Okay, credit where credit is due, "On your feet, boy. You can't set the world ablaze on your ass," is an amazing line and I kind of want it on a T-shirt
#worst movie EVER liveblog#this may be the only credit this movie is due but im trying to be fair here#i DONT believe its as bad as i remember#although they sure are after a mcguffin that has not been established yet#like they havent actually said. what the mcguffin is. even in the vaguest terms#not great#also iirc this is going to be completely debunked later but the intro of this movie talked about the titular book of vile darkness right#which was made of 3 parts. the ink the pages and the cover. and the ink was destroyed#and the bbeg is 'collecting artifacts' and has hired two groups of mercenaries right#so one would naturally assume that one group was sent after the cover and the other one after the pages right#well one would be wrong because the one group was sent to kidnap this guys father and the other one is after this mysterious mcguffin#which iirc turns out to be a horn and nothing to do with a book at all#the book will LITERALLY never be mentioned again
