractive nemesis.
warnings - mentions of sex, implied smut, cussing, lots of angst, anxiety related things, and Alex/Thomas being dumbasses
pronouns : she/her
a/n - I’m distractin myself from being unable to write the third part of the bus fic !!!!1!1!! also I love angst way too much. I’m in a relationship. this is unhealthy.
a/n pt. 2 - anyways this is after i wrote this- this had been in my drafts for three weeks ugh. im not making a part two to this. chaptered fics give me anxiety. the third fic of the bus fic is going to be the last one. sorry guys, im choosing my mental health over my fics. :/
you sipped the lemonade-cranberry concoction you had made and watched your best friend from the distance. he had invited you to this party as his ‘date’. in his words, “not like a date-date but like a date.” when he looks at your confused glare, he cleared his throat, let out an exasperated sigh, and explained.
“I can’t go alone to the ball, otherwise Jefferson will never let me hear the end of it. I procrastinated asking someone out so you’re my last choice- I just need you to come and be my…” his hand fluttered in the air as he searched for a word.
“arm candy?” you supplied, laughing.
“yes! I mean no! I just need you to come! please!” he begged, and got down to his knees as he shook your legs.
“I’ll owe you twenty favors!” he cries. you raised an eyebrow. your friendship was based on favors. not like that, but because trust was important between you two, and that if he says he owed you a favor, you were free to call upon it for anything, at anytime. his best friends funeral? too bad, gotta unclog my toilet. obviously you weren’t that cruel, but you did embarrass him. once, you had made him walk around in a Harley Quinn-esque crop top that read “daddy’s girl” when he owed you a favor for bringing him INDIAN takeout.
“know what your getting into hamilton” you laughed, and got up to go change, since the party was in two hours.
You walk down the stairs, on your phone, not noticing Alex’s jaw drop. you wore a simple black dress that cut off at your knees and had a gorgeous lace pattern behind. small blue jewels encrusted the edges of the lace trimming. your makeup, again, simple but elegant. a basic navy smokey eye with a dark blue eyeliner and dark purple lipstick was just enough to an accent to set everything off. god, you looked so beautiful right now, he could just kiss you right now.
“you look… amazing.” alex finally got out.
“huh?” you looked up from your phone, and it was your turn to gasp. he was wearing a very fitted suit, accentuating his body, and a little dark blue accent on each piece of clothing.
“so… we matched?” you laugh. he chuckles nervously. “hey, you look great.” you linked his arm into yours and grabbed your clutch, slipping into your heels.
“let’s do this thing.”
now back to your dilemma. you knew it would be a boring night, but you didn’t know it would be this kind of boring. you had promised to stay sober, but watching Alex flirt with every other person here was making it hard. you felt a pressure on the other side of the velvet couch and turned. Thomas Jefferson, the man Alex hated more than anything, sat next to you. a bitter taste filled your mouth. he had never met you before, but that didn’t stop your dislike for him and his antics.
“where’s your date?” he asked, amused at your scowl.
“still here.” you said. you couldn’t have made your plea for him to leave more clearer, but that only made him want to stay more.
“but not enchanting a beautiful lady such as yourself. I assume, if there really is a date, that he ran to the bathroom in fear of embarrassing himself in front of someone as stunning as you.” your anger didn’t help the slight blush that started to creep up your cheeks. you thanked GOD for this green lighting that made it hard to notice. but nevertheless, a smirk played on Thomas’ lips.
“may I know your name?” he asks smugly, scooting closer to you. you roll your eyes.
“ok, I like the mysterious kind of hard to get thing youre doing here.” he laughs, and that’s when you get up.
“ok listen” you spit, “no means no. I am not in a mood to be hit on by some guy while I watch the LOVE of my goddamn life basically fuck another girl on the counter.” you were seething, referring to when Alex started to make out with someone, Maria you think, in the corner. you couldnt slut shame her- she was just into a very attractive person, just like you were.
Thomas’ gaze softened. he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as he peered at his shoes.
“I-uh- im sorry.” he mumbles. your eyebrows raise in surprise.
“are you now?” you ask, your turn to be amused. he looks up at you, regaining his usual composure.
“how about I make it up to you with a drink? you can forget about him for as long as I’m with you.” he smiles, and grabs your hand. you glance over to Alex, his lips still attached to some girl, this time someone else. your shrug, maybe it would be good to forget about Alex for a little bit.
“let’s head out of here.”
plot twist. Thomas Jefferson wasn’t that bad of a fuck boy. sure, he was flirty, and sure, he knew his way around words, but when you labeled it as part of his charm and started to notice other things about him (e.g: his smile when you made a joke, the nervous ticks like running his hand through his hair or bouncing his knee, his favorite drink being fancy old whiskey you couldn’t pronounce, and the fact that he had five dogs), he wasn’t that bad. but as the drinks poured in and the night went on, he went from not that bad to hot as hell.
so when he leaned in to plant a kiss on your cheek, you pulled his lips to yours and started to make out with him. none of you ‘immediately sobered up’, but you did find yourself thinking clearly. or feeling clearly was a batter word. everything about him was made more aware. his stubble, his lips, his skin.
that’s when Alex walked in. to be fair, you weren’t that drunk. but you were drunk enough to consider Thomas as a viable fuck option. but Alex had to come and fuck everything up. he had seen you two leave the venue, but when you hadn’t picked up your phone, he got suspicious. he knew you were both lazy as hell so searched the nearest bars and finally came upon this one, where the first things you could notice as you walked in would be the pair of people making out at the bar.
