Also because gnc does not equal nonbinary. Because people do not need to conform to your specific standard for their gender in order to count. Because trying to take away a cis person's gender because you don't agree with their presentation is no less violating and represive than doing so to a trans person. And because at the end of the day you are, as OP said, just reinforcing gender roles which inevitably hurt trans people as well.

(And yeah, let's not forget the inherent racism involved when the standards inevitably revolve around arbitrary white culture concepts of masculinity.)

Coming up with new categories of gender norms/expectations to shove people into isn't progress. It's expanding on repression.

calling every gnc cis person you see an "egg waiting to crack" even as a joke is not cool or funny at all actually it is extremely invasive and weird and you are just reinventing gender roles but making it "progressive"
