genuinely do not think I would be so reactive to the q slur still if I didn’t have to hear cishets say it with their whole chest every day
#like yeah it’s frustrating getting called the q slur by default by other lgbts#but it’s the fact that a cishet can look me straight in the face and call me a slur and I’m suppose to just like#accept that(#?#like the d slur was thrown at me just as much in my youth but#no one has forced me to be ‘okay’ with that word#and hearing it doesn’t throw me into a swirl of bad childhood memories#bc I feel like I got to reclaim it on my own fucking time#sorry this isn’t important like it’s really so easy to not assume everyone wants to b called a slur but here we are
