i think it's because i'm already used to waking up early... even tho i'm a very sleep deprived student that sleeps at 12-1 and wakes up at 5 😔 i'm fairly a light sleeper so no matter what time i sleep, whenever my alarm goes off i'm always up by the second 🥲

and LMAOO i've played a ton of those wish sims to prevent myself from rolling whenever i'm saving up for a character, it works wonders

i didn't really expect you to like fischl!!! i like using her in events where we have her as a trial character lol using oz in her burst and flying around is so silly but i always have fun with it!

seems like we're both on the run for alhaitham :D currently have 72 pity and he still has yet to arrive... i do not have a guarantee whatsoever so the next time i pull i'm gonna be praying for him to come home 😔 i've already explored most of the new area for him

27. How long did it take to write Kaeya and the Huge Bread? Describe the process.

hooooooooooo boy okay so according to gdocs, i started writing it in mid february lmao. and i'm not entirely sure what day exactly i finished, but i did start posting it on childe's bday (july 20), and my usual process is to take a week or two prior to posting a chaptered fic to edit it, so...give or take 4.5-5mo or so to write?

tbh when i run headfirst into longfics like that, i rarely have much of a process lmao. i really don't outline anything, but i'll have usually a few key points i want to hit on throughout the story, or a few scenes/dialogue bits that i'm particularly excited to write, and then i really just work my way from one bit to the next lmao. i really have to write linearly, which sort of helps me make progress cause if i only wrote the stuff i was super excited for, i wouldn't bother to fill in the blanks or figure out any of the other cool stuff that i usually discover along the way

for example, the fact that the irodori festival was going to be a big part of the story/a big part of kaeya's reveal wasn't something i even really uncovered til halfway through writing the story lmao AND actually it didn't even occur to me til long after i conceived the idea for certain plot points that the reason kaeya struggled with not wanting childe to hold him to too-high romantic standards was not only bc he didn't feel like his writing reflected himself as a romantic partner but also cause he's aromantic!

this one was also fun cause i have all these commercial breaks, which started as an excuse to write zhongluc but quickly evolved into an excuse to write some other ships that i otherwise would have no reason or groundwork to write outside the context of this au, but those often got written actually After i worked on most of the main fic (my brain didn't demand linear writing since each one was sort of a Separate story) and also cause the main fic didn't get divided properly into chapters til basically i was done lmao

i also had a snag at one point during that writing period where i deadass wrote a whole scene, then immediately realized i was cramming too much into one single situation, and i actually ended up having to go back and rewrite the whole thing as two distinct scenes lmaoooo

37. Promote one of your own “deep cut” fics (an underrated one, or one that never got as much traction as you think it deserves!). What do you like about it?

i adore this question and i have to limit the number of times i plug my first chaeya fic lmao so instead i will mention a kaeluc fic that got a surprisingly small amount of traction for the fact that it's klk?

our names were meant to have arrows drawn through (x) is a fun lil spring break fic where klk meet as strangers and - in a wildly impulsive move on diluc's part - spend the night together

41. Link a fic that made you think, “Wow, I want to write like that.”

am i a simp for my wife? yes. but she's basically nonexistent on tumblr now so i can do that >:} seriously tho, there's just something poetic about the way she writes, and the first time i read smth of hers i was just. enamored with her writing style? i'm not entirely sure i had a 'this is what i want my writing to look like' vibe exactly (and i'm not sure i've had that really with any fic, per se - i like the way i write! and i know it's influenced by what i read as well, but it's rarely a conscious decision to point my writing in a particular direction)

anyway, that said, sometimes i feel inspired to write a little more poetically and i think it has to do with how lovely her writing sounds to me. she doesn't write for genshin, but if any of u bktdbks follow me, be sure to check out her fics - analog love (x) is a sweet one abt oranges

42. Have you ever received a comment that particularly stood out to you for whatever reason?

ohhhh this is both simultaneously a hard question to answer and a very easy one. the hard answer is: i have the memory of goldfish with amnesia and even the comments i've received that i know have been particularly meaningful to me or particularly poignant have slipped my mind

the easy answer is that, although i can't recall specific examples of exact comments, i do know the things in comments that i've received that genuinely mean the world to me. comments about my stories being immersive or that the reader couldn't put it down, comments about rereading, comments that pick out tropes or ideas or specific things that transcend some of my stories that the reader appreciates, comments that quote favorite lines (especially if, by coincidence, they quote some of my favorite lines from a story). comments that say i got someone into a ship !!!! comments that mention that my story got them through a rough time. comments from serial commenters whose names i recognize from my other fics

idk if this is conceited or smth but some day i would really just love to go print out like. all the comments i've gotten and paste them on big posterboards or smth to hang on my walls. i do not have the wall space for that but perhaps some day i will lmao cause like. idk sometimes my brain just forgets that like. this is from a whole entire real person !!!! who read my words !!! and LIKED THEM and wanted to let me know !!!!! like !!!! holy shit bro !!!!!

