#like when I have gyro; give me that cucumber sauce; give me tons of feta... but no diced tomatoes#actually same with olives#and you know; the fucked up thing is it's not like I even hate hate them... or...#it's like I; me; mentally in my head; I don't hate tomatoes or olives... I think I maybe could like them#but my body; my body just viscerally gets revolted#it makes me physically want to recoil... don't even really know why#I'd love to love them in some ways#but I just... can't... fucking... put them in my mouth#and the times I force myself to; maybe they're ok... and next bite is just as painful#(but also a lot of tomato stuff just legit sucks)#(like the tomatoes I might like are like... the best of the best; the freshest; firmest; all star tomatoes)#(canned tomatoes suck; full stop... they're slop to me)#actually... this is part of why I want to get my hands on some dried chilies#want to make myself this zero tomato salsa I saw someone make on youtube#middle aged mexican guy; so you can just tell it's good shit#I want that... finally a salsa with no nasty wet tomatoes in it... I put up with it sometimes... but I don't like salsa much either#that's how much I don't like tomatoes#(unrelated; but I honestly often prefer avocado to guacamole... guac is good; but avocado is better)