“y/n!” Alex angrily yelled. you pulled back and looked at alex, the grin plastered on your face replaced with a frown.
“you left! I got scared! you weren’t answering your texts!” he started to scream at you. Thomas rubbed his head as he slowly started to peace things together.
“wait… this is your date? the guy you’re in-” you put your hand over his mouth and he shut up.
“come on. we’re leaving.” Alex said, glaring at Thomas as he dragged your hand.
“but I was having so much funnnnn” you whined. Alex laughed dryly, roughly grabbing your arm and pulling you out of the bar. he shoved you into the car, muttering under his breath. he closed the door quickly and stood outside of the car door. he ran his hand through his hair.
“fuck.” he whispered. the image of your lips on jefferson’s was burned into his mind. “FUCK!” he yelled at no one in particular. he took a deep breath, and sat in the front seat. he fixed the mirror and looked directly at you.
“how drunk are you?” he asked you, as he started up the car and began to drive. you looked him dead in the eye and started to laugh.
“not that much, actually” you chuckle out. “wow, jefferson kisses great, even half-drunk” you were amused. you didn’t notice the deathly grip alex had on the steering wheel, his jaw clenched, his eyes on the road. soon, you pulled up to his house. before you could even enter the house, you were pushed up against the door.
“do you know how much it fucked me up?” he growls against your neck. a deep kiss on your neck made you shiver and moan in pleasure. desperate, sloppy kisses started to line your collarbone. another moan escapes your lips, until you realize who it is and why he’s doing it. you push him off your body and force your eyes to his.
“alex… i-” you start, but were cut off by his words.
“shit! shit-” he rambles, running his hand through his hair and pacing in circles.
you place a hand on his chest gently. “Alex, just stop, listen.” he looks up at you.
“god knows I’ve wanted this. I’ve wanted this for so long but i will not” you glare at him pointedly, “be used as leverage for this pissing contest you have between jefferson.”
he looks at you, his mouth agape. fire raged behind his eyes. “thats not at all-” you cut him off again.  “no- no i don’t want to fucking hear it. im leaving- this is too much.” “you’re drunk.” he stated.
“im not, but whats your point?”
“you need a ride. i-ill drive you.”
“what? after all of this?” you laugh.
“i just need to make sure you get home safe. ill call john- anyone- i just don’t want you going home with a stranger.” he begs, making you roll your eyes.
“sure, fine, whatever. call laf. i trust him” you waved it away and walked into the kitchen. it was an awkward silence, waiting for Lafeyette. Alex went upstairs to his roo, muttering a ‘goodnight’. you walked around the downstairs floor. lots of memories brimmed at your minds edges, threatening to form tears. alex, of all people? you knew he was career-obsessed, but this was a goddamn low blow. a text from laf brought you out of your thoughts. you texted him a quick ok and walked outside. lafayette’s car stood there, and a solemn-looking french boy stood in front of it.
“we need to talk.” was all he said, and led you into the car.
“is this about alex? did he ask you to talk to me?” you asked, once you were inside the car.
“what? no . um. theres something i need to tell you.” he says, his accent thick. you knew it was only like this when he was nervous. his finger tapped against the steering wheel, and his knee bounced up and down.
“what is it?” you looked at him. he takes a deep breath.
“im moving back to france. my ma- she’s- she’s not well.” he breathes out. you look at him.
“laf- im so sorry.” you mutter out as a response. he starts to ramble on his french banging his steering wheel. you could only piece a few words from your limited french together but you knew enough to know that laf was not ok.
“lafayette!” you called out. he looked at you and took a deep breath. “i need to do something before i leave.” and he started to lean in. you thought he was going to kiss you, and your breath hitched in his throat. instead, he reached into the compartment and pulled out a picture of hercules.
“tell that godamn man that i am in love with him, ok?” you looked at him, confused. they were dating, everyone knew it.