49. What are you currently working on? Share a few lines if you’re up for it!

LMAO what am i currently not working on? i keep saying i'll get back to my prince kaeya x many fic some day soon, but ideas keep cropping up and bopping me in the head lmao. perhaps once things slow down a bit for me, i'll have time and energy to swing back to it

currently i'm working on something as a request which i'm not quite ready to share bits of yet (still early stages atm as i am irritatingly busy rn and haven't been able to really get a flow going just yet)

for cloud, i’m assuming either he’s still recovering from trauma or that sephiroth has invaded his brain. i feel like he just could use some warmth so i would definitely hold him and tell him that no matter what happened, it was never his fault and that it’s okay to still have nightmares. i’d probably soothe him by making him some tea mostly or even just running my hands in his chocobo-like hair. for myself, cloud would also do similar except he lets his actions do the talking instead of his words so he’s definitely hold me tight — rather rare since it’s harder for him to show affection since he doesn’t want to get too attached but he’ll do his best in order to comfort.

2. iwasky:

hajime is RELUCTANT but he tries to play final fantasy with me cause i told him i’m in the game (he regrets it because he knew i am not). he ends up liking aerith because he sees me somewhat and he gets annoyed since i said he’s basically cloud with the way he acts (his amazon cart has the cosplay already in it). another game is smash bros but he likes that more cause then he can get payback against me, his main is cloud (he also regrets this for like 0.2 seconds but he likes his playstyle) since i get distract and ultimately, he wins. i tried to get him into genshin, honkai star rail, and fate grand order but he said no cause he doesn’t want to go broke for pixels.

my favorite date is probably our first date since he was flustered and probably went for the most casual thing he could think of, an amusement park to which he won me a giant gible plushie and he was able to protect me from my fear of heights. he did NOT pick this idea, tooru did and he hatecrimed tooru because i looked miserable on every ride to which tooru texted back, “it’s okay, you’re protect her, iwa-chan! 😋🫶✨‼️” the arcade was fun as well as the food. bonus if it’s disneyland because star wars land is the BEST.

i mean honestly, yes. dan heng and i definitely enjoy just being next to each other so i believe quality time is a great one. he probably works on the data bank while i sleep since i sleep so much and he ends up reading it out loud to me to check for grammatical mistakes but also since i’m curious about his adventures since leaving the luofu. i’m sure it was relaxing for the most part to speak about his adventures and just makes me wish to travel more so maybe one day we could take our own little adventure outside of my dreams<3

i feel like this was inspired by a certain conversation… but anyway! love this one AHAHAHAHAH! anyway zack is the type to not have an iternary because he’s just bouncing off the walls which who blames him?? ITS BEACH TIME!! but i digress, a beach day is definitely a fun day! (provided that costa del sol isn’t also giving monsters a vacation as well, ahem anyway…) but definitely he’d grab me and throw me into the water as soon as we got to the beach, he’d make sure it’s safe but he’s also SUCH a tease. though, he’d realize we forgot sun screen so he waits about 20 minutes before throwing me in again. we also would have a picnic on the beach honestly, the resort provides the food though. he’s like 23 at this point so he’s a bit more mature but still has that childish glow. i’d try to teach him beach volleyball too, he’s so bad unless he’s serving overhand LOL. overall, a fun day without the monsters as we play in the water, perhaps building sandcastles and teaching each other small things about ourselves :)

iwaizumi hajime does not neglect great date SPOTS. he definitely does just silly little things like errands but sometimes he’ll trick me and just take me on a long drive!! my favorite time that he did this is when he took me up high on a mountain and overlooked the whole city as well as all of the lights below. he claims it’s because i needed to get out of bed more but i know he’s dying to take me. what’s even better is that along that, there’s an observatory at the top of the mountain and there’s a planetarium since he knows i like the stars but all he sees is his star while he smiles brightly at how happy i am, looking down below.

neuvillette definitely seems like the type to be mr. worldwide SOLELY FOR THAT FACT that the water is delicious. i believe he would want the journey to be as short as possible though for work… unfortunately. he and i are both glad he could make the time though. we’d definitely go to the new area that released!! he probably likes it because there’s so much water there so it’s similar to what he’s used to and cause it’s closer than the rest. it was a small date for the two of us but it’s definitely nice to see how much neuvillette knows everything and explain the difference between waters<33

Some things you should know:

I write for what i’m obsessed with at the moment, so new things could be added anytime.

I’ll still be doing x reader, head cannons, and one shots!!

I’m open to doing any genres such as hurt/comfort, fluff, or angst. You name it!!

I’m also open to writing smut/NSFW now. I haven’t attempted it, but i’m down to try! If you request it i’ll try my best to write it well :)) just know it won’t be perfect

I’ll take romantic/platonic requests for kazuha (the name of inspiration for this blog), childe, xiao, diluc, zhongli, ayato, yae miko, raiden shogun/ei, eula, keqing, ningguang, beidou, hu tao, shenhe, yoimiya, and ayaka.

I’ll also do ships from the game for ex. yae miko and ei or ningguang and beidou. I won’t be doing any minors with adults or just weird ships in general that don’t make sense.

For Attack on Titan:

I will take only platonic requests for connie and sasha.

