My sisters boyfriend is being so passive aggressive rn Im too tired
#he gets sensory overload and our family is loud and italian#so he does this thing when we have family dinners where instead of#either a managing his own symptoms by bringing headphones or taking smoke breaks from the noise outside#or b politely asking us to try to manage our noise bc hes overwhelmed#he makes rude passive agressive comments trying to train us out of habits that are not inherently bad but annoy him#like this is how our family communicates we arnt going to change our entire dynamic to manage YOUR symptoms#i get sensory overload with my family too i fucking have noise canceling headphones and take breaks when i need them#its not that hard to be responsible for your own mental health instead of trying to police other peoples behavior for your convenience#or at the very least not be rude about it
