also I probably mentioned this before but I hate how they try to "gothic-ify" Drakovia & the family to the point of satire like please stfu you can make people look and appear menacing without relying on stereotypes!!

#if i hear one more “omg the thornes are so desensitised to violence so they make so many jokes abt it”#and “christmas is halloween in drakovia” i will kms #like yes the thornes have seen violence play out but it is so cheapened to the point where you arent sure if it is even serious #i would love a more constructive discussion on how violence and bloodshed is rooted in their family and how it becomes a cycle -#in terms of wanting power - seeking approval - interpreted as devotion to their country (their family)#than a cheap joke about how they're all secret cultists or something #idk this just pisses me off a little