For Hunter x Hunter:

I will take romantic/platonic requests for kurapika, hisoka, feitan, machi, and chrollo.

I’ll be taking only platonic requests for gon and killua.

For Fruits Basket:

I’ll be taking romantic/platonic requests for shigure, hatori, ayame, yuki, and haru.

I’ll be taking only platonic requests for tohru, hanajima, uotani, and momiji.

You can also request things for certain ships as well for ex. tohru and kyo

For Fairy Tail:

I can take platonic/romantic requests for erza, lucy, loke, juvia, and gray.

I’ll be taking only platonic requests for natsu and wendy :p

For Jujustu Kaisen:

I’m taking platonic/romantic requests for nanami, gojo, maki, inumaki, itadori, and megumi.

For Deathnote:

For Demon Slayer:

If you want certain ships to be written about without a reader ex. tanjiro and kanao or shinobu and giyu that’s fine too.

Hello ! I was wondering if we could have some series recs ? I’ve really been into reading series lately. I love the author reader interactions and just the sheer talent of writers like yourself blow my Ming like whattt? howw do y’all make drafts, plot lines , general timelines of events , well rounded personalities etc it’s so amazing.

I also have some recs of my own. @saintobio has some amazing angst series like some real tear jerkers. You will love her suna one and she’s currently working on a gojo one, I am hooked, just like with unloving miya atsumu. Hope you enjoy

I also read @saintobio's works, too. Especially wastelands? Wow, I felt a lotta emotions and I'm so jealous of how she created such an amazing work. (my only issue and gripe are the names, bc y’know, it’s in Japan and all but that’s me) She really crafted a world so desolate that you can feel it from a macro scale down to the micro - which are the characters and all.

Buuuut, here’s a new list on some new fics I’ve loved for a while, and some very recent:

Disappear by @sebbys-girl. (Marvel, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier x Reader) This was just FULL of angst from the start, where everybody was against the reader and she just took it in, for a half-assed reason. The action is just as good too (which I’m really jealous about) and the new characters, which were flesh out interestingly but didn’t take over and weren’t OP compared to the already existing characters.

the fire’s out but it still burns by deeppoeticgirl. (Naruto, Sakura Haruno x Sasuke Uchiha) I’m a SasuSaku fan, and I’ve actually been following this art blog @dymx and she has these amazing art and would link artists that she inspired works from. Also, this fic has everything I want in an angst fic with these two :”>

Beastly Possession by Whild Rhov. (Fairy Tail, Lucy Heartfilia x Natsu Dragneel) Fair warning, this is really detailed, has themes you might be uncomfortable with, but is a hell of a ride. Rhov went hard on this fic, delving into certain things regarding Dragon Slayer magic Hiro Mashima won’t give us (lol)

Forgotten Flame by Little Falcon (Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Haru Miura x ???) One of my favorites when I was younger, because I was so intrigued by the premise of that mysterious person of a mysterious undiscovered faction (i dont know the name of this trope haha). The mystery leading up to the other pair had me gnawing and the ending was so worth it all.

The Long Way Home by the general girl (Naruto, Sakura Haruno x Sasuke Uchiha). Sooo, this one has amnesia au, a troubled Sakura, and an annoying side-character. It’s really fun because Sakura is a mess with her feelings but just wants to see Sasuke well, even though he doesn’t know her.

make me complete once again by dandelionpetals. (Genshin Impact, Kaeya Alberich x Diluc Ragnvindr) I just read this recently and oh my god- OH MY GOD YES THE ANGST. I love this kinda angst, to be honest. Y’all will have to read to find out why I love it so much.

Changes by nerdymama. (Pokemon Sword/Shield, Leon/Dande x Sonia). Okay, to be honest, I shipped them so hard when I was playing and I’m a sucker for childhood friends-to-lovers trope. BUT! As the title suggests, there’re changes that happened in the fic that testified not only their relationship, but on each other’s psyche for the better. It’s also the fic that really helped inspire me to work on my Sakusa fic.

The Story of Us by thesweetnerd. (Haikyuu!! Atsumu Miya x Kiyoomi Sakusa) Another amnesia au that just stings and stings with each chapter, I was bawling in a few of them to be honest. Such a satisfying read to the end.

In The Dark Of The Night, I Long For The Light by StarTears. (Genshin Impact, Diluc Ragnvindr x Lumine/Traveler) Ehe, this was my first Genshin fic that I read, because Diluc piqued my interest. It’s really deep and delves into immortality’s complications, one’s dignity, one’s mission, and the fact that there’s someone for them that they have to choose against everything.

Subterfuge by @bunsterjonez. (Marvel, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier x Reader) My god, this was one of the early MCU fics I’ve read that really made me fall in love with Bucky Barnes. It’s a slow burn, mind you, but it’s just sooooo goooooooood! I aspire to reach her level of creativity, honestly.

I have a hard time getting to focus on fics I’ve been dying to read, because I almost always find myself going back to these.

Also, writing can be that much work and all, but at the end of the day, the most important key element to it is: just have fun :) It’s more than writing for an audience, you’re writing for yourself :)
