There's something about otherworldly creatures with limbs of many other animals/insects/such but by all luck of genetically unique outcomes have the bit of homosapian that can make a human person overlook it all to truly see them and love them even.

Just does something for me. Let the mythical creatures have a little homosapian in them, just enough to be okay to the audience.

#like yes 4 extra limbs. 7 eyes. some antlers. tusks #and some random hermit whose rich or in the 1600s living the woods finding this being and becomes curious #they learn to communicate and spends time together #telling stories even if sometimes the other doesn't quite get it #being from different words and learning to love each other despite that the other is scary to them #also let the mythical-animorph-like being be scared of the human too please #it's only right #they're both curious and scared