“I don’t understand?” “im not coming back dammit! Je ne sais pas quoi faire. J'aime ma mère, mais je ne sais pas quoi faire. Je devrais vous laisser, mes meilleurs amis. Je t'aime tous aussi! I have a wife i left! a family i ran away from! i cant just come back! Im leaving y/n- fuck!” he yells, frustrated. you’ve reached your house at this point, crying out before stumbling out of the car. this was all so much. you ran to your room, crying into the pillows. then you got a text.
unknown number
hey, its thomas, just checking up to see if you’re ok. james gave me your number, alex dragged you off and i was a bit scared since he seemed mad. text me if you get this so i know youre ok! - t.jeff
you were tired, emotionally unstable, in denial. so maybe thats why you called him over. it started off with you spilling everything to him, ended in rough, angry, heated sex. maybe then you should have just left it at that. but you didn’t. he came back the next week then the week after that, then daily. alex began to notice the marks on his neck in the exact shape of those lips he had spent so long studying. you began to notice laf’s absence left a bigger dent in his life then he’d ever want to admit. you didn’t ever like him, oh god no, not like that. he was a brother to you when he first came to America. you were both immigrants to new york in one way or another, and you two formed a bond. with  him you met alex, and with him you fell in love with alex. he was your support through all things alex-related, and now when you needed him most, he was just gone.
you had tried lafayette’s number for the eight time that day. im sorry, but the number you are trying to reach has been disconnected.
you knew this. you just didn’t want to admit it to yourself. his words burned into your mind. i cant just come back! Im leaving y/n! you were trying so hard to pretend that you were ok. thomas helped. a lot. what was originally a one night stand ended up becoming a relationship of sorts. it was complicated, messy, but it worked enough that you felt safe around him. he had convinced you to go and try to to talk to alexander. at first you were surprised, thinking he’d encourage the discourse between you two.
“i’m just sayin’ , whenever you get all worked up and angry at me, its usually about him.” he says, shrugging.
“well, thomas,” you glared pointedly at him “maybe sometimes you act dumb.”
he laughed, “just give him a chance. I don’t like seein’ my darlin’ angry. if he fucks up, ill always beat him up for ya.”
you rolled your eyes, eventually agreeing. which led you here, in front of alexander’s door. no matter what, you told yourself, you were not to remember how you used to feel about him. you sighed. used to, was the key word. you had thrown away every piece of love you had for him, mostly because you were dating thomas now. he didn’t even do anything that bad, sometimes you would reason. but you were stubborn, and you didn’t want to admit defeat. you brought your hand to door, but it swung open before your knuckles reached the wood.
“y/n” he breathed out. god, he looked bad. bags under his red eyes, hair an unkempt mess. a oversized hoodie was thrown over shoulders. his pants looked three weeks old. you shook your head.
“alexander, wear some damn deodorant” you laughed. for that moment, it was like the before. your head tiled back, alex’s eyes crinkled in joy. but then the laughter died down, and the aftermath of you leaving him downed on the both of you. the silence in the air hung around you. thick in its wake, alex’s lips opened up.
“im sorry.” was all he had to say, and tears from both of you started to spill. he fell into your arms, muttering ‘im sorry’ repeatedly. you were happy and sad, but then you remembered what Alex had done. you slowly shrugged him off your body.
“listen-” you started, but Alex cut you off.
“no you listen! ok, i know, how it may have seemed. I was not using for that so-called pissing contest. i was jealous. you, the woman i have been in love with for almost three years, almost hooked up with a man that i would kill if the opportunity arrived, without question.” he says, and brings his hand up to your cheek.
“what?” your eyes widened. they started to drift downwards, towards his lips, but you stopped yourself. for so long, you had wished to kiss him. and now the one chance you had, you fucked up. thomas was waiting for you at home, what would he say? you couldn’t do this.
“i-im sorry too. i have to go.” you ran towards the uber, and slammed the car door shut, you drove to the nearest exit, and stepped out. you muttered a quiet thanks and leftit was a deserted gas station, perfect. and you started scream. crying, you slammed your fist unto the nearest pole, feeling pain prickle up your knuckles. you ran around, pushing everything in your midst. all your rage flew into the broken shards and splinters in front of you, and into the screams you let out. you broke down there, crying for about half an hour before a car pulled up. though puffy red eyes, you saw a worried thomas step out of the car. in his hand he held his phone, and rushed towards you.
“baby? are you ok? god, who did this?” he looked at your bloodied knuckles. love had made you crazy, you though to yourself, who would do this to themselves? thomas kissed your forehead and brought you into his car.
“ho-w did yo-ou find m-me?” you sniffle. he laughs and rubs your shoulder in comfort.
“find my iPhone baby.” he says softly. “i got scared when you didn’t pick up. i used find my iPhone and there you were. i got scared.” he repeated. you nodded at him.
“do you wanna tell me what happened?” he asks gently, letting you take your time. you shake your head. he nods.
“okay, can you at least answer one thing for me? can you do that darlin?”
you nod slowly.
“did alex hurt you in any form or wa-” “oh! oh god no! i- i just got really angry.”
“why?”
“i don’t know, not really. i come back to let alex apologize and instead he confesses that he’s been in love with me this whole time but im with you now and i don’t know-” you let out a sob. thomas’ eyebrows furrow. he carefully speaks the next words, already knowing the answer and knowing it would hurt both of you.
“do you- do you still love him?” he whispers. when you look up at him, eyes shining with vulnerability, thats all he needed to know. he looks away, and focus on the road. he didn’t need to deal with this. he dropped you off at your apartment and let you rest. tomorrow would be a whole different thing.
